That is right. If you are lucky, earning money out of your having fun is just an additional and not the main goal. As human, we are really greedy but we have our brains to control ourselves so better stick to what you are thinking than what you are feeling since that would be the reason why you will be losing a lot of money.

Gambling for me is my second priority to do after my regular job as I make money from it but I know I have a job as well so I only gamble when getting free so let’s see if it make me rich someday or not.

Yes all players have some different purposes of playing gambling but also we have same perspective and that is to win money or earn.
If a player who really needed money can enjoy too or having fun but their priorities is to win not to lose their money.
But for the others who purpose only is to having fun is for sure they have a lot of money to use.

For me, there are a lot of them yes but the mainfocus here is the money. When they say have fun, I don't think that they are not also thinking about money. Subconciously, they want to also earn money themselves. I am a gambler, and I know a lot of gamblers here that just bet when there is an event close to us. When they lost, they lost but when they win, they use all of that winnings to drink alcohol.

There's so much fun in winning, but when we think of having fun, it means we are not so focus with winning and we don't gamble regularly.
When we gamble for fun, we just play with a limited bankroll and we stop when we lose and we can easily move on unlike those people who gamble for a living where they are treating what they are doing like a job or like owning a business when they need to be profitable.

why would one person just throw his money for nothing?

i knew some people that spend big in gambling and did not feel bad but they tend to have some fun or to be popular in eyes of others but yet there is a reason and not just throwing money out for nothing.

i think he means to say that in gambling nobody is sure to win money, as before gambling there is no certainty that the money you are throwing whether come back or not, whether the money will return with profit or you will lose it as a whole.
talking about those people who dare to throw money without any hesitation, they actually know their budget and they know how to handle the situation if they lose.

gambling will indeed focus on money, but the advantage exists between home and gamblers and I believe this. then from if I play, then I will look for a friendly place, especially for houses that still maintain the gambling algorithm, because they get benefits in the long run whereas we only look for short-term profits.
