Some gamblers are playing for the hope of doubling their capital because they believe its the easy way to do it. Yes its not right and risky but we cant coerce others to not gamble for that reason. It should be for entertainment or as pass time but it is also tempting to play if you have the mindset of earning because you can possibly grow your money if you happen to be lucky.

Exactly. When you try to make good money with gambling it's not fun anymore, it's work. It's a hard job, and unlike other jobs, it's rarely rewarding. So, why ruin what can be a good entertainment by making a hard job out of it, especially when you are more likely to lose, not to earn, money as a result?

Actually almost all people are gaming to make money and only few are gambling to have fun if we are getting an opportunity to get profit from gambling then why would anyone use it only for enjoying time. So yeah gambling should be use as a job to make money but not the main source of income. I personally use gambling to get some extra income for my life and the best way to enjoy my free time as well.

I do not treat gambling as a job because of the risks, I treat is seriously but I do not see it as a job. I always having fun with gambling not because I won but because of the stress relieving pleasure that I keep getting to it. I'm keep having fun in both losing and winning streak and for me it is okay because I only allocating the excess money that I have. We should enjoy what we are doing not just because we are earning money, it is important to enjoy in order for us to handle the risks carefully.

Yep, I can agree with you. Most people say the same as you, they think gambling isn't for earning money but having fun or entertainment. Thousands of dollars isnt that big a deal to some people, its all relative. People make more costly decisions just in their normal business or housekeeping then the thousand they might lose on the tables. Most common way I see people throwing away money would be just for the sake of convenience or cars is a common way to overspend on something that isnt required over basic requirements. Its worth writing down, you can lose a hell of alot of money in life by not taking a risk by not going for a job you know you are capable of and so on and I would relate that to gambling at least a little.
Someone who appears to risk alot on gambling but avoids waste elsewhere isnt going that far out, depends how smart they manage to play it I guess.

Or if we can win, we only win small money, and that can make us keep playing gambling, although we know about the risk of playing gambling. Most games are built in a way that playing them without money would be boring and would make no sense. Take dice or slots. Would you keep rolling for free? You'd get bored after a few minutes and leave.

There are some games people play for free and sports betting can be very entertaining even when the stakes are low but the majorirty of gamblers play and will continue to play for money.

Lets face it. Even those who are gambling just for fun sees gambling too as their way to get money. Its just that it is not their main priority why they are gambling in the first place. We all want money but if you have many ways to earn it other than gambling then who cares if you loses on it.

Probably for some, it isn't a waste of time if they gamble and they don't want to make money out of it. Its just, it isn't the one they are thinking although winning gambling is considered a bonus for them. Anyway, there are other things that we can do rather than spending money in gambling but if that is how you live and as long as you're happy with what you are doing then just continue to do it

Why would anyone gamble to lose? Even while having some fun you should basically be doing it with periodically profiting, not losing all the time, overall you might be losing and that is fine but you gotta have winning days to make it all worthwhile otherwise you will stop gambling eventually if you only end up losing each time.

We have no gamble that does not have to be money. That's why it's called gambling because it has money. Likely, when we gamble we think of winning, how dare we lose? Why are we still playing when we know we can lose? Better not just gamble. If the job is just fun, there are many other things to do and enjoy. But I do think that gambling is a very different kind of gamble so we can't blame them for what they choose.
