Conte wants more!
He is trying to find the way to get this two players: Nemanja Matić (Serbian, MUTD) and Ivan Rakitić (Croatian, Barça), both 31 years old with a great football experience

Hmm, well, not bad  Cool
Well it seems that Conte doesn't have a long term agenda if he wants these players who are almost past their prime, I will admit that they are great players in their respective positions  but they are not going to play at the peak for the next three years.

I like Conte. He just started but Inter-Milan is showing already good improvements. He seemed hungry and not contented on being just a second team after Juventus. That 2-1 lost to Barcelona without Lukaku showed he is on the right path. Losing at home to Juventus also showed there is still a lot of work to be done. Lukaku is back with his confidence. Ronaldo is ageing. Inter-Milan is in good hands with Conte.

Omicron is another FUD
it seems my luck is not good, my two choice teams make me disappointed (Milan & Fiorentina) both (Milan VS Lecce & Fiorentina VS Brescia) end in a draw.

Milan relies on a poor 12 season position for Milan and cannot be a giant team like before.
It's very difficult to come back again and be recognized as a big team like in the past. AC Milan has fallen too far even at the beginning of the competition they lost a lot of points and coupled with a change of coaches which means Milan is really not ready for this.
IMO.. it's not too late for AC Milan to improve their reputation, even though it ended in a draw with Lecce at home but I'm satisfied with Pioli's strategy.

I believe there is still enough time for AC MILAN to rise up in greatness once again. It's when they are relegated to the Serie B or C is when I will believe that they have fallen too deep to even make a comeback like Nottingham Forest who were once European Champions and now playing in the Championship.

Different results were obtained by the two teams from Milan in Serie A matchday 8. AC Milan drew against Lecce at the San Siro. They almost won and got 3 points but in injury time, Calderoni from Lecce score a goal to equalize the goal. while Inter Milan defeated Sassuolo and Lukaku scored 2 goals at Sassuolo

It was an easy win for Inter unexpectedly. Personally i thought that Inter would find difficulties as Sassuolo is always a considerable opponent at their home.
Milan once again have a bad performance and it seems like they won't be able to reach the European stages or at the best situation they are going to participate in Europa League.

A good start for Stefano Pioli. It's still very early to see its performance, the draw against Lecce is a good result for a while. It's just that AC Milan were unlucky at the time. They even controlled the match.

They may be bad but they aren't the type of team to fall in Serie B again because the last time they got relegated is for their punishment for the Totonero 1980. And bro get real comparing the rest of the Serie B teams out there and even the top ones in Serie A the money that AC Milan has is completely different compared to the financial support on majority of the Italian football teams they have, the money alone can at least keep them afloat in Serie A, without that they can't make transfers, a new stadium, and coaching changes in this kind of season.

I don't think they will go in Serie B but they are risking it.
Keep in mind they probably will sell players on January.

They will still have good players to keep their position on Seria A but the talent on football is not everything if players will lose their psychological component the team will risk the fail.

I'm almost sure that Ac Milan will not be relegated, but as an Internazionale fan, I'm just putting some oil on fire here  Cool

Brescia - Fiorentina is all tied in 18th minute.
The Viola has the full control of the game and I have a feeling that they are going to score in the first half. I am placing a bet for over 0,5 for Fiorentina in the first half

I don't like how the match started at all. Minute 35' and still no goal from either side. As you can see above in the thread my bet is over 2.5 goals in the game. Need more than 1 goal in the first half.. keeping my fingers tied. Fiorentina was a great team some time, let's see if they can still show off like they were back in the times.

Jumping the gun and placing an OVER 2.5 GOALS on Brescia - Fiorentina tonight. In 4 of the last 5 H2H matches they have scored over 2.5 goals so the odds are on my part. I'm getting a 1.80 odds so I think it is a pretty good risk/reward play. The Florence players are the favourites on this match of course, but as I said I expect a lot of goals.

the statistics are telling that the Over 1.5 is a bet for this game, the Over 2.5 can be very risky here, so let's take 30% profit instead of 80% maybe
or you are counting on Fiorentina to score minimum 3, in that case it's better to pick the ACF Fiorentina Total Over 1.5 @1,90 right?

I think Higuain offers more physicality going forward compared to dybala and given that he always wanted a big striker at chelsea, I am not surprised that he opts for Higuain over dybala. Higuain offers hold up play and more link ups to ronaldo than dybala manages in sarri's system currently. A No.10 role would be more suited to dybala under the current tactics.
Sarri was asked in an interview if he thought about playing all three of them: Ronaldo, Higuain and Dybala but he offered a very good comment on that question. He said that when he is thinking about it at the bar it seems like a good idea. But when he clears his head he realizes that the team would be very unbalanced. Ronaldo doesn't do anything in defensive play, Dybala doesn't have the physicality or the strength to offer much and Higuain is not the fastest or fittest to be chasing players up and down the pitch. Because of that Juventus can't afford to have three players not helping out in the defensive aspects of the game.

Milan and Inter Milan standings differ greatly but I think Inter is able to overtake Juvenstus because of the difference of 1 point while Milan relies on a poor 12 season position for Milan and cannot be a giant team like before.

So, AC milan can't win this match. We need to wait for few matches, at least until half seaaon for Pioli. If, AC Milan rank still under 10th, maybe we can say good bye to Pioli and AC Milan.

It's funny how Ac Milan has slowly turned to be an underdog. The mighty has fallen. At 12th position, Milan seriously needs to step up their game. For me, I think the first step in making that happen is to bring in new players to take the mantle. One of their biggest problem now in the squad is their weak and porous defense. If they can get that fixed along with strengthening their forward line, Things should improve. Otherwise, It's Seria B for them. And it'll be a lot harder recovering from that.
