At present, especially in developing countries, the proportion of people who know and understand cryptocurrency is less than 5% of the population. Governments need to be cautious about cryptocurrency regulations. They forbid cryptocurrency because they did not want the situation to be out of control

What is the definition of the government? who is the government? In my opinion, governments are no more than a system enforced onto its citizens. The highest government official is no more than a regular citizen when s/he is off duty. so we should never be afraid of the government which is no more than a system that we helped create and continuously maintaining.
If a government is against the financial prosperity of its citizens, then that system should be deemed to be obsolete.

I believe that the government is trying to protect against the risks of venture investment, because in this market a lot of scams, respectively, you need to have a way to protect ordinary citizens from the risks

I guess this is a reason why citizens should be afraid of the government, since they are just an ordinary citizen. There are a lot of government that wants to make the country develop, to improve the state of lives of the people there but there are things that is needed to be sacrificed and other lives of people is not suffice to do that. I don't think that it is happening but what if it is?

I think governments always want to do the best for their people, perhaps Vietnam is a special case, but I love the country and people here. Vietnamese people should receive more help from the international community

In Vietnam, for example, most government budgets are from people's taxes. If people invest in electronic money, the government will not be able to collect taxes, the government is only interested in money. The less taxes they earn from people, they will not accept it

What you share may be true only in developing countries, but when governments have specific regulations and people agree with them, it will open a new direction for the economy of that country

Many people say the government is not interested in cryptocurrency. Many people think the government has prohibit
crypto to protect investors from risks. Maybe in your country, that's true. But in some countries, especially developing countries, the government just wants to rob your assets. They rob publicly, lawfully and as much as possible. they are really bandits.I'm not afraid what they do. Because we have many ways to fight them. But this world is not as simple as you think. They can kill you if you are demonstrating.
You can ask any vietnamese that : Do you support your government ? I bet 99% answer is never. 1% remaining I'm sure they are goverment employee or their family. Wink

I dont think that the government will kill anyone who are involved in the cryptocurrency. And besides, they could not track who those people are into cryptocurrency and also the coins that you have. As long as your private keys are in a safe place, there is no worry if this will be stolen or not.
but if goverment legalize crypto market and crypto exchange, they are allowed to access data of exchange member.so they able to know what kind coins or tokens that we have.

Well, in my county government is starting to accept all the blockchain world and start to understand and accepting the crypto world. They have not accepted (but for that matter didn't forbidden either) btc, but they started a blockchain project with their own coin. National companies such as your electricity one are starting to embrace blockchain as well.
Maybe who knows if some countries start to use successfully other will follow.

Killing citizens who demonstrate this is very cruel, I do not know the conditions in your country, but indeed sometimes the regulations issued by the government can be burdensome for its citizens and that is also a natural thing, it's just that I don't bother too much and focus on what I do so not to be burdened by the regulation.

In some point i think that the government is really scared of bitcoin/cryptocurrency is being implemented in some countries and also government want to influence the economy because they gain benefits from it. for me goverment is also considering the factor that most people dont understand or do not have any knowledge about it. Also cryptocurrency has not been classified yet as the actual tender by many countries. So for me i really believed that government is really scared of cryptocurrency. They my also consider that cryptocurrency may loses its value since the pricing or the value of it is not stable.

As there are many governments they constantly control the BTC, however it is their fault, BTC brings many benefits in our lives.

The government know that bitcoin and cryptocurrency have big impact on the people's lives. They wanted to control it so that they can collect taxes from it as possible as it seems. But since it is difficult for them to trace who these people are in cryptocurrency, so they just want the cryptocurrency to be banned in their country. But of course it depends on the government.

Most likely, governments are not afraid, because they are interested in improving their economies with the help of a blockchain.

I don't think so because in my country not really supported crypto or promote it by their self but in a simple way of living we crypto hunters did not touch by government people buy using bitcoin or such digital money from paying or buying something. government will against it if there are government people lose their money in crypto so they will fight and banned it in their country. that's my only understanding.

i really dont know much about vietnam, but is vietnam a democratic nation? because if it is then it will be unconstitutional to kill protesters, as for government involvement in crypto, i dont think the government are scared, they just want to protect the interest of their citizens, they dont really trust the decentralized nature of crypto currency, so i think they are trying to regulate the activities of crypto  currency in order to protect the interest of their citizens. And with a secured wallet, i dont think any government officials can steal your assets.
