The transfer market is a momentum for every team to make changes and also improve the quality of the squad they currently have, So far we have predominantly seen the transfer movements of big teams in the transfer market and often forget what teams like Atlanta are doing, these two teams may not are the favorites to win the Scudetto next season even though they have done a lot of activity in the current transfer market and in my opinion that is very natural because after all big teams like Juventus, Milan and Intermilan are more dominant in improving their squad evenly in each line, which is different from which is done by teams like Roma and Atlanta who tend to prioritize one or two lines for them to improve every season so that it is like closing one gap but on the other hand any other gap is leaking, if you see what Roma and Atlanta are doing, you will definitely understand if they look active when some of their players have left or are currently injured right now.
We will definitely see some things changing during the transfer market, but I do not think that Inter being the team I will bet on outrights could change, not seeing any other team making any other bigger changes about that, seems like it is going to stay about the same. That's of course what I think will happen, and I do not think that we are going to end up changing it way too much, it will probably be something that will be alright but that's about it.

I think it's clear that we are going to see the teams have a decent result eventually, and Inter will end up being champions. They became champions last season by being a good "team", while other teams have some talents, none of them are as good of a team as Inter because they manage to work together in a great harmony which allows them to be better all together.

This will make Inter win the title again if they do not lose it, the only reason why Inter would lose the title would be them not being as good as they used to be, not any other team being better.

Another defeat for Juventus in the preaseason games.
This time was against Atletico de Madrid.

Juventus is far away to be completed, they have only 17 players in the current situation, they have no back up strikers.
They still need to buy at-least 4 players.

Gonna be an hard task for Thiago Motta.

Some of the players they have brought in to make next season better in terms of performance and looking at the players that Roma have managed to bring in at this time it looks like they will maximize more on several lines especially for their attack.
Dovbyk and Matias Soule I think it's very good for a better attack formation, besides that Enzo Le Fee in midfield can also be a hope to make stability between attack and defense because seeing Enzo Le Fee's performance at Rennes last season he was actually quite stable in midfield even though his performance was more inclined to the defense area than attack.
I think Roma will experience a difference if in the end De Rosi can maximize Dovbyk's performance well in the season that will begin in a few days.
Of all these names, the most prominent is certainly the top scorer in La Liga last season and Arthem Dovbyk will certainly shine much brighter in Roma. I can't even imagine how Roma can win his heart so easily and it seems that Roma seems to have a surefire way to melt his heart, even though Roma's competitors are also elite European teams, but here Arthem Dovbyk prefers to study in Italy.

Arthem Dovbyk certainly also wants to face other challenges with a different environment and because of that, this is also a good provision for him if later it is possible for him to go back after his good achievements with Roma. On the other hand, this can be considered a good investment for Roma because they will definitely make a lot of money in the future. We still remember a few years ago Mohammed Salah performed so brilliantly that in the end Liverpool had to dig deep into their pockets to buy him.
We still don't know what will happen for Dovbyk because although his performance last season was very good at Girona but all possibilities can still happen in Rome and we can't assume with confidence that he will play well because it could be the opposite although the hope is clearly to be better in terms of performance because he also has to continue to improve his quality in order to continue to shine.
We still have to wait a few more days for the Serie A competition and we have already seen how Dovbyk made his debut in a friendly match when Roma faced Everton yesterday.
He still needs a lot of adaptation because after all, to support a better performance, adaptation is an important thing and this is what Dovbyk must do so that his on fire performance last season does not sink at a new club.
The Ukrainian player was amazing in Girona last year and Dnipro the year before. I think he will be successful in Roma too, he just needs a little patience. We have to be patient with him and watch him find himself in Roma. After he finds form in Roma, we can enjoy watching our new star in the Italian league. It will be very enjoyable to watch him when Roma needs such players. I think we have to be patient with him for the first 5-6 games. A new country, a new team, new people. The adaptation process can be difficult.

When it comes to Roma, I don't see them making big transfers much. But I really appreciate that Dovbyk move.  Smiley  Only 30 million euros for such a talent? It is a very cheap deal to me.

Matias Soule and Enzo Le Fee are other transfers they spend between 20-25 million for each. I don't have any idea about these players but hopefully they can show something good to us at Roma.

De Rossi has extended his contract and made it permanent. This season is really important. The board will expect some improvement. I want to believe in him to do so.
Dovbyk's move? Indeed, its a value price-wise, but switching Champions League aspirations at Atletico for Roma's Europa League nights? That seems contradictory. De Rossi saw something; I admire that. To be honest though, Roma requires more than simply a fresh manager to push for the Champions League. They demand game-changers, not only team fillers.

