I very much hope for a boom for this ripple. Its a centralized coin so many different bank or companies can use this as any form of online transaction. And in my opinion, i think it is the most famous centralized coin. I even read an article from month ago suspecting that amazon might choose ripples

I think ripple is not the altcoin that will live long. It is centralized, speculation, and ripple does not need a token at all. It can be replaced by some other coin soon.
but ripple gained fast popularity but it can be also a fad that is popular for a while and became dead someday , but if someone will continue the patronage in using this coin it will help a lot to gain more and more and be the one of the good coin someday.

I do not think ripple will become the currency of the future because if banks start adopting a particular cryptocurrency I believe the government and the bank will later centralized it which is not one of the characterister of cryptocurrency.

I do not think that ripple will be universal one, and will be global currency, but it has potential to growth so maybe it is good for investment, in case if you have no much money.

It's hard to say it could happen in the future. whether digital currencies like ripples and others can become a global currency? I'm sure many people disagree with it, and I think that will never happen.
Ripple can only be the future currency if bitcoins and ether is dead. In terms of volume and marketcap, bitcoins and ether is far above ripple hence it can't be the future currency.
If for the ripple may not be able to serve as a global currency because it is still less popular with bitcoin that has a very large interest in the share of developed countries that make ripples become very difficult when will be used as a means of exchange later.
