For some reason, Elon Musk stopped tweeting about DOGE and even Bitcoin, making people lose interest in crypto these days. Add to this the China miner ban, and regulatory action against Binance exchange and you'll see why the market hasn't gone up that much within the last 2 months (approximately). Bitcoin is still struggling to reach a new ATH, while ETH doesn't get past $3k per coin.

Sometimes I wonder if the crypto hype is over. "De-Fi" and NFTs are still a big hit, but interest/demand seems to be slowly declining. I'm guessing the next Bitcoin halving will "revive" the hype. But there's no guarantee this will happen since crypto behaves in many strange and bizarre ways.

Do you think the crypto hype is over? If not, why? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley
I hope the crypto charm will continue in the future.
In my mind, I think cryptocurrency is in a bubble. however, it is very difficult to predict when a bubble in crypto will appear.
And I'm sure the bubble could end, but probably won't, or even worse, in the next few months

It won't be over because they might be on some different roads but as soon as we trend again in social media, they will suddenly give their so-called honest opinion which will storm the crypto market. What I meant by that is when the greatest bull run happens a few months ago, not only in social media but the mainstream media are reporting about the crypto market as well. Now that they are both silent, don't think they will be like that forever because if they find some opportunity to promote whatever coins they want, they won't hesitate to do so. You can use that opportunity or use it as an advantage to start investing in those coins and prepare to let go when the price is falling.

Yes it is true that the crypto market has been on hype for some time. Due to which it could not remain stable for long.  And the full market fell by more than 50%. But now, despite the lack of hype, the market has begun to grow on its own way. Now it looks like the crypto will make a new ATH again and it will be stable

Hmm, I don't understand how you conclude or think that crypto hype is over just because the price doesn't seem to show a great movement recently.

Is this just about Bitcoin reaching new ATH? Is this just about we should see large price movement everyday? Is this just about big people doing some manipulation on the market? Of course, no.

Just be on your usual. Ride the wave, ride the trend, ride the hype, ride the bearish, etc. It doesn't mean these big coins are silent, everything is now over. There's no such thing as continuous hype. It is bound to spoil and the cycle just repeats.

Hypes couldn't last a long time because people believe while some others learn just like what happened to Elon when he hyped Bitcoin and Doge. However, I believe that lots of things could possibly happen in the future. Many could will still be hyped as well as Bitcoin and other top coins. It will be another way to attract users and investors so we should still see it as an advantage.

You guys still check his twitter page?  I don't do that anymore since he's fud about bitcoin, if he stops twitter about coins that's even much better cause whenever he does some people eventually get  rekt, cause his followers take all his tweets as a financial advice and later start crying & begging him to tweet, so that the coin can Atleast come back to their entry price, the crypto hype is just getting started mass adoption is on the way.
I don't but if there are interesting news that involves him and a sign of bullish news, I'm quick to check his page. But if it's just another FUD and there's nothing interesting with his tweets, it's just like a millionaire's and businessman's twitter account.
Those people that takes his advises financially seriously, they don't know who to believe and they don't have a financial expert that gives them advise. So they rely to Elon which makes them their public figure and mentor that's just directing them to the wrong direction.

For me, I don’t think the crypto hype will end since it was introduced to you.  Even if we say you were just carried away because of the tweets that Elon Musk did before, you can just stay.  Maybe you can stop first because of disappointment or because something unexpected didn't happen, you will definitely come back again and again.  Everything that happens in crypto is not just based on the influence of celebrities, or any other factors or issues that come up that may affect the market trend.  Because I look more at the importance or usefulness of the projects that are developed.

I'm sure, next week Ethereum will pass $3K per coin.
Im sure about that dude. Ethereum is almost passing 3k rate and it's unbelievable coz ethereum can recover its price from the bottom in a short time.
It doesn't even need wait until next week for the price of ethereum to surpass 3k again. I think that we may need to put another target for ethereum coz it will be so easy for ethereum to reach such target.
Bitcoin is still growing so fast and i hope that we will see 50k as the next target to be achieved by bitcoin again. We will be mooning again .
You are so sure. I am amazed by your way of thinking.
Ethereum is easily up to $3K at the moment without having to wait for next week as you said, I think a lot of processing was done by Ethereum so it can be what it is today. I'm sure you understand better than me.

