Pogba has really become a free agent officially.

There are already rumours out on the internet about his potential next team. Galatasaray rumours are getting bigger these days. It is said that they have been offered to sign him already. Do you know anything about how true it is?  Huh

I wouldn't be surprised if Galatasaray is really interested. They have drawn attention to themselves after that Osimhen loan already you know.  Grin  I wonder whether this Pogba signing will also get real soon.
It is true that Paul Pogba has officially become a free agent but I find it difficult to believe the rumors suggesting that Galatasaray is interested in signing him. Paul Pogba is injury prone and with his doping scandal, I don't think that they will want to associate themselves with such a high risk player. Pogba’s reputation is damaged and so is his value in the transfer market, no top club would want to risk signing him despite his abilities on the pitch.

Mateo Retegui is having a decent run of form with Atlanta in the Italian serie A as he is the currently the highest goal scorer in the Italian top division and also his team Atlanta in 2nd place one point behind log leaders Napoli doesn't mean it was all his effort only. Atalanta is playing as a well rounded team and also have a good manager too. Football is not played by just one one person. Despite this, I think Mateo Retegui has worked really hard to get this achievements this season.
Mateo Retegui is a young player who just joined Atalanta this season, no one expected before that Mateo Retegui would be able to make a big contribution to the team because overall if we look at it individually his performance is mediocre but indeed Atalanta's team performance this season is quite good so that it makes Mateo Retegui as a striker a little easy to complete several opportunities because he gets good support from other colleagues.
So if I see this is not only the result of Mateo Retegui's hard work but indeed Atalanta's performance which is well organized in all lines making it easier for Mateo Retegui on the front line.

Roma management has given enough time to De Rossi but he failed to fix this team even after many changes to cover this season with his desire actually making Roma's performance even worse.

So I think Roma management's decision is very right especially now they have appointed Claudio Ranieri to be Roma's coach with all of Claudio Ranieri's experience of course it is expected to help Roma overcome the problems they are currently facing, I am quite optimistic about Roma under Claudio Ranieri's coaching.
I just think firing Juric was the right decision. But I really regret that AS Roma fired De Rossi at that time. You know that last season De Rossi only continued the squad built by Jose Mourinho. Meanwhile at the start of this season he was building the Roma squad again and actually I don't think he was given enough time. So I consider De Rossi's dismissal a bit hasty. The club was in a hurry to replace him with Juric. And as a result Juric has disappointed the club with even worse results. But I am happy that in the end AS Roma appointed a very experienced coach like Ranieri. I hope Ranieri can bring positive changes to AS Roma and improve their position in the Serie A standings and also in the European League.

Paul Pogba’s ban will end in March. His future is still uncertain. Should Juventus have kept Pogba? Look at their current squad, I think they should have kept the 31 year old midfielder. Only Juventus know the reason why they decided to part ways with the player. It’s going to be very difficult for them to win the Scudetto with the way Napoli and Atalanta are playing this season.
Pogba is 31, but it is an effective footballer, and keeping him can make Juventus’s mid-field deeper, which is a very necessary strategy when the competition is getting fiercer every year. In fact he is quite young with the experience that will enable him to give his best if fully supported. Clearly, Napoli and Atalanta have been performing great in the season, but integrating such a steady and quality performer as Pogba will help the Old Lady maintain a level of play that will allow Juventus to ratings among the top contenders for the championship. We are just going to wait and see how the decision made by the club will assist the club in achieving their targets.
Juventus have their reasons for parting ways with Paul Pogba. It’s true Pogba is a world class and a talented player but his career has been largely affected by injuries and controversies, including the recent scandal which has caused his ban in the first place. Pogba's time at Juventus in his second season was not good. His inability to stay fit made things worse. However Pogba has the ability and the experience to contribute if he reagins his fitness and focus but I don't think any top club in Europe will want to have him in their book giving to his recent doping scandal.

I think it was not the right decision to fire Mourinho. Mourinho was a very experienced coach. Roma management should have given Mourinho more opportunities. And provided big funds to buy players. But Roma management was not interested in spending much money to buy players. They thought it was right to fire Mourinho.

After De Rossi became coach, we saw better performance from Roma in a few matches. But then Roma's performance gradually declined again. I think Roma's squad is not strong enough. Roma management should add talented players to the squad. Otherwise, even if they change the coach, Roma will not get the expected results. Roma's performance this season is very weak. Roma has only been able to win 3 matches.

