Osimhen could still be worth a lot but what if he isn't? But their future looks risky right now, what if he gets worse? This is why it's smarter to build something that will last time instead of keep what they have, they are not rich enough for that.

I still think it was a wrong move not to sell him. They could have made enough money to dominate the league with how much they could have made from him, and this is just one player alone, they could have destroyed the whole squad, sell all good players, made like 300+ million easily, probably more. With that, they wouldn't be able to build a team right away this season to be good, but at least they could have built a future that would be much better than what they have right now.

Osimhen still has 2 more years so he doesn't need to be in a hurry to sign an extension with Napoli yet. He would just concentrate on his game after recovering from his injury.

But after this season ends I think the situation will get really serious for both sides. Because Napoli will have to face the danger of losing him for free if they don't sign a new contract with him. But if Osimhen gets the attention of bigger teams next summer it could be quite difficult for Napoli to attract him into a new contract. Napoli might have to offer too much money compared to now to increase their chance of keeping him.
its too long contract duration and seems not really hurry up for extending new contract, but reported from football italia news have reached personal verbal extend contract until 2027 and Victor Osimhen will receive 12 million euro payment salary every season. one Saudi Pro League teams for signing Osimhen but Napoli not reach deal with transfer fees, but if rumor are true with extend contract seems Napoli want to keep him for long time and will put him in the player list "not for sell".

Napoli will start journey in this season against promotion team Frosinone, on the paper Napoli is favorite team for winning this match because defend of Scudetto winner last season seems easily winning against with promotion team.
If it's like that I would be very happy to see Victor Osimhen can stay longer at Napoli because this player will continue to develop wherever there are challenges for him. I think an offer from the saudi league will just ruin his whole career at the moment and it's something he can avoid as much as possible. Regarding the initial Serie A match that brought Napoli against the promoted team Frosinone, I think Rudi Garcia's squad is on paper to be able to win this match easily, but at least they shouldn't underestimate the promoted team. However if Napoli want to win this game for sure they need to be more than 2 goals ahead to avoid unwanted things.

I heard about Victor Osimhen's injury too. But from what I gathered, he's already back in training? That has to be positive news. Personally, I believe Napoli might not even require him to start the first game. They are competing with Frosinone, after all. Sorry, but Napoli has dominated them for a very long time. Osimhen may not be fully recovered, but Napoli still has things under control. The boy is a legend, without a doubt, but perhaps he needs to take a break
Frosinone just got promoted in Serie A. However they were the best team from Serie B last season. so Napoli also cannot underestimate them even though on paper Napoli is certain to win. Osimhen may not play because of his injury, but many football observers will not worry about Napoli's first match even without Osimhen.
just hope that Osimhen's injury is not serious and that it will make him return to strengthening Napoli's front line soon.

Although Frosinone is the team that won the Serie B title last season but still, Frosinone quality is still below Napoli. So yes, even though Napoli cannot play Osimhen because of his injury, I will still believe that Napoli still has a great chance to keep winning in this match. After all, it seems that Osimhen also did not suffer a serious injury and of course, I'm sure Osimhen also did not take long time to recover. Although perhaps, it seems that Napoli could still play Osimhen in this match maybe only for half the match. But yes, maybe that will also be a consideration, which will certainly have risks too. Therefore, continuing to rest Osimhen until he is fully recovered, then of course it will be a good choice and treatment.

The current scenario is that Osimhen will last another season and help Napoli retain the Scudetto. For next season I agree with you, that Napoli will find it difficult to hold him, because there will be many more offers coming in to bring Osimhen out of Napoli. For now Osihmhen will be sidelined for a few matches, but I'm not sure about the development.
If Osimhen can perform like last season and become the top scorer in Serie A, the price could be even higher. But in the remaining time of the transfer window this time, there is still a possibility that Osimhen can go faster.

