I don't think the hype is now over. Elon musk may stop tweeting about dogecoin but still there are new news about bitcoin like El Salvador adopting bitcoin where they made it legal tender. Now my guess is that some store now accept bitcoin as one of their mode of payment.

This is a new adoption, a new way of life that will remain as part of our everyday existence so I don't think it is just about hype, crypto is far from being considered as hype, just recently a country has adopted the use of crypto (btc) as their legal tender, this is a revolution that will spread across all countries in years to come, thr perception of seeing it as hype is wrong and should be corrected.

It will be change thru time, as we seen more and more adoptions that happened and there are usages that bring bitcoin closer
to the people, it's wrong to say that it's more on hypes only those non believers have that mentality, but for sure it will be changed
there's no rushing as 10 years passed and still Bitcoin is here to succeed.

This is innovation and most of those who already acknowledge the existence of crypto will benefit a lot.

The cryptocurrency and decentralization movement isn't just an hype. This is a real technology that has been innovating and expanding for some years now. The excitement around new projects may be reducing due to unfavorable market conditions but NFT, Defis, etc provide real life opportunities for people and has made a lot of people's lives better. Cryptocurrency will play a big role in the future of technology

I think this is a boat that is rocked in one direction or the other. Obviously, a lot of money is being made on this.
Now, I am sure, we will receive a lot of FUD and a dump of prices, but after a while another tweet will blow up the crypto market with another rapid growth and burst of activity.

Add to this the China miner ban, and regulatory action against Binance exchange and you'll see why the market hasn't gone up that much within the last 2 months (approximately).

Do you think the crypto hype is over? If not, why?
Currently, cryptocurrencies are poorly controlled by government agencies. Therefore, the actions of the Chinese authorities are aimed at strengthening regulation in this area so that private crypto companies do not interfere with the implementation of the state-owned crypto Yuan (DCEP — Digital Currency Electronic Payment). However, this will not be able to stop the development of crypto technologies around the world.

The Doge trend has ended since last month, that's my personal opinion considering the trend of coin memes that are starting to fade and get distracted with the trend of NFT-based projects, coupled with NFT-based crypto game projects that are now getting more and more. emerging, currently there has been an even dump in almost all crypto assets and this indicates the crypto trend will end, I consider it a new pump indicator that will bring up new ATH in the future, this is the right time to set up a new investment strategy that will make us earn big profits when the crypto trend starts to bounce back.

For some reason, Elon Musk stopped tweeting about DOGE and even Bitcoin, making people lose interest in crypto these days. Add to this the China miner ban, and regulatory action against Binance exchange and you'll see why the market hasn't gone up that much within the last 2 months (approximately). Bitcoin is still struggling to reach a new ATH, while ETH doesn't get past $3k per coin.

Sometimes I wonder if the crypto hype is over. "De-Fi" and NFTs are still a big hit, but interest/demand seems to be slowly declining. I'm guessing the next Bitcoin halving will "revive" the hype. But there's no guarantee this will happen since crypto behaves in many strange and bizarre ways.

Do you think the crypto hype is over? If not, why? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley

For Dogecoin I think it ended last month, now people's focus is on NFT, where many of their favorite projects are released, and have a big effect on the audience, I think the crypto hype will end now, even for bitcoin and Ethereum it's getting more stable and the movement is getting better now, ready to face new ATH in the following months, so it's time to prepare a new pattern in achieving stability for future investments.

The hype will always be there. Since the creation of this thread, just look at how Bitcoin recovered and correct from the bullish hype months ago.

Playing currently at around $45,000 to close $50,000, it's always as ever that no need for any hype for Bitcoin just to reached that floor at any given trend. That Elon Musk thing before just created more awareness to the current hype but even without that happening, we can still see Bitcoin breaching new ATH while in the progress.

Trust the process.
Whenever bitcoin and others drop, we're already thinking that it's the end of the bulls. This is what I've seen from others and also sometimes what I feel.

