Yes indeed, it seems inappropriate to compare De Rossi with Mourinho because after all, basically Mourinho has had a lot of experience in his coaching career and it is different from De Rossi who can still be said to be new in his coaching career. But even so, De Rossi as an AS Roma legend is also able to provide good results for AS Roma because with De Rossi's success last season also made AS Roma manage to finish in sixth position and get a Europa League ticket.

Thus, maybe that also makes AS Roma quite active in this transfer window by buying several players. Of course, with some of the new players brought in, it will be a hope to be able to make a good contribution to AS Roma next season. Because AS Roma who will also have a schedule on, ofcourse, will need a rotation of players who thus also, AS Roma need second-tier players who at least also have good quality to keep the team's performance good.
Mourinho is a class above, but he gets his latest offers from new teams more because of his authority than his results. It was noticeable how Roma's game improved after De Rossi took over. De Rossi has little experience but he has the character that makes players give their all on the field. It is also an important trait when a coach can motivate players to perform at their best, and since his arrival Roma have become more productive, which makes the matches more entertaining.

Yeah, for now Inter Milan is better in all aspects and they are still the main candidates to win the title especially when Lautaro Martínez is still in the squad then Inter Milan can still be relied on, while other competitors are still trying to build their squads by bringing in several new players. For now AS Roma is still my concern they have spent 88 million to bring in 5 players this means that AS Roma has a target to take a place in the top 4 or even compete for the title.

No doubt about competitiveness of Inter Milan as a best candidate to win Scudetto but AS Roma are making big surprise with their latest activities on the transfer market. $88M spent in this summer that is a very big budget and with this number compares to what spent under Mourinho times previous years, is it fair on how Roma treat Mourinho and De Rossi as their head coaches?

Roma is really committing to strengthen their squad. They want to compete for a top spot to get a UCL spot. It surprises me how Roma spent a lot of money in the summer window. The good thing is that De Rossi has made some efficient transfer. This was not happening when Mou was there.
They were not spending money crazily, but bought the player that they need it. Good to see many efficient transfers initiated by Roma.
It's very interesting to see a club like AS Roma participating so vigorously in the transfer market, It goes a long way to show how intent they are and how anxiously they want to compete against their rivals, some decades ago, Roma used to compete at the highest level, playing in the champions league, but in recent times Roma has experienced a great deal of decline which saw them leaving the echelon competition (UCL) to settle for the Europa and Europa Conference league where they won their first European title with Jose Mourinho as head coach, now they have a new coach in the person of Alessandro de Rossi who is also familiar with the team as a former player and has made some significant changes in the club which has also helped the team to be more competitive in the serie A, without any doubt I think Roma are going to be better side this season

De Rossi did his job well but it's not true to say his coach results are better than what Mourinho did for Roma in two previous seasons. He already was given chance to work longer with Roma and he will have many more pressure in a new season after the club decided to spend considerable transfer money in this summer.
This isn't something to be really worked up about, it's always a normal for people to quickly forget so soon how well one did performed immediately they are gone, Mourinho did stayed two seasons at Roma and ofcourse his first season was a beautiful one and the little challenges he had in the second turned out such that got him sacked and Rossi came in and did well but isn't enough ro be compared to Mourinho just yet, they haven't got equal stay time and just like rossi is doing, Mourinho did well too in his first season. Personally I wouldn't be seeing the reason for any of these comparisons, it may not be necessary. Let's allow the coaches perform at their capabilities.

With Dovbyk, Soule and Le Fee, Roma will have three players with ages from 27, 21 and 24. Two last players are young and can contribute for Roma in many seasons if they prove their ability successfully. Dovbyk can be a good solution for a striker position next several years as he is only 27 years old now.
Roma spending $88 million is a HUGE contrast to Mourinho's time. He had to rely on loan deals, basically working with one hand tied behind his back. Makes you wonder, doesnt it? Was it fair to Mourinho? Was it fair to De Rossi? They're legends! Now, Roma's splashing cash like its nothing.

