its really funny while we heard people said crypto hype was over while they see price drop. personally cryptocurrency doesnt need any hype or something else, its about future technology that will bring easinest in our life and demand come by it self when developtment done. alot beginers traders trapped in fomo and hype so they said like this.
mosf of them was beginer traders that need popular figure to shill their project and create hype to attract investors or buyers. but they forget about bitcoin which is since begining never shilled by anyone to make it survive. demand will create itself when dev team able to deliver utility in their ecosystem, so hype was not needed here.

Common reactions do came from those noobs who do easily freak out when they do see some dump or crash and telling that it is over or crypto market is dead and when it recovers then they are simply regretting because
they havent able to accumulate while its still cheap. This market isnt really create for some hype but rather having that real-use case.We dont need hype but rather we do need adoption and recognition for this
market to progress more and as a crypto enthusiast or investor or trader then you should know on when to get in and when to get out on securing your profits.
this noobs shouting price too expensive when they want to buy but when price drop and give them opportunity to buy in dip they said market hype is over. every movement in market make them affraid.

In my opinion it's not over, it's just that it's going through a down phase, because the previous few months it has been on the upswing, and I think this is natural, there will be ups and downs in every market situation.
and q4 my prediction will be the beginning of crypto's rise again.

If it is about Doge, yes it is over enough.
But hype will come up any time when there are some influencing people saying about the coins.
Hype will be new or even something old but being hyped and get higher again.
And now, the hype is on the NFT and game coins.
So, let's it be. we don't know what will be the next hype.

We can't deny that Elon Musk is influencing the market and encourage his followers to invest in Bitcoin. It gives huge hype in the market and we can't deny also that many people are benefiting during that time until the point has come that Elon Musk is trying to manipulate the market. As we know about his intention, we just ignore his tweets and have no interest in him anymore but for sure, they can still make anything he wants in the market as he has the money.
Like or not, this person really can give big influence to the crypto world, moreover with its popularity, influence, followers, and also of course BTC and coins that he and Tesla have.'Although right now, many people have been aware of the hype that he may be rising again, and some people choose not to follow the hype, it will still give little bit infeunce.
And sadly, if he tweets again about the negative side of Bitcoin or tweets FUD about Bitcoin. It will also give bad impact tot eh crypto market, moreover Bitcoin itself.

Why do we need to wait for Elon tweets? I don't think it is really needed. Previously, there were no Elon tweets but there was no problem with people's interest in crypto. If many people are not interested to buy now, it is probably caused by what they already bought in the last few months. I guess most people already have enough coins on their wallets, they are just waiting for the next pump now. So, there is no correlation between people's interest in crypto with Elon's tweets.

Some people didn't know Elon yet discoered and ise BTC. It's nice that Elon put hype in crypto but we know that somehow in the future BTC will be common to everyone, the accessibility it gives as well the convenient and less hassle in doing transaction sooner pr later it will be covered by many who needs it the most. At times where no people said what to do we were able to act and study what we can do to improve pur living.
The participation of Mr. Elon Musk gives huge attention to the community and thinking for a positive impact. yeah, we are not wrong because the market is on the rally after that, the demand increase due to a massive increase of investors.

Well, that is something it really happens when a known personality encourages us. Well, for now, I don't think that Elon Musk is highly needed anymore just to keep the market is bullish, because if we look at the market, apparently, it remains healthy even without him. This means that crypto will have such capabilities.

how many people lose interest when Elon Musk stops tweeting? it may have an influence on crypto because Elon Musk is a person of great influence in various fields. is the crypto hype over? I do not think so. because when something ends there will definitely be something that will start soon. stay relaxed and believe crypto will continue to improve in the future.  Wink

For some reason, Elon Musk stopped tweeting about DOGE and even Bitcoin, making people lose interest in crypto these days.

The crypto hype will never end. There will be pumps from year to year. You just need to study projects that can give a good profit. The market will always move in waves.

In recent times many things happen that impact the market to some extent but this market recovers quickly as well from such negative news. I believe the hype will not over it will be increase year by year in the coming years as we can see the number of crypto users is increasing worldwide. Even you are an experienced person on this forum and I feel you saw many ups and downs of this market and this market has always overcome all the obstacles in their way. I feel nowadays most of the traders or investors not taking Elon seriously so it's a good thing.

