Mourinho is a really great coach no matter how controversial he is with all the behavior he does indeed he is one of the eccentric coaches who may even almost have trophies in all of Europe's top leagues.
and now Roma is starting to experience a positive trend after he joined of course it's not a strange thing anymore because indeed his tactics and observations have been tested and now it's just a matter of waiting for Roma's breakthrough this season.
I think for the current season Roma will be able to fight again at least for the ranking in the big 4.

Yes, since they won't be play the Champion League, their full attention should be on winning the scudetto. No doubt, AS Roma have an experienced Coach who have managed many big clubs, but the season is still young to decides who wins the Serie A. However, for AS Roma to win the league, they have to work hard and also be able to win against big teams in the Serie A.

I think they're involved in the European conference league,but despite that they'll give there league matches a hundred.
An experience coach who has won almost everything in this league.
Having a good tactics that works in this league very well....no arguments,less side talks and no doubts about them winning Seria A and the end of it all.

Atalanta actually have an easy game against Fiorentina tomorrow. Roma defeated Fiorentina 3-1 this season. Atalanta were one of the best teams of the last season but they struggled to win in their first two games this season. They barely defeated Torino by 2-1 and drew with Bologna by 0-0 home. So I wonder whether they will have a tough time against Fiorentina this time also. I think that both teams will score in this match. But it is hard to predict which side can win. Atalanta are closer to a win normally.

According to Transfermarkt, Arthur, Bentancur, Ramsey and Chiesa are injured now. Especially Chiesa is a really big loss for Juventus to be honest. Until now, Roma didn't face solid teams to judge about how much the team improved under his management. Agree that Maurinho is an experienced coach, he has won many titles with many big clubs, but he has also unsuccessful when he coached Tottenham. His big factors success is because it is supported by great players at the club he coaches, and it doesn't show at Roma so for the Scudetto it seems too heavy maybe what makes more sense is to make Roma able to play in the UCL next season or get better rank than previous seasons.

You miss remember when Jose Mourinho success got first trophy champion league on his career when become coach for FC Porto, do you know how many star player on Porto FC when Jose Mourinho as coach there, no one star label player there but Mourinho success defeat with bigger club like Manchester United until they success with champion league. I think Jose Mourinho keep the best coach with most experience just unlucky with Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United before because not success give domestic league trophy and champion league, how ever the special one Jose Mourinho will make surprise on AS Roma.

Roma did not get Mourinho so that they could be champions on the first year. They got him because they want to overachieve, obviously finishing in top 3-4 would be the ideal situation but even 5th is not horrible. If they could somehow put themselves back into champions league, then all of this Mourinho deal and all those transfers would make a lot of sense.

Plus, they are building a core with all those young players, if they can get the performance they want out of them they could be great in 2-3 seasons and not only win the league, but may have a team that wins the league, wins the cup and then go out of group stages in UCL as well. If you have a chance to turn from conference league team to that team in 2-3 season with single manager than you keep him. However if he gets bad results and ends up finishing low on standings then it could be bye bye time for Mourinho as well.