Just one more hit on ATH price and the HYPE will be back but who knows this breakout will be fake or no. The mass demand is still under question, so waiting for the sentimental indicator results will show us how much of the total invested money flow came from the smart or dumb side. Dumb money flow will be a loss in the long run, so the market will show us a clear direction soon.

The FUD from one of the most influential individual alive down to the declaration of China to ban any transaction concerning in cryptocurrency didn't stop the hype of cryptocurrency platform in my own opinion. People keep on coming in this platform, more and more get interested to be part of the community. Bearish market will coming and that is inevitable since it is already part of the cycle of the market so I guess there's no any connection between the two negative action that I've mentioned earlier to the bear market or less hype of bitcoin or cryptocurrency today.

Maybe the hype is over now, but it will start again sooner or later, as that happens to the crypto world.
We already saw this from a long time ago and every time the hype is over, people already take their profit and leave the market for a while until the new thing comes again.
But with what happen to bitcoin a few days ago, it seems the market is trying to break the barrier and it proves that the price can increase to $43,400.
And once the bitcoin price can start increasing, the other projects, especially altcoin, will follow behind bitcoin and start increasing.

Looking inside the current market, most alts are moving upward since Bitcoin is still performing.

A lots of opportunities to those who are working with day trading, buy low and sell high with small profits,
maybe we might see more and crypto is not calling out yet.

Speculations and anticipation from people who really aiming for higher profits, if this market continue trying to breakout,
$45K is very possible, then $50K might also on it's way.
This moment gives us a chance to buy low and sell high as the crypto market moves good.
But that does not mean that the crypto market can still be like that because every time the price increases, it will have another time to make a correction.
That's why we always need to analyze and maybe setting the alarm can help us determine the right time to trade.
If the situation can be like this, we will see $45k will break and will still increase to $50k and that means we can make a big profit.

For what reason would you look at a market for the last two months and come to the weird conclusion that the crypto hype is over? We have 116 billion dollar trading volume and are close to 2 trillion dollar overall market capitalization and you conclude that the crypto hype is over? ^^

Sorry, but I feel I can't quite share your opinion. Only because Musk tweets less doesn't mean people are less interested...

A baseless claim.
What made you to assume that people already lost interest in crypto these days?

If anyone finds time to analyze about the defamatory characteristics of bitcoin then definitely will think about investing with it. Hence, we do not Elon Musk to keep tweeting but just talking to our friends and colleagues alone more than enough to keep moving this crypto space.

Crypto space is slowly getting into bullish mode right now and I guess we will see new ATH for most cryptos incoming weeks which may happen without tweets from Elon Musk as well.

I can’t name the previous bull run as the hype. It was an ordinary bullish market, and now it is a bear market. Crypto “winter” was predicted and I wait for it, as I strongly believe that we will see many new valuable projects and tokens, so I will invest in them. And then when the market gets warmer and people invest in Bitcoins and other coins, I will get money from newbies.

It seems that the bulls were able to change the situation in the market to their side. After bitcoin came out of the descending channel, and the price of ETH exceeded 3 thousand dollars, investors and traders again began to greedily buy coins, which entails another price increase.  I think that in the near timing the market will return to bull run again.

There’s no hype on the whole crypto market, the hype only happen on a specific project and with meme token I believe its already done and the hype is on the NFT games now. I see this one as a cycle that will always be part of the market so if the hype on one project was done already, you can expect other project to get hyped and the cycle continues.

Hype always exists, as long as it's fresh and engaging Hype always exists, as long as it's fresh and engaging We have seen Defi and the trend is NFT, NFT gaming play to earn. We will continue to see many more projects in the future being hyped. The cryptocurrency market and the stock market always have a change of the top project codes to invest in.

I don't think Elon Musk has anything to do with people's interest in Crypto lately, in fact bitcoin is getting stronger in position one without any disturbance, while Ethereum is still comfortably in second position until now.

Granted, the crypto hype has started to be abandoned by some, with the current presence of NFT, but there's no compelling reason to say interest or demand seems to be slowly dropping for now.

I guess for crypto hype it's not over for now, it's just that people's interest has decreased towards them, the only step to take is to make new changes, like NFT has done in recent months.
