Very soon it will be too late to start buying altcoins, every single altcoins in the market are all making a jump and top altcoins are growing faster, if you aren't buying while they are very cheap it will be too late sooner than you expected
I dont really think its matters what time you are buying altcoins, I think its about what altcoins you are buying. There are a lot of altcoins which are very cheap right now, and you can actually buy them but the problem is are they stable enough to stand out in the future. It could always be the right time, or not depending on the coins you buy.
Every altcoin could potentially deliver a reward to us who take the risk on investing. Your question should be answered by you as an investor as you are the one who will make a decision.
We are in the crypto world where everything are risky, even bitcoin is risky so we have to be careful.
However, in altcoins in general, there are still chances that it will again rise in the future as it cannot be bitcoin alone that will grow and survive.
It might take time but buying when the price is very cheap seems the right timing to do so.

seeing the current Altcoin market condition, of course many people will buy Alts before the price it goes up high and I think the right time to buy Alts is when the price goes down. but if someone buys Altcoin on at this time that's it's also not a problem because the profits will to get are still keep to large. it's still not too late to buy Alts because Bull Run is still ongoing. so, what are you waiting for.
yes, when all the prices of altcoin go down in 2018, then it is the right time to buy altcoin, but now it's not too late to buy and invest in altcoin, because altcoin prices haven't risen very high, so when the price of altcoin will start to rise very high, then we will definitely get a very big profit.
They right time to buy any coin is when they lose value so as to acquire good quantities of the coin, mind you research is a must to avoid picking pump and dump projects or scam coins, also know that investing in altcoins is more risky than investing in bitcoin
It is getting a big profit that makes us buy altcoins. But you need to leave part of the Deposit in bitcoin. This part of bitcoin should give you confidence in your future. Altcoins do not have such strong growth yet, so now is the time to buy them.
In as much as I don't hype Altcoins the way I do about Bitcoin, I do say its best to buy your altcoins now. The prices are low, and there could be an increase in the future. Especially where there is a widespread of digital currency. While you are buying shy away from shit coins, and remember less is more. It's best to hold few coins that a lot of shitcoins.
Due to the market situation many people will not buy altcoins just for holding sakes even though it depends on the type of coin one is buying .Some coins still try to strive no matter how bad the market is bad .If one is really wise to buy the right altcoins then one can invest at any time.

I think there is never a bad time to buy any altcoins, but in this case should be good coins not those flocking around with no value. In addition, the choice or decision towards buying any altcoins should be in what the person really wants and expects. Study the team to know if they have concrete plans as well as the exchange the coin is listed on.
More precisely, altcoins are suitable for purchase at all times when we are present and observed in the market but we cannot randomly select those altcoins, need analysis, finding the necessary and sufficient conditions because investors' thoughts and preferences are different all the time, sometimes the top altcoins will get more attention but sometimes, altcoins that are below or very low on CMC will be stronger. Need to read such information through charts to choose some ideal altcoins, no altcoin is always good, no altcoin is always bad, over time, all will change I would say until mid-march you can trade crypto, but sell them before April, as bitcoin halving is in April and bitcoin is going to pump. And its trend when there is a pump in BTC other crypto values drops.
Exactly, I agree from now altcoins start to pumpming whales or HODLER will try to convert their most of the portfolio in to Bitcoin and again will be looking for hard time for altcoins and then they will be fill their bags with potential coins. This is the cycle of making money for wise traders/investors.

Some Altcoins that are pumping are indeed very suitable for short-term trading, but if you choose a large Altcoin like ETH, LTC or BNB then it's very suitable for long-term investment. And for large coins whenever you can buy it, because they always have a high volume on each Exchange.

It is true that right now we are hard to believe in altcoins since most of them have not really good performance. But trust me that two altcoins (ETH and XRP) are always good to invest. These coins commonly follow the trends in Bitcoin. So, if this year or in 2021, the Bitcoin will have a great season, I am pretty sure that ETH & XRP will probably have a good season as well.
I think the success of these two coins is absolutely independent of each other.It will all depend on what kind of benefit they can bring to people in the end.

I can personally say that as a guy who bought into some alts at what I THOUGHT was a good buy. For example XRP at $1, which was less than 30% of the ATH. And I also even got into something called Elastic also at 50% of ATH.
I actually timed my purchases of alts thinking I bought at the dip.
Guess what. Look up where Elastic and Ripple are today.

I agree with the statement that states that there is no bad time to buy altcoin, it's the same as buying bitcoin. it's just that, we need to choose the altcoin that we will hold because we know that not all altcoin has good quality. however, I only recommend choosing altcoin at the top level. it's like the top 10 altcoins, or altcoins that you know are developing. 
If you think you can find that "right" altcoin, it is always the right time to invest for it, yet it is really hard to find that right coin.

Historically speaking, on every single day there is one coin that has the most profitable one that increases insanely high, even one horrible days there are ones that make 20%+ profits, which means it is always the time to invest into altcoins as long as you find the correct one that will make that jump that day.
I personally feel like right now is a great time for accumulation and not going all in, I would buy small by small every week on the coins I personally like, which goes to show maybe it will go up or down but I would increase my numbers slowly.

There is going to be a dump before bull runs arrive. You can mark my words. This is the usual case with each of the cryptocurrency markets. As far as I have noticed, I have always seen a dump anytime a pump is going to occur and that is the point where I buy my coins. This might even be the point where you or OP can make purchases.just buy some altcoins that really have a good potential in the future.
Considering the one hour graph for bitcoins, the graph might be somewhat similar to the current price for few days and then it might experience a dump followed by pump. That dump is what I am waiting for to buy my coins. You should try to find such specific dump for yourself because these dumps and pumps can actually make us earn decent amount just in few hours or maybe in few days.