Regarding choosing De Rossi who is believed to have a positive impact on the team, that is a management mistake.
And now if the management hopes that Claudio Ranieri can make a change, I am sure he can make a positive impact. But I hope the management must be more patient. Because the financial situation experienced by Roma will be a problem in the long term.
Maybe after the transfer market reopens, Claudio Ranieri can make a positive impact that can be felt by Roma.
AS Roma will most likely not be too active in the January transfer market, considering that Claudio Ranieri will only be in charge until the end of the season. In addition, AS Roma has also spent a lot of budget in the summer transfer market, more than they usually do, recruiting new players will make their financial balance unstable. Apart from that, Claudio Ranieri with his wealth of experience certainly has the chance to improve AS Roma performance in the future. With a different approach from De Rossi and Ivan Juric, Claudio Ranieri has the opportunity to lead his team to finish in the European zone.

source: Retegui named Serie A Player Of the Month for October

Mateo Retegui in his first season with Atalanta appeared very impressive he has scored 11 goals from 12 matches which made him the top scorer in Serie A for a while and also brought Atalana up to 2nd position in the standings and with this performance he was named the best player in Serie A in October. Atalanta is lucky to be able to work with him I think he will be glanced at by other clubs.
I congratulate him on the award.
If Scamacca had not been injured, he might not have found so many opportunities. I think this is also a factor. Retegui has been playing really exceptionally this year. We can say that he gave the expected year-end performance for Atalanta in 12 matches. 11 goals is a really good number. It is more valuable to reach this number, especially in a difficult and power-based league like the Italian league. He definitely deserves to be the player of the month.
The absence of scamacca provides an opportunity for Retegui to show his quality as a reliable striker at the moment, bought from genoa at a low price, retegui is currently able to adapt well and even he is a mainstay to help Atalanta in winning this season, even reportedly currently teams like arsenal are also starting to be interested in retegui but the possibility is only limited to interest because atalanta is unlikely to release him too soon, In my opinion, Retegui has great potential to maintain his slick form throughout the season, and he has shown consistent goalscoring ability and quick adaptation in Serie A, but scamacca recovery will be a big test for him as he will have to compete closely with scamacca for a place in the Atalanta first-team squad later.

Not everyone is convinced that Mateo Retegui can become the right choice for Atalanta after the Europa League champions agreed to pay up to 22 million euros excluding bonuses in exchange for the signature of the former Boca Juniors player. However, time is always the most worthy answer. Mateo Retegui's contributions to Atalanta's early season success have been impressive, one of the best for a striker making his Serie A debut. He is changing his way of playing: less individualistic to become perfect. Retegui will become a superstar in the not-ton-distant future.

I have information that Arsenal are said to be keeping an eye on Mateo Retegui.

Mateo Retegui was performing well in Atalanta and surprisingly he can being an the replacement of Scamacca who got injured and now he has 11 goals in Serie A which this achievement makes some of big clubs are showing their interest to him but Arsenal only will makes Mateo Retegui as the alternative because this January their main priority is Sporting player Viktor Gyokeres

Assuming Arsenal failed to gets Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting then they will switching their target to Mateo Retegui and Atalanta actually want to hold him but if Arsenal is dare to bought Retegui for 50 million then most likely Atalanta will going to sell him so let see it later whether this news will come true or it just a rumour

In terms of experience and achievements, of course Claudio Ranieri is better than Ivan Juric and De Rossi, I can say Ranieri is probably the same as Jose Mourinho who is more experienced in handling clubs so we can be a little optimistic about Roma's future performance, they must be patient in responding to the process and not rush to make decisions in firing the coach. I remember Napoli last season who changed coaches 3 times during 1 season and finally they got worse so changing coaches in a short time will make the club even more uncontrollable.

Just hope that his experience will help Roma overcome its challenges. His age might also be a disadvantage because at 73 the Italian might not be strong enough to give his best to the club. These days younger coaches are taking over the managerial space and they are doing exceptionally well. I might not be correct but I believe that Daniele De Rossi would have been the best for Roma. We saw how he brought Roma out of obscurity and made them qualify for the Europa. But the club management hastily sacked him and brought in Ivan Juric which turned out to become worse.
I think it was too early to send Daniele De Rossi off the team. Because I think the more patient you are, the better the results you can get. We saw De Rossi come to the team after Mourinho and do his best. We can say that he was a chance for Roma. However, due to some unsuccessful results, the management lost patience with him and sent him off the team. As a result, Roma got worse. They are currently far from the expectations of the Italian league.

