The best way to avoid stressing over trading is by automating it. You do all the thinking and creative process while designing and tuning a strategy and then simply let the bot execute, while you check it out every once in a while. There are no surprises. You take a position when you said you would. You stop when you said you would stop. You take profit when you said you would. Zero emotions. The whole logic is pre-processed and decided in advance, after careful thinking, backtesting and paper trading for as long as necessary before committing real cash.

I'm using the tool we just pre-released, the Superalgos Desktop App, an open-source, free tool built for non-coders to automate their strategies.

If you choose to become a day trader, you have to live based on its requirement.

Personally, I don't choose day trading as I have a day job and that hinders me to fully focus on day trading, it's really time consuming and I cannot do both effectively, just like your recommendation, I just trade by buying at a specific price and just put a sell order at a specific amount, it doesn't matter when it will hit but stop loss is very important for me.
for those who work, I think doing a day trader is a bad idea. it makes our thinking divided in two. in this case, I also choose to hold the potential coins and wait for the right price by selling it. this can make me focus on my work.

however, trading will stress us when our strategies and speculations do not meet our expectations. because of that, having a job is a good thing to cover it. but, when our strategy and speculation are correct, it will be fun. so, fun, or stress, it depends on the situation.

It can be frustrating and stressful most of the time. Important things is, in my opinion using right tools and trading bots can increase your chance of winning in a big way. In this context, I believe trading bots and the tools that it offers can be a good way to tackle with stress.

Trading become stressful only if you are control by your emotions. This things was usually happened when some of the traders face losses in the actual trade, but if you are a positive thinker and know the proper way of trading for sure you won't become stressful in the end.

I am trying to set my time and not to look to charts every 5 minutes. I prefer to invest into longer terms to keep my cool.
At first it was very stressful, but after setting everything in order now is OK Smiley

Take a break for a while like 3 to 6 months during that time read some old trading books most preferably Physcholo based books like Disciple Trader Etc. I believe the more we learn, more we earn.

But at least taking time to rest is very important, no matter you get a profit or a loss in trade because if done continuously it will definitely create stress. So, taking another time to take a vacation or just resting is an important part as well and before making that decision so as not to leave too much emptiness then making short-term investments will be a good choice.

Agreed. There is no point to trade just for the sake of doing it. If you think things are not happening the way you want them to, it is better to take a break. But then, how do we know that this is the perfect point to put a pause?

The only way to relieve stress due to trading is to relax, disconnect and abandon operations for a few hours at least because continuing to trade can influence potential losses, The best thing is to be distracted and not make mistakes that we will surely regret, another option is to take a momentary vacation when we start to feel that the stress is beginning to affect our operations.
Nice advice and to add to what @Aaronpp has said continuous trading after making profits some time do wearing the mind and makes you taking investment decisions that you will not make if you are in your rightful mind. Remember making wrong investment and trading decisions may lead to unexpected loses.

It was much more stressful at the begininig, couple of years ago when I didn't have so much knowledge and experience. Now it's lot easier, with time you learn how to control your emotions and stress. Also, I have much more confidence in my decisions and that also diminsh the stess.
It's very important that you know what are you doing, that you are certain in your decision and that you have back up plan. Thus you will control stress easier.

Same. When i started i was unsure in my actions and scared af.I think that only years of experience will make you more stable and confident.
I very much understand what you are talking about, but even despite the long term of my activity, the fears of my trade still remain.  The fact is that if several years ago I did not have experience in trading at all, now I am suffering from a poor choice of my assets.  All these coins with the help of which I traded were not promising.  Apparently I have even less experience than I could imagine.

Trading is stressful for most. But stress needs to be dealt with.
Making a plan before buying a coin helps me with this. Next, I just follow the plan. It is also necessary to constantly work on yourself and on your psychological state. And don't forget to relax!

I believe it is!

What do you do to relief trading stress? Do you have any alternatives?

As for me I stopped trading for 3 months and play blockchain games. Now I feel myself better!

UPD #1

Some people asked about blockchain games and how to find them. so I've made this list of games https://www.producthunt.com/@house_lama/collections/blockchain-games

UPD #2

There is a good blockchain shooter War Field. it’s 100% not scam so I can send it here. you can read details about this game here (I don’t send direct link to their website not to make them advertisement) https://gameunculus.io/blog/96

Trading for me actually was giving me a relief and relaxation, because you will only read the graph, set the price for selling and buying then,
you will wait a little longer because for this action I do believed right timing for buying and selling is the key for us to earn more a lot.

Yes, it somehow makes my stomach upset and not even touch my food. I follow some rules to relieve my stress, first, I remove myself from watching the drastic movement of cryptos, second, I find someplace to meet a new friend or learn new things, then lastly, I condition my mind.

Perhaps a professional trader works without stressful situations, because all his activities have already been worked out and adjusted.  He can intuitively determine and predict the further development of events on the exchange.  In turn, I always experience inconvenience when I work with daily trading.  Long-term trading is much better for me.

For me, it is not stressful to read the price action and analyze the given trading data. If the trading is the main job then having stress is understandable but part-time traders shouldn't feel the same emotions due to the low expectations. Vision is a fundamental reason why traders plan their trades and trade their plan.

It made me stressful once my asset didn't gain a better price during my course of trading activities. Most specially those crucial and difficult times of taking a cheaper order value, and you needed to grab in order acquire profit. You'll be stressed once you tend to panic for sudden price crashing that cannot be stopped due to market trend.

No it is not because I do not force myself to do trading regularly, I do trade whenever I wish only. I'm not forcing myself to make money from trading as it is just like a side hobby for me. I'm a type of long term trader so I will only buy and sell when I really believe with the coins. Otherwise I will just keep on buying bitcoin small by small amount, spend few percent of my salary to buy bitcoin for long term purpose but I will sell when there is a good price jump.
