Roma is really committing to strengthen their squad. They want to compete for a top spot to get a UCL spot. It surprises me how Roma spent a lot of money in the summer window. The good thing is that De Rossi has made some efficient transfer. This was not happening when Mou was there.
They were not spending money crazily, but bought the player that they need it. Good to see many efficient transfers initiated by Roma.

It's very interesting to see a club like AS Roma participating so vigorously in the transfer market, It goes a long way to show how intent they are and how anxiously they want to compete against their rivals, some decades ago, Roma used to compete at the highest level, playing in the champions league, but in recent times Roma has experienced a great deal of decline which saw them leaving the echelon competition (UCL) to settle for the Europa and Europa Conference league where they won their first European title with Jose Mourinho as head coach, now they have a new coach in the person of Alessandro de Rossi who is also familiar with the team as a former player and has made some significant changes in the club which has also helped the team to be more competitive in the serie A, without any doubt I think Roma are going to be better side this season

With Dovbyk, Soule and Le Fee, Roma will have three players with ages from 27, 21 and 24. Two last players are young and can contribute for Roma in many seasons if they prove their ability successfully. Dovbyk can be a good solution for a striker position next several years as he is only 27 years old now.

Roma spending $88 million is a HUGE contrast to Mourinho's time. He had to rely on loan deals, basically working with one hand tied behind his back. Makes you wonder, doesnt it? Was it fair to Mourinho? Was it fair to De Rossi? They're legends! Now, Roma's splashing cash like its nothing.

Well for now we can't compare between the two. De Rossi last season only continued the squad that Mourinho had built. Meanwhile, this season De Rossi is starting everything again for the Roma squad. So it could be said that this season could be the season to prove whether De Rossi is a good coach or not. But to compare with Mourinho then we might have to look at De Rossi also completing the next two seasons. because without it we will not be able to compare them fairly. De Rossi is still young so he might be able to make a surprise to make the Roma squad develop more. And we know Mourinho also had his glory days as a coach. And maybe De Rossi will also start his glory days by becoming Roma coach.

I see this realistically and do not have high expectations for Juventus next season, maybe I just hope there are a few changes compared to last season.
