Yes it really is, wallet security is important because it shows how you will protect your digital wallet from hackers or people that have bad motives to it. Turning it on will make your wallet more difficult to hack and you can recover your wallet incase you lost your device. It may be a hassle to do but it is a big help to prevent your wallet being emptied without your permission.

Security is important in the cyberworld because you don't know who or when hackers will attempt to invade your privacy and stole something important from you.

It is definitely the main reason for using wallet. Because there are hackers who can even steal exchanges money. Anyway, you should give priority to offline wallets, then 90 percent of your money is secured.

Hardware wallet or offline wallet is best option to secure our coin and token. Hackers have many ways to stole our money and i think we should carefull with our private key and before visiting website. Always check the certificate of website and the security
double checking  when we access our wallet is obligation in order to avoid hacker attack our wallet, they could infiltrate the system and finally steal our balance.
Yeah make sure that you are access the right online wallet which is true. sometimes there are lots of incoming letters to your inbox mail. not from wallet sites but from hackers. they send letters containing links from their replica sites. this is called phishing. if you are not observant you might be fooled and could have all your money stolen by them

Everything can be stolen when our smartphone is in handyman service, weaknesses occur when we cannot change our private key !! this is very detrimental to erc-20 asset users, but in this case a complicated wallet security system in the exchange market is still the best choice.

of course it is very important, moreover it is related to the assets you have, which of course you also do not want to lose the hard work you have done lost quickly

In my own opinion, yes it was very important because you need to have a good security in order not to get hacked so choose a wallet that has good reputation to be secured.

Yes it is important to secure our accounts to those scammers and hackers . Once your account is less secure or open in information they are chance to steal you details and may stole your bitcoin savings from  your wallet.
Wallet security is really important, so if you want to avoid theft and  be hacked all you need is to find a good wallet that has a good security feature that hackers will have difficulties in stealing all of your holdings.

I agree with you, also we need to be extra careful with our wallets and devices that accessing our wallets, we need to avoid sites and download apps that is not safe.
I recommend using a different device for that. One device (preferably a clean Windows with a good antivirus) for your bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. This will serve as your wallet and this has to be extra secure and clean. You shouldn't install anything but Electrum. Another device for work stuff. It will be connected to the Internet a lot and will have access to your secondary wallets. Third is just a cheap netbook for downloading, torrenting, and pretty much just surfing the net that might potentially be unsafe. But all of this can be squeezed in one device when you have are running Linux. I personally recommend Ubuntu as they have a good community, lots of tutorials, plus there's an IRC for Ubuntu where some experts hang out to help others.

There's only 2% of Linux users in the whole world so it's quite unlikely that hackers will be focusing on making a virus dedicated for Linux users. It's believed to be the most secure operating system. It's not just about the wallet. It's also about the Operating System that you are running, the data that you get from the Internet (from downloading), and how cautious you are overall. If you're interested in installing Ubuntu, I recommend checking the following links:
*/r/Ubuntu
*Ubuntu: A Beginner’s Guide (MakeUseOf)
*Installing Ubuntu (from Ubuntu website)

There's also a book of Ubuntu Linux for Dummies available on Amazon. You can use purse.io to pay directly with Bitcoins or Bitcoin Cash and even receive a 15%+ discount.

Maintaining wallet security is very important, especially avoiding theft. There are many things we can do, such as securing our e-mail account by creating unique and powerful passwords, installing 2-step verification (for example: google authenticator), maintaining and back-up private key, if available, use the SMS verification code, and also does not store bitcoin on a web exchange.

So true. You need to take more safety measures so that you can avoid losing your coins. Today more people or thiefs wanted to rob wallets because of the potential of growing of bitcoin. That is why you need to be smart enough in keeping your wallet. There are lot of thing to do it, and do it properly.

even though it's not 100% but it's still the best, especially blockchain wallets with various levels of security.

Less things are still valid for exchange wallets because they are not responsible for transactions entering the ICO, but they cannot help anything if the exchange of their Market system experiences problems or even other large cases.

I hope there is a wallet that is truly capable of being fully responsible despite additional costs, but until now I have not found it.

I once read for security wallet,
this is just for discussion how to secure the wallet. I do not think there is a security system and there will be no theft in the wallet.

If you choose your wallet or phone software, you need to be extra careful! Remember that bitcoins are stored inside your device. If your computer or phone breaks down, your bitcoin is gone too! Thieves can also take your bitcoin if it gets access. Consider the following tips to avoid losses:

Perform regular backups regularly
Save the backup on another device like in flash or another computer.
Use the encryption feature
With encryption, each transaction requires a login with a password. This prevents thieves who manage to gain access to your computer.
Do not forget the password
Losing a password equals losing your money! Wallet does not provide a password forgot feature.

Do you guys have a better idea to avoid theft in the wallet?

These all are nice and good steps to keep our wallets secure, because as you mentioned that our transactions and all crucial information about our accounts  is stored on our device such smartphone, PC or other devices. Therefore we need to back up and save the crucial information in other devices to anticipate unexpected thing happen. Then, we should keep all save not sharing to any one else.

I usually used 2F google authenticator on my accounts if it is available for more security aside from keeping safe with private keys. Sometimes google accounts which being used for wallet broken also which let the hackers get in on your account. Safety is the first priority when you are keeping amount of money. Better to manage them when you got multiple accounts and check it everyday to monitor that nothing wrong with it.

actually, most importantly is the keys or the passwords and not the device, you can log in any device all you want as long as you know your access key and passwords, it should be guarded with utmost security features and regularly changing your security pins and keys, and yes wallets are important when you are in crypto trading, would you want it to directly deposited in your bank accounts? im sure you already know that it is impossible, you cannot get your crypto or exchange it to fiats without having any wallet
to keep that there are some that must be considered, of course it has often been discussed. we can use the additional security available in exchange, so that one step is safer
