For me gambling's main purpose is "for fun" but unlike any other games or rounds, it is more risky because gambling can make us earn or lose real money. In that case there are people that depend earning money through gambling. Well if you're lucky then it is fine. Gambling is not bad. The fact is just, there are people who cannot control themselves so the image of gambling was affected.
Well gambling to be honest is an expensive find of fun. I mean, It could be minimize by going out to the sports bar bet with a minimum entry bet, then you could cheer all the way you want for your team with a beer on your hand. Then I can say, that gambling method is a fun stuff lol.
But, when you're gambling with a massive thousands of dollars, then that ain't fun anymore lol, that's some serious business right there. There are actually a lot of choices for pleasure during your free, but gambling ain't just about it, It's about money before leisure.
Exactly. When you try to make good money with gambling it's not fun anymore, it's work. It's a hard job, and unlike other jobs, it's rarely rewarding. So, why ruin what can be a good entertainment by making a hard job out of it, especially when you are more likely to lose, not to earn, money as a result?
We people are different and maybe we are not on the same level or status. I do not have plenty of money that is why I started my statement "
For me". I can't afford to put big amount of money in gambling. Even losing a hundred pesos makes me sad. I only gamble if I have extra time and money. I do not take away the side that some really makes money through it because working in a real job is harder than making one bet which can double or triple your money. But we are not all rich. I am just small gambler that gamble when I am bored then stopped when I do not have money or if I am done. If I win, then so be it. I have money.
For me gambling is fun too, and I think it should be so for everyone, rich or poor, doesn't matter. Rich people make higher bets, and when it's sad for you(and for me as well) to lose $4, for them it can be $400 or $4k, but, trust me, they are not happy about losing it. And, unlike you and me, they can't be satisfied with small wins, so even if they gamble for entertainment they make higher bets, and, subsequently, lose higher amounts. Don't think they are in better position. They are not. Although it's easier for them to win $100 than for the people with small bankrolls, winning $100 doesn't make them happy.
No one should try to double or triple an amount that is significant for them, because it's the golden rule of gambling: "Never put money you can't afford to lose at risk."