Let me start by saying that Elon musk that stopped tweeting about Doge and Bitcoin didn't make people lose interest in crypto, however, I think the correct statement is, Elon Musk stopped tweeting about Doge and that made people to lose interest in Doge alone and this is evidently seen in the price which is struggling. Bitcoin surpassed $50k and that was not because of Elon musk because I don't think he made any tweet which took Bitcoin to such price, thus, this confirms my earlier statement.
People have been developing interest in Bitcoin before he started tweeting and that is because Bitcoin is highly attractive, and currently countries are adopting it and legalising it, thus I can say, the hype is not yet over.
What about Ethereum, the hype within it alone is huge which means it will have a very successful progress year ahead. There are many hype in this space now, and every blockchain platform is trying their best to make the best use of it, while even contributing in increasing the crypto hype and attention.
market enthusiasm grew tremendously this year. adoption is increasing and even coins from new projects are also gaining momentum for this year.
everything has its own momentum. like dogecoin with Elon, but overall. what Elon is doing really makes a lot of people interested. although now he's not tweeting, I guess it's only temporary. we will see him coming again. he's not done with the meme he made.
all this is not over yet and we will see it happen again in future market developments. we just need to prepare it.

For some reason, Elon Musk stopped tweeting about DOGE and even Bitcoin, making people lose interest in crypto these days. Add to this the China miner ban, and regulatory action against Binance exchange and you'll see why the market hasn't gone up that much within the last 2 months (approximately). Bitcoin is still struggling to reach a new ATH, while ETH doesn't get past $3k per coin.

Sometimes I wonder if the crypto hype is over. "De-Fi" and NFTs are still a big hit, but interest/demand seems to be slowly declining. I'm guessing the next Bitcoin halving will "revive" the hype. But there's no guarantee this will happen since crypto behaves in many strange and bizarre ways.

Do you think the crypto hype is over? If not, why? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley
Nothing is over dude. I believe crypto is bigger than that to be judged based on Elon's tweets. For me nothing is over and I try to keep myself always prepared. Took this chance to fill up my bags with my top favourite altcoins like ETH, LTC, ADA, SOL & XRP. I also allocated some leftover funds to XSN - a very undervalued low cap coin that has a big moonshot potential.

Hype will never be over  for crypto. This is just the start of something much greater.
And the hype will never happen in all the cryptocurrencies in the crypto space because it is a thing that is intentionally created on certain coins only so not many coins experience it at different times.
because each project has a different development and update. community and market support are also different of course the hype that occurs in the market is for those who get fast and strong support from the community and market.
but sometimes the role of bitcoin is also important to support the hype that can trigger a longer rally for some assets.

As we can see from the history, crypto hype is seasonal. In a year there must be some big events that make the name of crypto currency going up to the surface. But this year is quite special i think, there are a lot of people jump to invest in crypto unlike the other previous year.
I think it also because the pandemic effect where people are staying home a lot and looking for something interesting on the internet.
So the hype is maybe diminishing a bit but i'm sure it's not over yet.

You got a point.  Though the hype in Cryptocurrency isn't seasonal, it is triggered with the crypto related projects that will potentially give the investors a high risk high return kind of investments.
One of the past example is the rise of ICO in 2017 till 2018. People was crazy about investing into several projects back in 2017 thus causing the pump in crypto market cap until scammers joined the hype and stole thousands if not millions of dollars coming from fake projects.
Today, we have NFT digital arts and blockchain games. Some of these games are even sketchy so I guess scammers are unto this hype again.

Bitcoin has made individuals lost interest in digital currencies nowadays, and surprisingly the mining issues from china is really going to end up being more sure than negative IMO since we get what was going on when the majority of the diggers were situated in china. Loom around you and watch how tremendous financial backers from other monetary stages are hurrying to Cryptocurrency, that is on the grounds that they all see future and need to be among the progressive individuals who change the monetary cycle.

I think that's just happening with Elon Musk trend. He made a clear manipulation of bitcoin, making almost the entire cryptocurrency community start to no longer believe in it. Now, we've rarely seen Elon Musk tweets become hyped. It's because of his own actions.
Elon Musk has great power, although many have left him, but in fact there are still many followers, and it is proven that he can move the market even though at this time his strength may be reduced. therefore we must be wise in making choices, as long as we are on major coins I think it doesn't matter we will do anything, as long as we are patient to wait for profit to come

How could it end? As long as the market still has benefits, it is impossible to prevent capital from joining in the fun.
This market is getting bigger and bigger, more and more capital, more and more retail investors,
Finish? impossible.
I think that in my lifetime, the cryptocurrency war will not end.
