Top 4, did you mean so and only made a typo (top 10)?

I think Atalanta will have solid position in top 6 or 7 but top 4, they will have to fight so hard. The competition to finish in top 4 of national leagues is never easy and if competitors are strong and stable in whole season, result will be so tight and Atalanta are not dominantly strong than other clubs in Serie A.

@SquirrelJulietGarden there’s no doubt about the potential of Atlanta player’s, but now to grow they should reinvest in the market and try and challenge harder for the title rather than just be happy finishing in top 10. Furthermore I hope they don’t sell anymore player’s, cause to achieve success during this season they need to retain their core player’s.

With Max Juventus can get the Scudetto in a next season but they will not easily get it. Inter Milan might likely have a downside but AC Milan will grow more. It will be a good Farewell for Ronaldo in Juventus.

Atalanta need to have good substitutes for their players in their squad. They will leave the club some days. The most impressive things I saw from Atalanta in the past season is not because they ended it at third position. It is how they kept up their good works without Papu Gomez. We know Papu used to be a most important players of Atalanta but they played well without him. Very impressive.

These type of teams who are usually not good but become good have a difficult path in the future as well. What is that hard thing? Well players always want to get paid more and play in a team that may end up winning the league at least, or even a European cup as well, Atlanta is not that team (maybe europa if they are lucky) and that means players will want to go to a team that can do that whereas Atlanta will not be able to keep them easily. So what can they do? Well look at Leicester, they are a team that won the league once, but then they sucked however they recovered and doing fine for the last 2 seasons.

So, they should learn from them instead of all the other teams that worked harda nd then lost it afterwards. It is not an easy task, it is going to be very tough, but if they are smart about it they could actually become a top 5 team for decades.