If these new guys, Dovbyk, Soule, Le Fee, turn things around, well, it'll prove Mourinho was right all along. Maybe Roma needed to invest in the team, not just hope for miracles.

This changes everything. Future coaches will expect this level of backing. And if Roma doesnt deliver, they'll remember how they treated Mourinho. Mark my words.

Dovbyk was the top scorer last season in La Liga. No one will doubt him to be one of the best strikers in Serie A. I think Dovbyk will need time to adapt to the style of play in Serie A. As far as I know Serie A has a very strong defense and has a pressing game like Atalanta, Inter Milan, Juventus and some other top teams. But overall Roma has won the jackpot by successfully getting Dovbyk. I am sure Roma will be able to improve their ranking and have a greater chance to enter the top 4 of Serie A this season.
Successfully getting a player like Dovbyk, of course, can be quite profitable for a team like AS Roma if the team coach and his teammates can immediately help Dovbyk adapt in Serie A this season. Because a team like AS Roma really wants better results this season so being able to get a player like Dovbyk is a great fortune for AS Roma, but if the team cannot maximize the potential of a player like that this season, of course AS Roma is at a great loss because Roma should have been able to get much better results than last season in Serie A.

In the last few matches for this pre-season, Inter Milan has performed less than satisfactorily after several early matches they were able to win and play very well.
For some reason, there was significant decline and this made some people wonder because Inter Milan itself was one of the most consistent team from Serie-A last season and they were always able to perform optimally.
Failure against Chelsea was disappointing result because Chelsea itself is team that can be said to be quite weak and their performance is still below the word perfect, this is really very unfortunate.
I think many people are disappointed with the results because Inter Milan in this match is the favorite.

Well for now we can't compare between the two. De Rossi last season only continued the squad that Mourinho had built. Meanwhile, this season De Rossi is starting everything again for the Roma squad. So it could be said that this season could be the season to prove whether De Rossi is a good coach or not. But to compare with Mourinho then we might have to look at De Rossi also completing the next two seasons. because without it we will not be able to compare them fairly. De Rossi is still young so he might be able to make a surprise to make the Roma squad develop more. And we know Mourinho also had his glory days as a coach. And maybe De Rossi will also start his glory days by becoming Roma coach.

Let's just hope Motta can do something with Juventus because at this point I don't think they need a coach who would test run, but someone who can make them a threat against the likes of Inter and Ac Milan because for the better part of the friendlies, Juve haven't shown any signs that they are improving and their midfield is not as strong as it used to be with Rabiot been rumoured to leave the side soon, I feel they need to do more to convince the fans because they haven't been impressive since last season and with a new manager they are suppose to show some changes that they are back to that wonderful form as of 2-3 seasons back, for now I feel the team might be under pressure in terms of performance.
It will not be easy for Motta to immediately improve Juventus' performance because every new coach needs time to adapt and develop the team as he wants.
We can see how Motta's coaching career was last season when he was quite successful with Bologna, it should be a reference for him to be able to do the same with Juventus even though everything needs time for him to process.
I see this realistically and do not have high expectations for Juventus next season, maybe I just hope there are a few changes compared to last season.

As it is we can't rely on Juventus as a team that will do better next season, losing to Atletico Madrid 0-2 is like they are showing that they will continue from where they stopped last season which is not good to me. When they are ready to play good football they'll put their all but becoming a mess is what we see more, no improvement or whatsoever. How can they make it happen next season? Can the Old Ladies step up their gear and surprise the other clubs like they can become Champions again? With the set of players they have I was expecting at least to get something in that encounter but they could not convert any chance and it will continue next season.

It's Motta's first season, and also many new players have joined Juventus. You have to give him more than one season to see what can be delivered by Motta for Juventus. I know it's painful to see Juventus lose in the friendly. But, after watching their game against ATM, they lack everything.
Juventus's poor stats in this game make me think it will take longer than expected for them to improve. One shot on goal against ATM has proven me right. It's hard to see Juventus as champions with their current squad.

As long as Motta puts Vlahovic alone, who can do nothing to help his club, Juve is finished. Dusan can't create anything out of a pass, always waits the ball to land perfectly for him, and even he can't execute it.

