As it stand now in this season, I think things will change in this season but it will be difficult for Napoli to miss this trophy because they have won their two matches to embraced 6 points which they will still win the next match to be among the teams that is toping the Italian league table. When I checked the Serie A standings, everything looked normal, but until I scrolled down, one big team was missing, namely Roma. It is quite surprising that currently Roma is in 18th position and is in the red zone with 1 point. Previously we know they got off to a bad start with 2x losses and 1x draws. They got this all because they lacked intensity to win in every match and when they faced Verona and Salernitana, Roma were unable to win. In the next match, Roma will face Empoli who are even worse without getting points in their last 3 matches and if Roma still fails to get a win, I don't know how else to react.
This is really the worst kind of a start Roma could have made. I can understand one of those point losses which was against Milan. However Roma should have been able to win the other two matches. Verona and Salernitana aren't very challenging teams for a quality team like Roma in fact.
