I don't think that Paypal is a scam, because based on what I saw in the internet other online shops are using Paypal for payment, and mind you that those online shops are popular and legal. So maybe if someone was having a problem with Paypal then the people of Paypal should be aware to it, because it's damaging the name of  Paypal.

There's no solid proof that paypal is a scam those people that are using it thinks that paypal is scam. And those who are experiencing but delays and other problems with paypal are talking but complains to them. I did use paypal for so many times and I'm satisfied with it. I don't even intend to say that they are just scamming me.
Well, if you have linked legit credit card on your PayPal then you did not encounter any problem in PayPal unless you violate the PayPal rules, those who say that PayPal is scam are those who have problem about their credit card they insert (probably cheap VCC) or they violate the PayPal rules.

Paypal was first revolution in online payment processor world! And the service you are accusing scam was sold for $1.5 billion 15 years ago when internet was not so popular so you guess its worth!

However, I have seen many complaints too like you mentioned. But I will blame people instead of Paypal for this. Paypal has clearly written terms and conditions. Being a financial company, it has to be very sensitive towards regulations and should curb unjustified use over its platform.

PayPal isn't a scam, it's just that all the rules and regulations they have put down will cost you and if you make the tiniest of mistakes, it will give them a reason for them to lock down your account and run.

If you play it overly cautiosly, you'll be fine.

PayPal is serious financial service with long tradition, excepted everywhere. We can't call it scam. They have they own issues and problems, the service is sometimes not perfect, holding money on their account is maybe not the smartest thing to do, but they are not scamers.

Yes paypal is indeed recognized worldwide and have very stringent rules which they claim are set to protect buyers from would- be scammers. The moment they suspect something small, they will immediately restrict your account until they are very sure before they release the funds. Some of us acted in ignorance and never read their rules and regulations and had our accounts restricted. I have a lot of dollars in my limited paypal account and I am unable to withdraw.

I do believe Paypal is credible. Thet are connectsd with banks so this company is really strong. With your complaint I guess there have just been an error with their system. That is all the explanation they will say also. I just dont like the way their customer service handle this kind of mistakes and add up their transaction fees, it is too high even for a minimum transaction.  I suggest switching to something else although many online shops prefer Paypal as payment there are still options there.

Exactly, they charge too much for low amounts transaction and it literally reduces the overall profits in such tiny deals. I live in a country where PayPal is forced to withdraw all of the amount received in a bank account associated with that PayPal account of the user. A credit card is required to send payment to others so it's really messy as compared to that of cryptocurrencies.
Its really complicated and its very hassle to use paypal compared to bitcoin which is really convenient at all and regarding with fees i could say that paypal does really charge to much compared to bitcoin.Paypal isnt a scam but theres a feature on which people do use it to scam people which is the cashback feature.

Paypal is not a scam what it happens is there is no way to get everyone happy, even if 99% of paypal costumers are happy with the service, there is a 1% that is unhappy and very vocal about it, and when you add the internet and money on top of it you have the recipe for some really bad reviews for their service.

Everywhere haters are there, haters gonna hate just like what others are saying. I'm using paypal and I don't have issues with them.

People are the ones who have tough competition who did made their account freeze by paypal accusing them to be scam.

It's a legit service and it was already proven many just hates their fees.

I have had an issue with Paypal and while I was trying to look for a solution on the internet, I came across this website (https://www.consumeraffairs.com/online/paypal_02.html) where everybody is complaining about Paypal. Most of the complains were actually similar to the one that I have. I thought Paypal is a credible company but now I have started feeling worried about my funds stuck in the accounts.
Paypal is reliable company they very strict, so if you won't to get issues with your paypal account you need to learn about their rule, mostly people who their paypal account getting issues because break the paypal rule, and i don't think paypal will scam, because now we have choice if you not comfortable with paypal you can use Bitcoin.

I think the chances are low that PayPal can get into the scam category, since there are a number of users around the world using the service for years, and there are a number of regulatory agencies that certainly have already inspected the service. So if it was a scam, maybe it would not be working until today.
I believe that many users can go through problems though, since with points of centralization, there are also points of failure. The best thing to do in this case is to get the help of the support until they solve your problem.

It's not scam, ok, but their service isn't good anymore, since bitcoin started it's the best option to do online transactions. It's waste of money to use paypal, they take high fees and the service is limited and centralized as you said.
If we can use a good currency decentralized like bitcoin there is no reason to continue using paypal, the only problem are the sites don't accepting it.

I haven't tried to use PayPal but I don't think that they are going to scam their users they might having some trouble or problem with their services, PayPal is already a wide company and there are many people who are using PayPal so that they are having a hard to serve you and response to all of you simultaneously or maybe they are just having a little maintenance ? well I don't know Grin I have some Friend who bought a Laptop using his PayPal so i think the service is normally operating right now .
Paypal has excellent service, they will freeze temporarily until they are verified for every large transactions. you do not have to worry about it, and if the goods do not conform to what you expect, you can use purchase protection.

Giving your paypal email means they have it and can use it for their own scams. They're not going to buy anything or arrange payment or shipping. All they want is the email address.

Craigslist is OK for selling things to people you can meet in person and get cash in hand from, but anyone who wants to use PayPal and needs shipping is clearly not someone living where you ( or the police ) can find them.

They are not going to scam people but the problem is in their services because once you have received big amount money they gonna ask you some verification or it will freeze your account, my first PayPal got limited because I violate some rules (they do not allow currency exchanges) I created new PayPal again and I only use it for buying stuff on internet. So far, I don't have problem in PayPal.

They do not have any problem or trouble with their service but the reality is that they often freeze accounts of their users and do not find any other rule for their doubts and do not pay their users what they freeze from them so people when see heir hard earned money being freeze thing they are as scammers.