Dovbyk is promising enough; he has been having good results last season in La Liga, but let's give him some times. Im sure he needs to slowly adapt to Serie A, but it'll be amazing if he delivers in his first season at Roma.
And last, hopefully, he can be a good replacement for Lukaku.

So far I still consider Inter as the main favorites to win the title in Serie A, but Juventus and Milan have never been overlooked. Milan looked good during pre-season and is expected to compete in Serie A until the end of the season, but Juventus is not the same. Pre-season and official matches are very different, so we can still expect Juventus to have a more solid team performance when Serie A starts.
A lot of teams have made preparations ahead of the coming season and they all have signed players they feel will benefit the team. Surely Inter looks more stronger to win the title again but i know it won’t be easy for them even if they even do. Juventus and AC Milan looks sharp as well and they seem like solid contenders as well, so it will be difficult to conclude that Inter will be the winners, i agree also that they are the favorites but the league will be very interesting and competitive.

One thing I like with the Italian Seria A title challenge is that, it is always serious and you will hardly see one team dominating the League for several years, it has to be within some teams because they play very hard and make sure no team claimed to be the boss.
Currently, Napoli should also not be underrated same as Atalanta; but Inter amongst the top three teams have the best squad and can go again to win the title even though it will be difficult for them because Champions league and other cups.
For years now no single team have dominated comfortably and it’s more like there is always a new winner every season. It’s impossible to predict a winner this by time because even Napoli could surprise us all, Conte might be building something special silently so no team can be written off yet. The Challenge for the title and top 4 will be interesting and very intense and we could see other teams pulling off surprising performances as well.

While other people are focused on discussing AC Milan, which has competed in pre-season against strong European teams such as Man City, Real Madrid and Barcelona. And AC Milan did get positive results. Which makes everyone appreciate AC Milan. But I think we also need to look at Inter Milan, who just experienced their first defeat in a pre-season match. And what was surprising was that Inter Milan lost to one of the clubs from the Saudi Pro League, namely Al-ittihad, with a score of 0-2. And what surprised me about this match was that one of Al-ittihad's new players who was brought in from Aston Villa actually scored 2 goals in that match. Inter Milan did not play seriously in this match because they continued to rotate players between the first and second tier. But Al-ittihad also did the same thing except for Benzema who played the full game.
Defeat must be felt by Inter Milan in the pre-season match, but I am not surprised by their defeat, because this is a common thing that happens in pre-season matches. Inter Milan still have a lot of time to study their shortcomings before entering the new season, in fact the defeat they experienced I see is a good thing, because this will make them not complacent with what they have. Many people say that currently Inter Milan has a good squad compared to other clubs in Serie A.

They have the status of defending champions in Serie A, they will try hard to be able to maintain it this season. Obviously this will not be easier than before, because other clubs are also preparing to provide competition in Serie A next season. So they will get more pressure than before. With the squad they currently have, they should be able to play well, but we'll see later.
Inter Milan is giving the chance to players and that matches are good for Inter Milan team because they wil judge their mistakes and then they will  play good in next season. Al-Ittihad Club team played well in that match and player are looking in good form and they are giving their hundred percent to win any match. Al-Ittihad Club won this match by losing last two matches because they tried their best to win last matches but they because unsuccessful to win last matches. But now they have confidence because they won the match against Inter Milan one sided match. This will give more confidence to that team and take team will be more dangerous in important matches. Well done Al-Ittihad Club, continue through struggle, you will be successful one day.

I think it is indeed unfair for Jose Mourinho for 3 seasons Jose Mourinho survived with the players he had and only relied on loan players without being given support from the club to buy the players he wanted while the club demanded the previous coach to be able to perform as well as possible, isn't this not commensurate with what Roma did?
Any great coach will also have difficulty coaching a club if the club itself does not provide support, on the other hand, an ordinary coach is given enough resources, then the coach can build the club as a whole.
But all that I think Mourinho has got justice now with Fenerbahçe, clearly he was not given happiness when coaching the Roma city team but their management wanted something beautiful from Mourinho clearly there was something lacking for both of them, while if you look closely Roma under Mourinho's guidance they clearly rose again and again received attention from other clubs, under Mourinho he gave one trophy with players who could be said not to be superstars, so I think he succeeded in Roma but Roma management failed to have him.