But it's also true that the hype stays as long as it's staying at that better price.

indeed we admit previously that the crypto hype had made the price of bitcoin continue to rise high in the market, but that doesn't mean hype is the only cause that makes the price of bitcoin go high, in my opinion there are many other factors that can also trigger the price increase and  goes up and the decline in crypto prices is a natural thing and has often happened in the last few years, so when one hype ends of course another hype will reappear later, so I think the crypto hype will never end as long as crypto is still around.

Yeah, i agree with you but i think it will going to over soon if we didn't see any new innovation in the next few months, The last Hype was NFT and it's look like to going over really soon and the market will become stagnant again. From my Perspective The Hype was over for non-crypto or non-tech people but on the other side for us it's just going to continue since there is a lot of potential on the Blockchain Technology.

The hype is over? Nah i think it's just getting started, the only people who would loose interest because Elon Musk stopped tweeting about crypto would be moonboys and all those shitcoin investors who want him to make a tweet about their bag of shitcoin so it can pump then they will dump it on the plebs, personally I think this is just the beginning with El Salvador buying their first bitcoin and installing bitcoin machines all over their country, its safe to say that we're still early remember the calm before the storm, something huge is coming.

I think the hype for cryptocurrencies is not over yet, in fact, cryptocurrencies are increasingly popular and many people are starting to invest in cryptocurrencies, so you can't say that the hype for cryptocurrencies is over just because the market price is going down, because every increase there must be a decrease (correction), so of course right now the price of cryptocurrencies must be going down, because the price of cryptocurrencies has increased very high, but of course in the future the price of cryptocurrencies will increase even higher and many cryptocurrencies will create a new ATH again, so now is your chance to invest in cryptocurrencies at a low price.

I really don't consider it as a hype. These are just market forces working for and against crypto. Any news, any tweet, any information from an individual or a country that has something to do with Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies, that is considered as far as I am concerned, part of the market forces that influence cryptocurrency. So right now the market forces are continuously working to pull prices down so that once the price is right, then the buying will start again.

I think it's not true because there are still many people who are crazy about crypto. Just because some people stop talking about crypto doesn't mean the crypto hype is over. there are some countries that start banning crypto but there are also countries that start accepting crypto and I think that is good for the development of crypto itself. we know that crypto can attracts people to own it and it's good if we can use it well. crypto will continue to evolve with the times and we must be able to follow it well.

The hype will continue as we are an evolving market, there are new projects that are introduced and since the supply is limited, the price would always be volatile as people love to speculate. The more money will enter, the more the market will be volatile, hence the hype will stay and we should accept that already.

The way to earn in crypto is to understand the nature of the market, know how the market will react to every news and speculation.

I guess you're right. The hype will always be there because of the crypto market's volatility. Cryptocurrencies' prices can go up or down making us either rich or poor in an instant. As long as major cryptocurrencies reach new ATHs, the hype won't be going anywhere soon. Right now it's all about "De-Fi" and NFTs. But in the future, it could be another trend as crypto/Blockchain evolves at a very fast pace. What matters is usability above all else. I wouldn't worry about the hype as long as crypto is useful. Just my opinion Smiley

The hype against crypto will definitely continue to happen and it is proven that this year the hype for crypto is quite high and it could be that the hype will start to end if the given price continues to experience a significant decline and if we look deeper. price chart so far Bitcoin is always getting 4th year hype If this holds true for the next few years then it can be said that the hype is over but this is if we look at the chart because of everything that happens in crypto we can't be sure.

Crypto hype will always happen again and again and will not end, it is true that this year there is a lot of crypto hype. Maybe because this year there
was a lot of positive news about crypto, making investors even more enthusiastic about investing in crypto. Crypto hype can also occur due to
manipulation from influencers, so crypto hype will always occur. What we need to do is find out which coins are going to hype, so we can profit from
those coins.
