Bundesliga was resumed firstly

The first to start was yes to the Bundesliga but in this case, you don't have to look at the timing but the numbers.
Germany became infected after Italy but official numbers, although doubtful, say that at the time of football played Germany had only about 20,000 positive cases.
To date in Italy, there are still about 40,000 positive cases with an average of about 2000 less positive per day in the last week, it is hoped that for the beginning of football there will be only 20k of cases or less.

I know but the Serie A should be finished ASAP because of some reasons:
- To reduce impacts (delay) on the start day of the new season.
- To avoid any bad impacts on the second wave of infections when the whole nation will be resumed and back to work after the lockdown.
I guess the La Liga want to hurry up and finish their season winthin one month is for the same reason. There are pros and cons but the common things are leagues will be finished after all (at least people try to finish it).

Bundesliga was resumed firstly, then we have good news and final schedules for La Liga, then Serie A. All things have jumped into a new normality for football in the Europe. At least, people have tried to finish the season if there are chances to do so. The only big league has not yet finally been scheduled to resume is Premier League. With all good news from three major leagues, I highly expect to see the official confirmation on Premier League's resume next one or 2 weeks.
I think the premier league will continue this month following the three major leagues that were scheduled before this June, but news is always in the media that the premier league will be held on the 17th of June with a statement like that might happen. because this is something that can be done in England because other Europeans have also done this during the pandemic.

But we will see a decision within the next week maybe an official announcement will be published.

I believe that Coppa Italia is going to be canceled.

No way, Coppa Italia will be only 3 games left in 2 days with no PPW copyright.
They want to Coppa before all since it will be a boost on viewers and it will be at least 1 title assigned.

OFFICIAL SERIA A WILL START ON 20/06/2020

and going on...

And now Milan and Inter are complaining because the will play more games on 1st week than their direct opponents.

Inter is complaining because they will play the Coppa Italia on 14th June while Lazio will have 7 more days of rests.
The date are not confirmed yet and can be changed.
Coppa Italia should be resumed after the end of Serie A. It is my opinion only and might be not perfect but people talk about advantages of having real matches in Coppa Italia before the resume of Serie A. At the same time, as you gave the news, some teams also complianed about potentiality of energy exhausted.

I believe that Coppa Italia is going to be canceled.
If they decide that more matches are going to happen after the end of Serie A then the whole season is going to last till the end of August. The players are not going to have time to rest for the next season.

Well, I said the same thing weeks ago, it isn't the best option to play Copa Itallia few days from resuming Serie A. It is no sense and may affect the overall performance of teams and the quality of matches. I am supporting teams complaining about this random decision.
There is 2 options: 1st play the Copa after finishing Serie A. 2nd play the Copa at the same time with Serie A but they should take on consideration many parameters to have a logical set of games that's fair for everyone...
The first option is my favorite one because it does not give any advantages or disadvantages to any teams that have matches (in Coppa Italia) before the Serie A resume or have matches after the resume of Serie A.

With the second option, maybe one team have advantages to warm up with real matches in Coppa Italia before the return of Serie A but after that if they have other matches in Coppa Italia, it will turn to be a disadvantage. It's not good.

Of course Milan and Inter will definitely complain if you have a lot of matches because it can affect the players if viewed from other teams such as what you say is Lazio resting 7 days then this is not fair for Inter and Milan.

But I also haven't seen the Serie A match that will start, but I think it will go well because time is speeding up so the match must be over quickly.

Juventus keep the best and favorite team to be champion in this year because they have good management and team, after success take Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid they have complicated player because they have Paulo Dybala before, I think the have good mentality and finance why become favorite team to be championship for Serie A, now many bigger team in Serie A like Inter Milan, AC milan and As Roma faced financial difficult and never could bring good and best player to their team.

Yeap. Any cups for now are less important than leagues. The slots for winners from national cups to UEFA's leagues are less than from national leagues. Taking into consideration the different importance between leagues and cups I think Serie A should be prioritised than Coppa Italia.
The coppa Italia isn't prioritised ahead of the seria A because it's starting first, if you assess it's schedule, it's clear that they just want to rush the cup games and get it out of the way for the league to resume, so all attention would shift to it. The teams still in the coppa Italia could use the few remaining cup games as a warm up to the league, they'll get the feel of game before other teams; Imo that's an advantage to them.

agree, and that could be northern lobby in Italy, since Lazio is not in the semi-final, and that race between Juventus and Lazio should be most interesting at the end of the season, fight between Atalanta and Roma for last CL place next season is untouched, since both teams do not participate in Coppa semi-final

will be interesting rounds, but do expect from Juventus to get the title

Money is not everything in life, life is everything in life Cheesy. If even one player dies, just one of them, everyone will realize that all of that money that could be earned would be for nothing. Hence I feel like the return would be too soon. Plus, there is a quicker recovery in Italy compared to many places only because they literally died to get rid of the virus. In other places it takes longer because people are trying to recover from it and that takes time compared to dying.

You can still bring back football, but I still suggest keeping everyone in check for a longer period of time, it is not only about players with no corona playing since that is safe, it is about also protecting the players from getting corona which will be very tough work to do when you let them be.

Agree, it's a hard and very tough task in fact to prevent players from getting COVID as football requires a team effort. But they can be completely isolated from the social  environment prior to each match and  this may be a way out of the current predicament. I have thought me heard there are places on Earth like New Zealand with no COVID at all.  What about this?

We should send all teams to New Zealand in order to make the leagues occur then.  Grin
Isolation as you described is not going to work, as during the game players are getting in touch with each other - I wonder why they keep distances on the bench while they are playing shoulder-to-shoulder in the game...

Better to finish it early? I think it would be better to delay the Copa after the end of Serie A. There is no need to rush like this. In Bundesliga, some teams didn't resume well their games, the usual performance isn't guaranteed at the start... I don't know but that's my opinion, better to delay it a little...

There is no need for considering overlaps in schedules between those twos now because Serie A should be resumed as soon as possible. Making it through 4 rounds, then see what will be do next with Coppa Italia. Taking multiple factors and leagues, cups at the same time for final decisions to resume all of them at the same time are very challeging and unnecessary.

It is a joy that Italian football has returned. There is so much to do to determine the new calendar and many pending issues.
There is already controversy after it was announced that the Italian cup should be completed between June 13 and 20, as expressed by Juve, Milan and Inter showing their discontent to the Copa ‘exprés’.
I also see it very forced for the players and the teams.

Ok THE day was Yesterday and Today we know what will happen with a *, I will explain later what it is.

Dates

13-14 JUNE Return simifinal Leg for COPPA ITALIA

JUVE-MILAN
NAPOLI-INTER

17 JUNE  Final Coppa Italia

20 JUNE recovery missing games
4 Games

23 JUNE the start of the missing part of the season

Now to the *.
They still have the rule of "if anyone not only players but anyone of the staff will be positive, the entire team must fo in quarantine for a total of 14 days".

The doctor teams are trying to change this rule as Germany is doing so, test for everyone, and quarantine only for positives.

@coinlocket$ it’s official now that the league will resume on 20th June, and a reminder to all that Juventus is leading only by a point, and anything can happen between now and end of the season meaning Lazio who’s second on the table can also win the league don’t you’ll think so?. Furthermore the rule to put the entire team and the staff under quarantine is ridiculous, and it’ll impact the league hence in my personal opinion they should immediately change this rule.