Now under De Rossi's guidance I see Roma spending a lot of money to meet De Rossi's needs clearly very different from what was given to Mourinho, but all this we can't blame their management maybe Roma are starting to realize that they are declining so they have to be able to spend money to revive their own club, so I think this is just a boomerang no one can blame Jose Mourinho and Roma are now starting to get better.

What De Rossi is getting now has never been get by Mourinho before, even though Mourinho previously managed to win the conference league for the first time for Roma, he was still considered incompetent in coaching Roma, in fact he was fired when the league was still running for half a season, currently, De Rossi has full trust from Roma to continue building the squad he has by budgeting a lot of money to buy new players, but this is different from Mourinho, who at that time asked for a small budget from Roma, and he was only given the option to strengthen the squad with loan players and clearly that created a conflict between Mourinho and the owner of Roma who ultimately fired Mourinho as coach.
Compare results achieved by Mourinho and De Rossi, it's unfair to sack Mourinho and hired De Rossi then end the last season with worse result than with Mourinho in two season ago. In money spent for transfers, it's more unfair between Mourinho and De Rossi.

I really don't know what's happening in Roma recent months and why they decided to take risk and spend too much money for transfers like this. In the last months of past season, there was rumor that they considered to sell their captain player for finance improvement. Now, in this summer, things changed considerably and they did not sell players to get money but actually have net positive transfers with many big transfers.

Quote
De Rossi ability to build Roma squad last season was quite good, but we have to admit that the bigger role in forming the squad actually belonged to Mourinho, because after all, De Rossi only continued the work left by Mourinho with a complete squad, but to next  season we will see what happens what De Rossi can do with the Roma squad that he will 100% build..!

Maybe I can agree with you about Jose Mourinho, after 3 seasons with AS Roma he was finally fired because he was considered unable to improve the game, while at the same time he did not get everything he needed to improve the game even more, I will not say he did not get anything but in my opinion AS Roma is still lacking in providing support for him regarding players. In the transfer market alone AS Roma did not move much, unlike what they are doing now.

But on the other hand I am happy because maybe now they are a little aware that it is very necessary to sacrifice to bring in quality players to make them able to achieve a greater achievement. Now all has happened and now they are with De Rossi, what we hope now is that De Rossi can bring AS Roma in a better direction and can bring a proud achievement.

Serie A is a competitive league, we can see from the last few season that the clubs that won the scudetto always change clubs and are not only dominated by 1 club, but yes, the strong candidates for winning the scudetto are only those such as Inter Milan, Juventus, AC Milan and Napoli, Maybe there a club that will be a dark horse next season? we don't know what will happen next, who knows Atalanta will show their impressive performance because they were able to win the Europa League title last season, so even though Inter Milan is still quite strong, it does not guarantee that they will win the title again because as far as I know, the elite Serie A clubs are quite difficult to predict their performance.
I am very happy to see the improvement shown by the teams in Serie A, because they are able to develop and that is a breath of fresh air for the league itself to be more competitive than before. After the loss of Juventus' glory days, we began to see quite competitive competition, but at the same time we also had to see Juventus experience a decline so that they had difficulty competing, especially when they had to get sanctions. Serie A is currently even more interesting to follow, especially during this break, big teams are starting to make moves to recruit famous players to make them more solid to face the 2024/2025 season. Inter Milan are the defending champions, but they will have difficulty defending their title because there could be other teams like AC Milan who have managed to become champions this season.
If you look at the teams that recruit great players, it seems that the Italian league will be difficult to predict who will be the champion. Inter as the defending champion is still strong until now, but with many other big teams making improvements, especially in bringing in new players, of course this has the potential to make Inter unable to defend the Serie A title. Currently, the most prominent challengers for Inter Milan in the fight for the Serie A trophy next season are AC Milan and Juventus.