Soule, Le Fee - gifted kids. Still, will they succeed in Serie A? Or will they disappear in the mix? Roma is essentially running a gamble. Perhaps it pays off; perhaps it doesnt. One thing is certain, though: this season will reveal whether they are real competitors or merely acting careful

Yes you are right it is hard to know which team will be best in Serie A next season. Teams like Napoli and Inter Milan have had good and bad years. Now many top teams have new coaches which makes it even harder to predict. But we know that Napoli hiring Conte is big deal. He is great coach who has won many championships in Serie A. I also think he will make Napoli strong team again and maybe even lead them to another championship. He is good at motivating players and making smart decisions so I would not be surprised if Napoli does very well next season.
One very enjoyable fact about the serie A is that you cannot see any long stretch of dominance by any team, it's mostly that teams just gets to have this dominance awhile after which another team takes over the dominance awhile again and the rotation continues. This new season where it appears like all of the teams are putting in great efforts to getting better could aswell mean we expecting a very good and interesting season at the serie A where we are going to see teams battling the top position on the table again, the title race obviously is going to be fierce than it has been in previous seasons.

Considering what I have seen in the transfer window so far, I feel a back-to-back title for Inter this season.  Smiley  Inter doesn't need to be that much active in the market but the other top teams should be.

Juventus has changed their manager maybe but they still couldn't perform the transfer plans in their mind. Motta has a really difficult job to do because of that. My biggest expectation is from Napoli to make difficulties for Inter honestly.

Because they already have a great squad. Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia also are staying for another season as it seems. I don't see any offer for Osimhen because of his high costs. Conte is a special manager and he would know what to do with this power.  Smiley
I think I have similar opinion with you concerning the club that's likely to win the Italian Serie A next season and that's no the current champions if Italy. Inter Milan won the league last season with much points difference and I expected the other top clubs in the league to be very busy in the transfer market this summer but that's not been happening. Juventus, AC Milan and Napoli though have changed their managers, but that doesn't necessarily make much difference if you ask me.

It is probably not going to be possible for Juventus to actually compete for the title. Because yes they were able to get a new coach. But they were unable to actually get the players that they wanted. Especially now it looks like whichever player they are actually targeting are getting hijacked by other clubs.

Napoli is probably going to have a result that is not good as well. I wanted to say they will have a result that is worse but compared to the last season they might actually see some improvements. But still do not think they will compete for that title.

Inter should have another good season. I think they are counting on the players that they already have to have a good result again. I guess as the same squad did work once, they are not willing to make any big changes.

I also hope that there can be several teams that become strong next season in Serie A and also including teams like Napoli and others because with several new coaches filling the big teams in Serie A, of course it will make Serie A more interesting to watch because the competition could be even fiercer than last season. In addition, I also hope that the teams that were previously slumped in Serie A can rise better like AS Roma and also Napoli who will be trained well by Conte next season.

Even though some top teams have new coaches, basically the new coaches in question are good coaches who certainly have the ability and qualities to build and/or improve the quality and performance of the team to be even better. Milan with Paulo Fonseca, Juventus with Thiago Motta and Napoli with Conte. Indeed, it can be said that Conte is a coach who has had better success in winning trophies than the two coaches mentioned.

But despite this, the reality is that Thiago Motta also had very impressive results last season. Because Thiago Motta succeeded in making Bologna, which was basically just a mediocre team,  but Thiago Motta succeeded in making Bologna compete strongly in the top four last season. Apart from that,  we also have AS Roma who were also quite impressive last season with De Rossi and to start next season, in fact AS Roma have also made good player purchases too. Thus, the Serie A competition next season is very likely to become more competitive, because of the improvement in the quality of the Serie A teams that has occurred.