The way Napoli performed last season really impressed everyone. This team's performance has been the most consistent since the start of the season. They were able to win every match consistently. And because of such consistent performance of Napoli, other teams of Serie A such as Inter Milan or Juventus team cannot participate in the title fight with Napoli. Napoli won the title unilaterally. But we are unlikely to see the same scenario next season. Napoli have sold several players in their squad. But the important thing is that they lost their coach. We don't know yet if new coach Garcia can succeed with the team.

It is difficult to describe how the current situation is in the Jeventus squad, recently it was reported that Bonucci was crossed out in the Massimiliano Allegri project. As a consequence of the unilateral termination of the contract, Bonucci will take legal action to demand salary compensation from Juventus management. For Napoli, who lost Osimhen in several matches due to injury, it will certainly reduce the depth of their squad.

Agree with you I will put AC Milan, Inter Milan and add AS Roma to the list of favorites in the hunt for the Scudetto.
The hunt for the Scudetto this season will probably be very different because apart from some people who will favor the three teams you mentioned, I think Napoli and Lazio will also provide interesting surprises in Serie A this season because Napoli still has to be reckoned with in terms of the title race in Serie A. this season because the injury suffered by Osimhen is not a serious obstacle for Napoli to return to performing well in Serie A this season.
It's interesting to see the competition getting fiercer, it makes it harder for a team to win the title, and that's what we all want to see, especially me. If there's only one club dominating, it gets monotonous, and we can already guess who's the champion.
Unlike last season, when Napoli raced ahead of their rivals, it didn't become a monotonous competition, because Napoli themselves had been fasting for the title for so long, and when they returned it became something interesting.
Now the situation will be much more difficult, and there are some names that are indeed favorites. And we can't be sure which of them is the biggest favorite.

With all the competition, being better in the upcoming season and Napoli themselves, and getting a new coach, I highly doubt that they will be able to perform as well as they did in the last season. They were quite consistent in the last season except from a few mistakes here and there. But in this season, they will find it hard. The consistency is going to happen because of the new coach in my opinion. The new coach will need a little time to actually settle with the club. The tactics are going to be different. Not with what Napoli players are accustomed to. But even though it is going to be hard, it is not going to be impossible.
Most people think the change of coach might affect their performance in the new season, but i think it's quite too early to judge them with that due to the fact that we've not seen them play yet with their new coach, it might take a while for the players to adapt to his style of play but it's a 50/50 chance because we're yet to discover that, however he has the squad and a number of quality players under his control what he just need is to boost their morale  with a good strategy that would help them continue with that winning mentality and team spirit they had in the previous season, I don't think the task ahead is going to be hard for Rudi Garcia if he builds a good relationship with his players and have each of them in their rightful position instead of making too much changes that would cause confusion in the team, i like the fact that he's replaced most of the players hed sold with new ones and would also help him as well incase he needs to rotate his players.

Roma have increased the likelihood of making Atalanta striker Duvan Zapata their new center-forward. According to Calciomercato, the Giallorossi have sealed an all-important agreement with the player over a multi-year contract.

Zapata has reportedly agreed to a three-year deal worth €2.7 million net per season plus €300,000 in add-ons. Despite emerging as Jose Mourinho’s last option, the 32-year-old is closest to joining the Stadio Olimpico giants. But Roma must present a satisfying proposal to Atalanta.
https://cultofcalcio.com/roma-seal-verbal-agreement-with-serie-a-striker/

That doesn't seem good for mourinho as roma was not able fulfilling jose's request to buy his preferred striker. Roma was just signing zapata which is quite surprising for me. I thought that after morata rejected roma's move and then marko arnautvic has become the secondary option for roma but i was wrong. I don't know why roma was picking this guy. it seems like that if financial problem forces roma to do that.

I can't even agree with the decision to recruit zapata as a new striker for roma. It's a bad decision. Roma can do better than signing him at this moment.
Roma thinks he has been fulfilling mou's request to get a striker which is familiar with serie a.