A bit surprised to see Ranieri has decide to accepts Roma offers as a manager because last season he was announce his retirement from football and indeed Ranieri is not new manager in Roma because he was several times to train this team and looking forward to see his arrival effect to Roma whether it will be positive or it just useless but according to the news i can see Roma only give him short term duration contract which mean Ranieri only in charge until this season ended and Roma owner also didn't set high target for Ranieri because they know the condition of the team however Ranieri debut match will be so hard because next weekend they will fight against strong team Napoli
Too bad for Ranieri need to being responsible with Roma's bad performance, I hope he will not get heart attack if Roma relegated to Serie B lol. I don't know why Roma force Ranieri to become their coach again, because Ten Hag is currently free agent, many people said Ten Hag is a great coach because he won FA Cup and Carabao Cup, so how do Roma not recruit Ten Hag? Huh
Recruiting a coach cannot be done carelessly. Ten Hag has failed with Man United and the whole world must know that, so how can Roma recruit him when the team's condition is down? Won't it get worse? Instead of recruiting a coach with a bad history, Roma should recruit a coach who has previously trained them before to improve the team's condition. Claudio Ranieri must have considered carefully to train Roma again even though the condition is worrying, hopefully he can make Roma perform better in the rest of the season.

Yes, this is indeed quite surprising, he has even rejected several offers to become a coach of other clubs several times before finally accepting the offer to become a coach of AS Roma. And he said, he will return to being a coach only if 2 clubs invite him, namely "AS Roma or Cagliari". and now, it really happened, he has officially become the head coach of AS Roma until the end of this season on contract.

Source: Ranieri would only come out of retirement for Roma or Cagliari
He has strong bond with Rome and AS Roma invitation is like an offer that can not be refused by Ranieri. AS Roma is in big crisis and Ranieri is ready to help them with a contract till the season ending. His very first tasks is to help Roma improving their performances, and ranking up in Serie A table. First to enter top six that is possible for them, top four will be their next target which is very difficult to achieve at the season ending. Because in this season, there are some big surprise in Serie A from Atalanta, Fiorentina and Lazio, it makes the top four competition become tougher than previous seasons.

Currently Roma are not in a good position that is their big disadvantage to compete with other clubs for top four ending.

Doping is something that is prohibited in football, so I think it is a consequence that a player must accept when they are detected using doping, and Pogba is that player. Whether he consumed it intentionally or not, what is clear is that the expert team said he tested positive for doping. Actually, he is still very lucky because the appeal that was submitted was accepted and reduced his sentence so that now he can play again. Regarding whether he will find a big club or not, I think he must first prove it. Because the club also does not want to take a very big risk when recruiting players who have been out for a long time due to sanctions.
Sure enough, Pogba is quite lucky because he got a reduction in his sentence, it will be a second chance for the French player. Juventus and Pogba have reportedly reached an agreement to separate, it is not yet known for sure where Pogba will go next. Pogba will only be able to play actively in March 2025, and of course he needs time to adapt again. Rumors are circulating, Pogba is linked with MLS clubs and the Saudi Pro League, but it seems he will choose to stay in Europe. Playing in European competition will give Pogba the opportunity to get his place back in the French National Team.
We can interpret it as a time for the break and a new revelation for Pogba to be the best once again. In this case, the actions to be taken will help be crucial in shaping of his incidences personally, as well as in his career. Although there is enough time left to go back into the field again, it’s time which is good for being prepared more mature, physically and mentally. The option for playing in Europe or somewhere else will definitely add a new streak to his career path, and no matter the choice, work and endorsement are what one needs to get the trust back, including the French National Team.

I didn't expect, just because of a doping case but Pogba got a big punishment and it really affected his career in football which seemed to be bad. Also, with his age of 31 years like that, there would be no team in the top European leagues willing to bring him in. But, maybe if there is a mediocre team in the top European leagues willing to bring Pogba in, it seems the pay will also be low, and it's back to Pogba whether he is willing or not. Because after all, reflecting on Balotelli who is already 34 years old, he still accepts to play in Genoa which is basically just a mediocre team.
