The team is solid and community nice. However it's not very well known and the media focus is on BTC/ETH these days. My prediction is a slow rise in popularity with a slight bump after ETH miners move to new coins. I see ZEC being sold around 350-400 USD by the end of the year. That's my perspective anyways. I wish there were more places that would support z-addresses. I also hope there will be more places where I can spent the coin directly, otherwise this will be just investing thing, which I'm not that interested in. Some life to the coin would be nice.

I would rather invest in XMR. ZEC isn't really anon, bleeding edge privacy tech has a lot of risks, 20% goes to devs, private investors funding...
I personally like other privacy coins better. I like NavCoin and Verge more than ZCash but it's a matter of personal preference. I'd also consider buying ZClassic. It has some nice forks happening from time to time wich make the price bounce up significantly.