Serie A teams still have one more week before the new season starts officially. They can make use of this period to do last touches to their squad to be even stronger for the beginning of the season. Napoli don't need to add many players as they are keeping their squad quality nearly the same as the previous season.

Milan have also signed so many players so far to strengthen various positions. They might also slow down from now on. Inter might add a couple of players maybe just to increase the number of alternatives. But I think Juventus need player additions the most now especially into the midfield.
Precisely because Napoli did not really add new ammunition, it was feared that they would have a pretty tough season. We know that Kim Min Jae's departure to Bayern Munich has so far not had a suitable replacement and it is possible that the defense line will become more fragile without him being strengthened. On the other hand Milan made the right move by adding so much ammunition and they seem more ready to win the Scudetto this season than any other team. Inter and Juventus are big teams who haven't really given the impression that the competition is serious enough this season and seeing as their transfer market movements are mediocre they are likely to still be aiming for a place in the top 4 of the standings.

As far as I know there is still no official confirmation that Osimhen has signed a new contract with Napoli for the time being. We have seen so many crazy things happen recently that I wouldn't be too sure about Osimhen staying at Napoli for as long as the transfer market is still open. They have been saying that there was an agreement and such, but nobody actually confirmed that in an official statement and there are still rumors going on about Osimhen. I don't think he will go to Saudi Arabia, which was also discussed, but European clubs could still be after him.

The owner of the club Napoli has confirmed Osimhen will certainly continue to play with Napoli this season besides that Osimhen is still under contract for the next 2 years so he can't make personal decisions. if we want to hear news of Osimhen's move then it should be next season, ideally the club will release or extend the player's contract when the contract has one more season left. With this statement, we are sure that Napoli is still ambitious to win the Italian League title.

I can't even coubt how many times aurelio was confirming it. He keeps even repeat the same statement over and over again. I don't care anymore about osimhen as napoli neved had intention to let him go.

Aurelio is trying so hard defending him at this moment. His mind will change if napoli will perform so badly this season. Let's wait and see.

Osimhen's future determine by the result from this season.

As it is looking for Napoli right now, the player in the person of Osimhen is injured. He sustained the injury during a training session after he collided with another player during a tackle. He may not be expected to start the seasons preliminary matches and I know how this would like for him from the sides, should the injury be worse than reported. I still believe the Napoleon team got the bite and calibre of players to rise to the top just like they did last season.
Osimhen is one of the best attacking players from Napoli, so it's impossible for him to just sit by and watch the players struggle alone. Let's hope that Osimhen's injury will heal soon and that he will return to make his best contribution in the season to come. I am sure that when Osimhen is not there, it will be difficult for Napoli to win every match.

We can only hope for osimhen to recover from his injury as soon as possible. His ankle injury may take a very long time to receover.

I saw there is a video once he was suffering painful due to the his ankle injury during the training sessions. It seems like that osimhen will need more time to recover.

https://twitter.com/PoojaMedia/status/1689018187981967360

I hope he will be fine with it. Osimhen has become one of main important player in the napoli. I just learned how napoli was facing difficult once the club should perform without him. That reminds me with the result from the end of last season once he has been suffering injury.
From the reports I've read so far, the injury that Victor Osimhen picked from training isn't a serious one that'll keep him sidelined for weeks.
The ankle injury isn't gonna take much of his time in the new season before he returns to action. Napoli really need their talisman to be fit ahead of the new season challenge. The club knows that they have to start the season in front foot in other to have a success title defense.
I heard about Victor Osimhen's injury too. But from what I gathered, he's already back in training? That has to be positive news. Nice, if Osimhen injury is not long. Napoli need his services to win more points in this new season, he is an important player for Napoli and I agree with you Napoli first match against Frosinone, Osimhen should rest because the opponent is not too strong either. After all, there is still Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in Napoli who might be able to help win that match.