Serie A is a competitive league, we can see from the last few season that the clubs that won the scudetto always change clubs and are not only dominated by 1 club, but yes, the strong candidates for winning the scudetto are only those such as Inter Milan, Juventus, AC Milan and Napoli, Maybe there a club that will be a dark horse next season? we don't know what will happen next, who knows Atalanta will show their impressive performance because they were able to win the Europa League title last season, so even though Inter Milan is still quite strong, it does not guarantee that they will win the title again because as far as I know, the elite Serie A clubs are quite difficult to predict their performance.
I am very happy to see the improvement shown by the teams in Serie A, because they are able to develop and that is a breath of fresh air for the league itself to be more competitive than before. After the loss of Juventus' glory days, we began to see quite competitive competition, but at the same time we also had to see Juventus experience a decline so that they had difficulty competing, especially when they had to get sanctions. Serie A is currently even more interesting to follow, especially during this break, big teams are starting to make moves to recruit famous players to make them more solid to face the 2024/2025 season. Inter Milan are the defending champions, but they will have difficulty defending their title because there could be other teams like AC Milan who have managed to become champions this season.

This season many big clubs changed coaching. AC Milan, Juventus, Napoli and Bologna. Each of these teams will start with a new coach. What caught my attention was Conte, whose coaching quality is beyond doubt in Serie A. He always brought the teams he coached in Serie A to championship titles. And I now wonder if he will do it again while coaching Napoli.

I'm very happy about all this because I think Juve needs a change of environment, of coach, of whatever, although I can't say anything bad about Allegri because thanks to him they got in with that 4th place, a place where basically things leave them in the UCL, so if it's to do good for this club, I think he's welcome, I ask myself something, if they hadn't Qualified for the UCL, would they have fired him? Even so, I want Juve to become that team that always wins , that is always good and at least at the level of an Inter Milan.

Tottenham complete £65m deal for Harry Kane successor as Juventus plot move for £47.5m Chelsea star

Quote
Tottenham Hotspur have officially confirmed the club-record signing of Bournemouth forward Dominic Solanke in a statement £65m deal.

The 26-year-old has signed a six-year contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, which runs until the summer of 2030, according to the Athletic’s transfer expert David Ornstein.

Solanke’s arrival comes almost exactly 12 months on from the departure of Spurs legend Harry Kane to Bayern Munich. The 26-year-old arrives in north London on the back of a tremendous individual campaign which saw him score 19 goals in 38 appearances as he outscored the likes of Son Heung Min, Mohamed Salah and Jarrod Bowen.

Inter has been on a roll, sure, but lets not start too far ahead. Serie A's always been a wild card. Keep in mind Juventus's nine-year run. Empires in Italian football come and go. AC Milan and Juventus with new management? Though its a risk, change can cause a turn around. At Bologna, Juventus's new coach performed admisitely and might surprise us. Im not stating they'll win the league tomorrow, but a mid-season surge is not out of impossibility. IMO, Inter's good; but, count out the competition not here. The fans will benefit much from this season's nail-biter nature.
This season's Serie A could be more tense than last season due to some changes in big teams like Juventus and AC Milan. So Inter Milan will also get quite balanced resistance from several rival teams including the two teams I mentioned. And because of that, sometimes we can't make accurate predictions about which team has the potential to win the Serie A trophy this season even though in general Inter Milan is still quite strong and needs to be watched out for by all its rivals this season.

In fact, in addition to being a super competitive championship and lately the level has been growing a lot, they are also becoming really strong in Europe, proving that they are no less than other top clubs considering that Atalanta has demonstrated that it can win in addition to the fact that thanks to the change in the format of the champions this year we will have other chances to see an Italian among the finalists so it is often difficult to even make a prediction to win the bets Smiley

The uncertainty in the transfer window makes some of you questioning Atalanta and AS Roma in the betting markets. That makes sense, but avoid writing them off right now. Indeed, they lack the glitzy superstar reputation of some other Serie A clubs, but keep in mind Atalanta's Europa League triumph from last season. They defeated a powerful German team that everyone considered to be unbreakable. That was a show of tactical genius and flexibility, not a fortunate break. They might bring that momentum into the next season.
Atalanta have been growing up a lot in last five years and they are one of most stable clubs in Serie A with impressions in Serie A, Champions League and Europa League. They potentially can grow up more and become a Sevilla in Serie A as so far they are growing up on this direction. From previous seasons, Atalanta shown that they were able to maintain good performances after one successful seasons and they repeated in some seasons, not only one.

Quote
Not to overlook AS Roma; they are making moves! Getting a top scorer from La Liga indicates they're eager to change things around. Although the odds may seem stacked against them right now, these teams have a past of challenging the so-called favorites. Thus, if they repeat it, you should not be startled
AS Roma are actually moving and I am not sure what have been changing in the club in finance and how did they get good budget for transfers like this? Previous three seasons with Mourinho, they did not spend too much money on transfers market but it is changing in this summer. By recent transfers, they shown good signal of ambitious targets in a new season.

