They are going for postponed Juve-Inter (best decision IMHO), this is the best decision for everyone if they will do so.

They are deciding right now, fans will be happy, Juventus will be happy (they will not lose 4m € from people at stadium).

Let's see what they decide.

When will you be competing like this? if it continues to drag on, Serie A won't be liked anymore to watch.
Don't worry, if Corona Virus will continue spreading like this, Serie A will be suspended or cancelled this year. If it spread across Europe, like what happened to Italy, then other series will continue playing without spectators and risk being postponed/cancelled...
Football is in critical situation nowadays..

It's a terrible situation if it continues like this I am afraid it will spread to other Europe so that other European league matches will be a match without spectators.
Italy is the 5th most victim of Corona Virus with a situation like this we must take good action and prevent it.

The newest information suggests that Juventus - Inter could be postponed to Monday. Everyone wants to avoid playing the match before empty stands and Juventus looks to lose several millions of € in revenue if they end up reimbursing their fans for purchased tickets (which they don't have to do according to their TOS).

It's a bit uncomfortable to see if the match is not watched even though it's a big team meeting a big team then the taste will be so lonely after watching it on TV.

It is on Inter's favor that this match is going to be played without spectators.
Juventus is not going to have with them they strength of their fans in one of the most crucial games for them this season.

I read up this news on official juventus[1]. "Juve-Inter to be played behind closed doors" and was confirmed by Lega Serie A.
I wonder what the odds were before the news came out. Currently Juventus to WIN @2.26 and Inter @3.45. I'm asking because now that the we know that there won't be any fans in the stadium, the psychological advantange (home advantage) won't be there, it'll be kinda like a neutral ground now.

And after watching Juve versus Spal and Lyon, i honestly feel like Inter are the favorites, they're just playing so bad lately :/

For now, 4 games will be played with no spectators.
This number can increase till we reach Sunday.
Juve vs Inter is one of those games, what about the other three?
Total of 5 games AFAIK:

Juventus VS Inter
Udinese VS Fiorentina
AC Milan VS Genoa
Parma VS SPAL
Sassuolo VS Brescia

Not is official Juventus-Inter will be played with closed doors and the "limitation" in Turin will expire 2 hours later, what a classical italian joke.

This match will not be exciting if there are no spectators, is every match in Serie A always closed or there are no spectators?
It's really gripping if like this continues, must be overcome as soon as time so as not to spread to others.

It seems that Serie A has increased its vigilance so it has forced this match in private so that no one has been exposed to the football players' viruses.

Is this really gripping because of the corona virus?

And good news for internazionale fans, Handanovic has recover from injured, he was training today[2]. maybe he will play against juventus or still padelli?

Hopefully with his return Handanovic can make Inter Milan stronger again.

As this virus is spreading its really shocking because today I was reading Italy is now in top five countires those are infected with this Iran is also in some serious trouble as few high profile peoples also diagnost with this virus so if authorties sure then can handle things then surely they can allow teams to play if they feel its not good then there is no panic with suspend games.
If Italy can not control the outbreak at the north and let it spreads over the nation, Serie A will be postponed because there is no barriers and guarentee that players won't be infected by the virus. The worst scenario is when not only Serie A but also most or all soccer leagues in Europe will request all matches in closed stadiums or suspende all matches till the endemic (or pandemic) halts or reduces its severity.

The virus really harms many people, especially to other countries that continue to spread rapidly, and Italy is currently affected by the top position of course if this continues it will hamper the match in Serie A and supporters will not be there because of fear of contagious faster to players.
I am sure this will be a big polemic in Europe because this problem is really serious if one player will be exposed it will spread to the other.

Farewell o_e_l_e_o
I think when the league and maybe also the government are certain that things are now fully out of control and they cannot guarantee the safety of the players, then games will be postponed till further notice. But as long as games are still ongoing,(though in an empty stadium)then it's is still very much safe for the players to go out there and do their job and no doubt they will.

This virus is taking out some of the fun this league has had since the beginning, it's sad that things have to get to this stage, but we can hope that very soon all this will end and the beautiful game continue without anything to worry about.
With the open borders between Italy and other nations in Europe I believe sooner or later the virus will spread out over all European nations. The severity of outbreak locally will depend on government reactions (fast or slow, seriously or mildly) with outbreaks and how they trace suspected cases, people who have close contacts with confirmed cases and prevent massive spread in communities. The bad news is weather still cold in Europe, that is good condition for the survival of virus.

Which professional footballer will go out there to play knowing that the virus is on the loose  Grin
I personally think everything may come to a standstill if there is a pandemic which will be quite sad

At least if this proposal gets approve we could still watch the games online

Oh they'll be playing trust me. I don't think they have that choice when things worsened aside from playing on an empty field there will be suspensions, penalties, and even bans when they refused to play even if the league will somehow adjust for their safety. Plus they'll be facing each other and these footballers gets medicals at least almost every week just to see their playing conditions so I know they'll be confident on having any kind of contact against each other. Yeah I do have to agree with you that once things will get worst a lot of postponements and cancellations of events will happen since this is the right thing to do, any unnecessary events on times like this could just help spread the virus.

Every professional player who get paid is going to go out and play - otherwise, he should not be called professional.
If the game happens, measurements from the institutions are going to take place in order to secure that the players are going to leave healthy after the end of the game.