One week should be a long time for them to deepen their strengths and devise strategies that they will implement later. Unlike La Liga, the Premier League and Ligue 1, which started their competitions a few days ago.
They will now emphasize more on mentality in my opinion, because they have already played friendly matches, and they should be evaluating their shortcomings from the pre-season matches.
Napoli hold the status of defending champions, defending will be more difficult than winning.

Osimhen still has 2 more years so he doesn't need to be in a hurry to sign an extension with Napoli yet. He would just concentrate on his game after recovering from his injury.

That is the scenario why Napoli must offer a contract extension for Osimhen, because it will be a loss in terms of sales if they have to lose Osimhen for free. The situation would be the same as the French star who is now at Paris Saint Germain. Paris Siant Germain is in danger of losing the player for free because Mbappe is reluctant to extend his contract with this rich club.
Now perhaps Napoli can relax for a moment because Osimhen himself is still a little long until his contract expires. But I think Osimhen will be willing, because he knows the club that raised his name is Napoli.

For Osimhen there is no need to sign a contract extension with Napoli in the near future because he must first think about recovering from an injury so he can continue to play in future competitions. Osimhen's journey will also be seen to what extent in the next season he can make a positive contribution to the team or his ability is no longer the same when Napoli won the Scudetto. In the current transfer market, many teams want to sign him and they see Osimhen's ability to score against opponents so they have an interest in him.

If next season his ability to score goals decreases and he doesn't perform as well as the previous season then it is likely that other clubs' interest in him will decrease. Therefore, in my opinion he is more suitable to move to another club in the current transfer market, so that Napoli does not have to spend a lot of money on a new contract with a big salary when the contract expires next season.

as before, it has been confirmed that Osimhen will still be with Napoli this season but unfortunately can Osimhen be able to perform like last season whereas he suffered an injury while training last time and there has been no confirmation of the current situation whether he has recovered or indeed has to rest for several match.
and regarding the upcoming move maybe we have to wait until his contract expires and I think Napoli bosses will sell him soon in the next season because considering if he has an injury it will seriously doubt his performance in the long term.

I get that the owners say things all the time. Smiley If it was about the owner some weeks ago, Harry Kane would still be playing for Tottenham and not for Bayern Munich. It is the same for many other players as it is the rule #1 in negotiations. The owner can't announce publicly that the club plans to sell the player. They really don't plan to sell him, but they want to send out the signal to every club who wants Osimhen that this is going to be extremely expensive. The player who will never be sold doesn't exist. I wonder what would have happened if a club from Saudi Arabia offered 3 billion dollars for Messi a decade ago. Tongue

Do you guys think that Juventus is going to perform well in this season? If you do think they will perform well, do you guys think that they will be able to challenge for the Serie A title? They have been going through a lot of financial problems so they were not able to upgrade the squad as they probably wanted. So that is going to be a problem for them.

Napoli is going to find it really hard to defend the title. Successfully. The competition has levelled up. So even though they were able to keep Victor Osimhen in the team, it is going to be really hard to achieve for them.

Inter and AC Milan are going to finish in the top four for sure In my opinion. I hope inter is going to be hungry for a better result. At least better compared to the last season.
Currently Juventus is in a difficult situation. They got sanctioned recently. And then they also have financial problems at the club. Even their mainstay player Vlahovic has the potential to be released to a club that is ready to make an offer according to what Juventus wants. Previously, Vlahovic was almost at Chelsea, namely he was going to be exchanged for Lukaku. But the negotiations do not seem to be going well and have failed. Because Chelsea objected to the additional money they had to pay.

But apart from all that, Juventus are actually no strangers to every problem they face. Even last season they started the season with a lot of problems. Related to sanctions and also related to their players who suffered a lot of injuries at the start of last season. But last season they were still able to compete in the top 4 rankings. Even though they had to go down in rankings because they were subject to point deduction sanctions.
well even this season I think will not be much different. Juventus should also focus on being able to finish in the top 4 in Serie A. Because this club does not have a busy schedule this season. So this club should be able to focus on playing well in Serie A. But for the title fight I think it's impossible for Juventus to do this this season.