Napoli are the champions of the previous season. They did not finish last season very well. But suddenly they can reach the performance they showed in the previous season. I think Napoli deserve a chance. But we must not forget that Osimhen was a big part of their championship in the previous season. He might not be in the team for the new season. So I think it's better to wait for the transfer window to finish before betting on them. If Osimhen goes to another team, Napoli might not be back to their best.

Yeah the betting market will be updated continuously before the transfer window closes for now we can't make any predictions because we don't know if there will be any new players, usually the arrival of new players has an impact on each team. For next season it seems that Atalanta and AS Roma are underestimated even though we know AS Roma is building a squad by bringing in several new players, one of whom is the top scorer from La Liga.

Soule is a good player, and I'd go for him instead of an overpriced player like Chiesa. And this is because Soule came to Roma because it's his desire to play for the club. He was even feeling fear caused by the news that reported his deal was almost collapse.

Roma needs a player that's going to play with his heart. Also, Soule's price range is still bargain.

For next season, we can see that several Serie A teams are starting to improve to be even better and this indicates that there will be fierce competition in the fight for the Scudetto title.
Napoli, Juventus, Roma and also AC Milan look quite serious about building a team for the front and that will put pressure on Inter Milan and if you look at the strength of these teams as a whole, I think it is also quite balanced.
It is still too difficult to determine who will win the scudetto next season. Some teams are still in promising condition, Juventus, Inter, AC Milan, Atalanta and Napoli. All of them are gradually starting to show changes, both from new players and coaches. So this time Serie A will present a tighter competition than before. Personally, Juventus and Atalanta are more favored, while the rest Milan and Inter are still the biggest obstacles to winning the scudetto title.

And I think that Dovbyk made a huge mistake by swapped Atletico for Roma, firstly he had several chances to stay in the team that will play in the Champions League (this is Girona), and there was a chance to go to Atletico, also a team that will play in the Champions League, and quite often their performance in the Champions League is successful, they often reach the play-off stage. But instead he chose Roma, which will play only in the Europa League and besides Roma has no ambitions to fight for the Scudetto, so I do not understand what Dovbyk was guided by when he made his choice.
I agree about Dovbyk going to Roma too early. Because it can be said that he left the club that had just made its name quite big. Girona seems to have lost an important figure in the front line, this situation is very unacceptable for Girona fans. At least Dovbyk must stay for 1 more season and show that he deserves to be in the UCL competition. AS Roma will not participate in the UCL next season which means that Dovbyk seems to be avoiding a big opportunity. I know AS Roma is a bigger club than Girona but that doesn't mean AS Roma can get a UCL ticket next season.

Yes, De Rossi stayed in Roma and signed a full contract with them, but this does not guarantee anything to the team, they really worked very poorly on the transfer market (not counting the transfer of Dovbyk), so even the Champions League zone will be a huge achievement for them. I don't know, maybe he had a dream to play in Serie A, and if he can also become the top scorer in Serie A, then he will have the opportunity to move to a more top club, maybe that was his plan.)

Looking at the odds, it is no surprise to see Inter being this much favoured.  Smiley  Juventus are still right behind despite having a bad season. It must be due to the manager change or history-related maybe.

I'd rather put Ac Milan in second place instead of Juventus. Motta does not have a good history, and he never won Scudetto. It seems due to the team's depth, but i don't really find anything interesting about Juventus. Also, we have several clubs that changed their coaches, such as Napoli, Ac Milan, and Juventus as well.
There's nothing weird to see. Inter Milan is favored to defend their scudetto. The gap to second place is that big.

8.50 for Napoli look really nice... Grin  Rather than betting on Inter to win the title at these low odds, I would try my luck with Napoli. There isn't any guarantee for a certain team to win. Conte's arrival can makes things really interesting as I said. Even if he fails in his first season hopefully De Laurentiis won't make a mistake like sacking him right after. Conte is a brilliant manager. I trust him in case of being given enough time.

8.50 makes sense for Napoli, but the problem is that if sometimes they're good, sometimes they're bad. It's hard to guess, but I think Napoli can still make the top 5. It depends on the depth of Conte's squad.
I think my best prediction is for Napoli to finish 5/6th at best. Conte has a long history in Serie A. But, it doesn't guarantee a win like with Spalletti.

I remind you Napoli finished at 10th last season. A bit surprised it gets 4th favorites.
