look that even Napoli-Atalanta in my opinion will be a game full of fun

let's consider Napoli, a team that has grown a lot in recent years and is full of imaginative and generous players
let's also consider Atalanta, a team that did very well last year, sent away from PSG will seek revenge at any cost

for me it is a game where we will see good things

Big game, the Milan derby. 2 teams in a good shape who will win? I think a draw is the probably final result, 2-2

Sure, most funny game of week end Smiley

Again, it remains to be seen if Inter - Milan will be played or not. Things are looking bad in Italy, they are slowly catching up with Europe after a slow rise in trends. Anyway, these are the players currently unavailable for Inter: Stefano Sensi (DSQ), Skriniar, Gagliardini, Nainggolan, Radu and Young with covid19. A.C. Milan has only Leo Duarte and Matteo Gabbia.

someone talk about re-open stadium ... lol ... this thing makes me laugh a lot, because it's stupid
better to watch something than not to watch anything at all
we can live a year without a stadium
Always can.

Last year when Serie A and many leagues in the Europe were taken with breaks, people hoped to see them back, finish and find champions. Big leagues were resumed and ended all.

This season, people have a nearly normal leagues (without audience at stadiums only) and people are feeling bad. I don't understand, enjoy leagues when you can on televisions.

Today 1 Juventus player has been found positive and 4 of Parma.

They can't.
In Europe, they have a contract as a worker and they can't create a bubble.
They need a new contract or they can complain about it.

They need to change or they will stop again soon.

Watching how covid-19 is unfolding in Italy Juventus Napoli 3-0 is probably the first result of a long bad streak. They are talking about selective regional lockdowns and if they happen forget about Serie A. Still, Juve-Napoli was ridiculously handled from all the involved parties.

I don't get why the football teams do not do what the NBA has done, hell euroleague in basketball doesn't do what the NBA has done.

What is the point of allowing players and team members to go around in the world where there is pandemic and then allowing all of them to play with each other so close? Who thought that would be fine? These dudes constantly gets checked but honestly results are not instant, it usually takes a few days for your coronavirus to be seen in a test which means if you meet with some people or even go to a party on Friday and have a game on Saturday it will not be seen in any test and you will infect other people as well. Just close down ONE stadium, and close down countless hotels around it and make everyone play there this year, without anyone else getting in or out.

Hopefully Ronaldo will recover very soon. But he will noy be able to play for Juventus in the next 4 matches. Although Juventus is a stable team but their forward is weak without CR7.  Dybala is a talented player but he cannot be trusted. Crotone's match with Juventus on 18 October. Juventus might even win the match without CR7. But it will be difficult for them to win without Ronaldo against Dynamo Kyiv, Hellas Verona and the giant club Barcelona.
I don't believe Juventus without Ronaldo will be weak in attack. Before Ronaldo arrived, Juventus were the defending champion in the League and they always showed a solid game in every game played. Dybala is not an isolated player in the team, he is great and has given a lot for Juventus every season before. I think Juventus are still a strong team even without Ronaldo's presence in the next four games.

I think Ronaldo absent will definitely cause a great drop down on the club winning, dybala might not perform as expected and if he does, its always been a playing pair with Ronaldo, I really hope the affected ones comes back as quick as possible to their respective clubs for the serie A interesting games.
I will take my prediction line against Crotone on 18th October to be 1 nil

It will be a tough decision for Juventus and Napoli. If Napoli gets bad result what will happen if the league will be postponed weeks later because of almost same reason? Napoli will return and fight for it.

Now is official Juventus won 3-0.
If they stop the leagues they will change the protocol and Napoli can't appeal anyway since they violated it.

It should be not retroactive..

The important thing about the test on the population is the % of positive ratio.
Here in Italy in summer, we got around 1% with around 80 k tests day, now we are going for 5% with 120k tests/day.

The number of tests has increased over the months but the important thing is the ratio to see if the virus is spreading more or less.
It is correct despite of false positive or false negative from tests. How about the current infected rate in Italian communities (from survey nationwide or in a local region)?

From the figures you gave, it is a signal of second wave. How about the age distribution of 5% infected cases?

this is a point that i have seen being discussed a lot, for example in my country only do less than 5000 tests per day for the whole population, which is a very small number of tests, but 3 weeks ago when they said that 3 teams from my country are going to play games, when they went to test the players, they found that every 1 of the teams had 3 infected players. and when it was time for them to test for players from my country’s selection, 2 players were infected. I really think that the Serie A and other leagues should take a 2 week break to be able to control the situation, and should do this as a routine. But with these uefa nations league games the situation will only get more out of control

Quarrantine on players and a league break can help.

May this is a decision at very final point. As long as the spread of Covid-19 is not too wide, I think self-isolation.quarantine will still be implemented by the Italian government and football organizations. Of course the FIGC may also considering the fate of the club if it has to be stopped again. Because the football industry also absorbs a lot of workers. beside, paused the league will add the club's financial problems, crisis may happens to clubs because they are recently finished transfer window.

But numbers are irrelevant if we don't know the number of tested cases, here in Italy players are tested every 4 days and we do around 100k tests/day over the population and I don't know the numbers of other Nations.

They are sport athletes so they are strong and most of them will have self recoveries. I hope all of inflected players will be fine of course. The problems from public health perspective is to give enough protections for clubs' medical staffs and others. Those people are older and weaker than players and they need to be protected.

Quarrantine on players and a league break can help.
Most sports athletes have a healthy body and good antibodies so that they recover faster than other. The league break so far has given all the player a little time off and that is very important because it can be used for quarantine as well as maintaining fitness.

I just found out that Ronaldo was rumored to have Covid. This is a loss for Juventus and bad news for all the fans. I hope he get well soon and is back on the pitch soon. Also to all the other player, I wish them well "if infected" and maintain their health and health protocol for those who are still in good health.

Damn, it's so bad news!
The number of infected players is always increasing, I think it is not a good sign to continue the matches. I cannot imagine if most players in Serie A are infected already. It must be harder to handle than trying to avoid more virus spreads. So, I do agree with the idea to stop this season temporarily until the condition can be better and appropriate to start the season again.

Ronaldo also has positive test result.
If last season, a few months break did not destroy the leauge, this season will have better ending.

in other threads there was talk of letting 10,000 people into the stadium, while I argued that it was wrong ..

I feel absolutely right about avoiding other ways that allow the spread of the virus and consequently the closure of "commercial" sport.. for example DONT LETTING people to go to the stadium ... not 10,000

is sad, i know

but i better to close all -> we can see match in tv

I think the problem the league is seeing is the financial problem it will cause if the still continue to play matches with empty stadiums, I know it may sound selfish on the team's part but if they don't do these move there is a big chance that these companies will lose money or worst be out of the league for bankruptcy. If their own government allows such actions from the league then we really don't have any choice but just to let them be, for fans who don't want to be affected by the virus you will have the option to stay at home.

It is true that some teams have started to experience financial crisis, because they did not get income from selling tickets to watch stadiums.
If this is allowed, there will be many teams who go bankrupt. And this will also have a bad impact on the country's economy. It is very risky
to allow more spectators to come to the stadium, the virus will spread again. But there is no other way that can help the club's finances,
so they have to be brave enough to take that risk. For those who are really afraid of being infected, you don't need to force go to the stadium.
But as long as the health protocol is implemented properly, should be able to reduce the number of infected, if it is true that the audience is
allowed to come again to the stadium.