The recruitment of players carried out by Serie A clubs is very promising which will make the league more competitive. With several confirmed star player recruitments and even several other rumors circulating from clubs such as Juventus, AC Milan, Inter Milan, Lazio, Napoli, AS Roma, Atalanta and Bologna. So the Serie A competition map will experience major changes in the fight for the championship title and Serie A will certainly be much more competitive than last season. because these new players have the potential to have the biggest impact on the performance of their respective teams so that it also has an impact on the league which becomes more interesting and tight.
I like what is happening in Seria A right now in terms of players recruitments. It seems like the other clubs have woken up from their slumbers and they want to make things right and be ready to compete once again. But for me I still believe that Inter Milan is the the team that will rise to the occasion. As the defending Champions they will still be as competitive as they were last season. If you look at Inter Milan you will notice that for the past few seasons they have been performing at the top level and they don't usually show any sign of slowing down. They are retaining their top players and this is a sign that they are not ready to relinquish the league title. Other teams will try especially with Antonio Conte now at Napoli it will be tough, but Napoli would have had a better chance if they were to keep Osimhen, but the idea of selling Osimhen and bringing Lukaku is what will draw them back.

And I think that Dovbyk made a huge mistake by swapped Atletico for Roma, firstly he had several chances to stay in the team that will play in the Champions League (this is Girona), and there was a chance to go to Atletico, also a team that will play in the Champions League, and quite often their performance in the Champions League is successful, they often reach the play-off stage. But instead he chose Roma, which will play only in the Europa League and besides Roma has no ambitions to fight for the Scudetto, so I do not understand what Dovbyk was guided by when he made his choice.

Yeah actually first Dovbyk seemed like he would sign for Atletico Madrid. I really don't know what happened in the meantime. Considering for how much Roma has signed him, I assume it wasn't a money-related problem. After not signing him, Atletico Madrid preferred Sørloth instead. And I agree, Dovbyk was going to play Champions League football if he stayed in the La Liga.

I respect his choice but I hope he doesn't regret it later.  Sad  I really want to see Roma also in the Champions League. But we will see whether they will be able to make it this season. We need more progress from De Rossi first to believe.
Roma needed a sharp striker to keep the fire burning because they became weak towards the end of last season. Dovbyk will add a good impact in the team's performance and that De Rossi make them  finish on top four this new season. However, I think he will be fine in Roma as long as he is in form.

Atletico Madrid should have a reason why they didn't sign Dovbyk anymore because i remembered that they wanted him initially. De Rossi want to qualify for UCL next season.

We still don't know what will happen for Dovbyk because although his performance last season was very good at Girona but all possibilities can still happen in Rome and we can't assume with confidence that he will play well because it could be the opposite although the hope is clearly to be better in terms of performance because he also has to continue to improve his quality in order to continue to shine.
We still have to wait a few more days for the Serie A competition and we have already seen how Dovbyk made his debut in a friendly match when Roma faced Everton yesterday.
He still needs a lot of adaptation because after all, to support a better performance, adaptation is an important thing and this is what Dovbyk must do so that his on fire performance last season does not sink at a new club.
The Ukrainian player was amazing in Girona last year and Dnipro the year before. I think he will be successful in Roma too, he just needs a little patience. We have to be patient with him and watch him find himself in Roma. After he finds form in Roma, we can enjoy watching our new star in the Italian league. It will be very enjoyable to watch him when Roma needs such players. I think we have to be patient with him for the first 5-6 games. A new country, a new team, new people. The adaptation process can be difficult.
As I said before, there is no guarantee about that because after all, to get the best performance, he must still prove himself.
There is indeed a good hope when he was on fire last season there is certainly a situation where his confidence and mentality will definitely increase, but on the other hand being in a new club with different adaptations can be a stumbling block when Dovbyk cannot explore more himself.

Serie A and La Liga are not too different when it comes to the tension of the game but it all depends on Dovbyk whether he can eventually adapt and maintain his form at a new club or not because for now De Rosi's style of play is actually a little different in terms of scheme compared to Míchel so it's a new start for Dovbyk.
