I think it is not only that they do not want players to get infected (which I am sure plays a big role) but it is also probably if even one infected person goes to the game there could be THOUSANDS of people who got infected there as well because of how quickly it could spread out in a closed space. So I think there is a good reason to close the games.

So, at the end of the day, they're doing this just for the money, because let's be honest, a game being played behind closed doors sounds pretty safe. Don't worry, if Corona Virus will continue spreading like this, Serie A will be suspended or cancelled this year. If it spread across Europe, like what happened to Italy, then other series will continue playing without spectators and risk being postponed/cancelled... Football is in critical situation nowadays..
