They were still nearly winning though if it weren't for the equalizer in the last moments. Their main problem still persists. They get draws very often. Now it is 8 draws after leaving 14 games behind. Their defense is really great but they need much more contribution in the attacking line. The same is valid for their midfield too actually. They would make use of more productive players in this area as well.
I didn't expect Juventus to draw with a 16th place club, despite the fact that they had several injured players. Lecce had ten shots against Juventus, six were on target. Even if Juventus was using second-tier players against Lecce, they should have won the game, without their strong defense, Juventus would have conceded more than one goal. Juventus dominated the game only in terms of ball possession, and the points were shared. They could have defended very well since they had only won one of their previous three games.
I underestimated Dušan Vlahović as Juventus striker this season since he didn't have much experience to convert some chances into goals. However, after his absence, Juventus' attacking position looked quite bad. Juventus' next rival is Bologna, and we have seen how Bologna is regaining their best form from last season to defeat their league opponents. The management has to buy additional players during the January transfer window because depending on players who have been injured after 14 games will not help them secure a Champions League position before the season ends.
