Ranieri has been confirmed that his target with Roma at the end of this season is Roma can finish at the better position and avoiding relegation zone so he hasn't thinking about top 6 or even top 4 which with the current conditions of Roma i have to says it's hard to realize and Roma has tight schedules because this December Roma at least playing against 6 teams including on Europa league matches but Ranieri has been confident that he can improved Roma position in the near future and actually Roma upcoming opponent is not too hard because this weekend they will fight against Lecce and i think this is good opportunities for Roma to collect 3 points and return to the winning ways moreover Lecce conditions too is not really good because they also has been changing their manager

AC Milan and Bologna both got very convincing wins in this match. Bologna doesn't seem like they have lost all their abilities after being left by Thiago Motta. Indeed, Roma has to profit from January transfer window and the break to improve. The players and the manager has to work together to save the team from this disastrous season. Roma is just 2 points above of the relegation zone and only 5 points in advance of the last team in the league. Even Verona under them, scored more goals and had more victories..
The other team that's worrying Juventus. They can't keep a series of victories and fall rapidly. They will have troubles getting to the UEFA Champions League spots with all the teams above them winning.

I agree, and even then I said that the problems are not with the manager but with the squad. Ranieri isn't a bad manager I agree with that, but even he won't turn this ship around, they will just have a terrible season and by summer they will realize that they need to get rid of some players and get some new ones in order to find better results.

At this point, with third manager already on the team for the season, I think no matter what happens, they can't just fire Ranieri, that won't be really an easy thing to do, after all if they do, that would be fourth one coming, and that's not normal. This is why, after this one, they just have to accept that the problem is with the team. If they can make some moves on January, that would be lovely.

Is been a long time I saw Roma win their home match, is always either they lose or they draw because this has happened to them for four Italian matches and two Europa League match, actually I no that Daniele De Rossi has not been long on the Roma team but since January he was signed the club has just been the same without moving forward like others, so if this continues he would leave the management not much option but to terminate his contract because Roma has just few matches to loss and relegate themselves, so if the club does not act now they would have themselves blame because lately clubs that are not doing well has beginning to change coaches if they can brought back the little that is left from them. However Atalanta on the other hand is truly behaving like a champion they are because for some of the clubs that won trophies last season they are the only one who are on a complete form and Napoli is just few matches away from giving up the first position to Atalanta.

I am pretty sure that Roma will not fall down the league, I know they look close to relegation zone, only two points difference, and that is not really comforting at the moment to look at, I understand that.

However, I also think that even though they are terrible this season, they are still better than at least three teams this year, that is for sure. Even if they end up finishing the season at 17th place, there isn't really that much difference in finishing 12th or 17th, you end up staying at the league and you win nothing, both are getting the same result.

Maybe there is some financial difference, like 12th team probably gets paid more than the 17th team, but I do not think it would be that much difference, not enough for Roma anyways. So, I am pretty sure that we are going to see Roma stay at a relevant enough place and try better next season. That should be the most important lesson for us, as long as we have this kind of result, we should feel confident enough.

Atalanta has achieved a great victory against Roma today, currently Atalanta team is very excited.
