None of the nuclear powers can be invaded. Intervening in Ukraine is one thing and invading Russia is another. If the UK and US send their troops to Ukraine, it will not necessarily start the WW3. On the other hand, if they send their troops to invade Russia, it will definitely signal the start of WW3 and MAD. Russia will definitely use some of its 10,000 nuclear war heads and half the world will turn to radio-active waste land.

As we are approaching Russian Duma Elections on September 16, 2016 and US Presidential Elections in November 2016, the provocations of various sorts will be on the rise. Obama may want to but can’t send troops to Ukraine for much more serious reasons than the lame conclusions drawn in Greenwald’s article. Namely, by doing so:

1.  Obama would have started hot WWIII, and what a gigantic, non-removable blemish it would be for Obama’s already tarnished ‘legacy’!

2. US would lose all of its European allies, including Merkel and Hollande, in one fell swoop, should US cross that line.

3. This may signal an uprising within the thinking and sane parts of the US military – not those crazed ‘Russians are coming’ US military, whose actions we are sometimes observing.

In his article Orlov concludes that the United States is a dead nation, still walking, but no longer a uni-power. I agree with Orlov that US weapon systems are more focused on profits than on effectiveness and that Russia has superior weapons and a superior cause based on protection rather than dominance. However, in his assessment of the possibility of nuclear war, I think that Orlov under-appreciates the commitment of Washington's Neoconservatives to US world hegemony and the recklessness of the Neoconservatives and Hillary Clinton. Washington is incensed that Russia (and China) dare to stand up to Washington, and this anger crowds out judgment.

It seems odd that it looks like everyone is up against Russia.  I have this implication that Russia is such a country to look at in terms of war because they are a strong country.  They also have advanced machinery and they have well trained military.  If the west would invade Russia it would be difficult for them since Russia have a great population and such a big country next to China I think.  It would be really difficult.  Hope that there will be no invading again since we all live in a times where no one wants crime.

If you think of countries as you think of business you will see that getting your competition out of the market makes perfect sense. While this approach may seem ruthless is the only way in which I interpret this info.

These governments do not like each other, but for what reason?    Is it business as usual or do they have personal gains?  Average Russian or French live won't get better from another war.

They are feeling the beginning of an end of the failed Western globalist model and they are ready to bite to death in order to preserve their miserable existence.
