Yeah, for now Inter Milan is better in all aspects and they are still the main candidates to win the title especially when Lautaro Martínez is still in the squad then Inter Milan can still be relied on, while other competitors are still trying to build their squads by bringing in several new players. For now AS Roma is still my concern they have spent 88 million to bring in 5 players this means that AS Roma has a target to take a place in the top 4 or even compete for the title.
No doubt about competitiveness of Inter Milan as a best candidate to win Scudetto but AS Roma are making big surprise with their latest activities on the transfer market. $88M spent in this summer that is a very big budget and with this number compares to what spent under Mourinho times previous years, is it fair on how Roma treat Mourinho and De Rossi as their head coaches?

With Dovbyk, Soule and Le Fee, Roma will have three players with ages from 27, 21 and 24. Two last players are young and can contribute for Roma in many seasons if they prove their ability successfully. Dovbyk can be a good solution for a striker position next several years as he is only 27 years old now.

As it is we can't rely on Juventus as a team that will do better next season, losing to Atletico Madrid 0-2 is like they are showing that they will continue from where they stopped last season which is not good to me. When they are ready to play good football they'll put their all but becoming a mess is what we see more, no improvement or whatsoever. How can they make it happen next season? Can the Old Ladies step up their gear and surprise the other clubs like they can become Champions again? With the set of players they have I was expecting at least to get something in that encounter but they could not convert any chance and it will continue next season.

So far I still consider Inter as the main favorites to win the title in Serie A, but Juventus and Milan have never been overlooked. Milan looked good during pre-season and is expected to compete in Serie A until the end of the season, but Juventus is not the same. Pre-season and official matches are very different, so we can still expect Juventus to have a more solid team performance when Serie A starts.
Inter Milan actually still have the best squad amongst the top three teams which are Inter Milan, Juventus, and AC Milan.
One thing I like with the Italian Seria A title challenge is that, it is always serious and you will hardly see one team dominating the League for several years, it has to be within some teams because they play very hard and make sure no team claimed to be the boss.
Currently, Napoli should also not be underrated same as Atalanta; but Inter amongst the top three teams have the best squad and can go again to win the title even though it will be difficult for them because Champions league and other cups.

Meanwhile Juventus I don't think they will be a contender there but only aiming for a ticket to the champions league, I know Juventus are also building their squad in this transfer window but somehow I'm not too sure about their abilities let's just see what they can do next season.

Another defeat for Juventus in the preaseason games.
This time was against Atletico de Madrid.

Juventus is far away to be completed, they have only 17 players in the current situation, they have no back up strikers.
They still need to buy at-least 4 players.

Gonna be an hard task for Thiago Motta.
Motta is still trying to put things back in place in the team. He is trying to get to know the team but Juventus' performance in the friendly matches has not been encouraging. They lost 3-0 to Nuremberg, drew 2-2 with Brest and now lost 2-0 to Atletico Madrid. If they continue like this, the Scudetto in Serie A will only remain a dream. They need to solve the problem urgently. They experienced too much pain last year and they need to work hard to prevent a repeat.

I have been saying that the Juventus management has made successive mistakes, they shouldn't have hired Allegri, they knew about Allegri's style of play, but they still hired Allegri, for this season that will start this month, they made the same mistake again, they hired Thiago Motta who has a style of play very similar to Allegri's style of play, to make matters worse the Juventus squad hasn't changed much, but the management knew that Allegri's squad wasn't good enough to win Serie A, yet this season the squad hasn't changed much

This was the Juventus squad that played against Milan last season:

This was the Juventus squad that was used in the friendly match against Atletico Madrid:

In the attack, for example, I see that they are still very weak, they do not choose great attackers, and the consequence of this can be seen in the results of these friendly matches:

3 games, 0 wins, 2 goals scored, 7 goals conceded.

One of Alegri's good traits is that he was good at defending, the same happened with Motta at Bologna, but even in defense Juventus are not doing well. I very much doubt that Juventus will be able to win Serie A and they will not get far in European competitions.

Everyone was wondering what reason made Arthem Dovbyk choose to come to Roma, who wouldn't even play in the UCL. Actually, he could choose to stay at Girona or go to another big club that is also interested in him. But everyone was shocked by the announcement that Arthem Dovbyk had chosen AS Roma instead. And it turned out that the real reason was because Roma's new coach, Daniele de Rossi, had spoken to the player and as a result Daniele de Rossi succeeded in convincing Dovbyk to join Roma. Because I don't find any other reason for it.  I don't know what description De Rossi explained to the player that made the player finally interested in joining AS Roma. However, one thing is certain that he will not play under high pressure at AS Roma. Because AS Roma will only play in the European League.
Dovbyk was just following his desire to join in Roma. He has turned down Lucrative offer, and this is what he wanted. Dovbyk loves roma and that's pretty obvious to be his reason comes to Roma. The only thing that surprised me is that if how Roma and ATM were swapping their target.
Also, I can't believe how Dovbyk turned down a CL club. Then, he put his money in to get to Italy ASAP. It shows that how Dovbyk really loves this club.

Girona seems to be pushing Artem Dovbyk towards a transfer, allowing them to gain profit to cover the club increased expenses. Girona player wage bill will automatically increase significantly due to qualifying for the Champions League, and cashing in on Artem Dovbyk can help address their current challenges. Roma has won the race to sign the Ukrainian international, beating out several other elite European clubs who were also interested in Artem Dovbyk. It seems that Artem Dovbyk chose Roma primarily for the promise of more playing time, with De Rossi guaranteeing him a starting role to replace Lukaku. Roma is also likely to lose Tammy Abraham, who is heavily linked with a move to Milan. While it's unfortunate that Artem Dovbyk won't be playing in the Champions League, he will be competing in the Europa League with Roma. Last season, Artem Dovbyk scored 24 goals and was La Liga top scorer, and Martinez now has a formidable competitor in Serie A.

If you look at the teams that recruit great players, it seems that the Italian league will be difficult to predict who will be the champion. Inter as the defending champion is still strong until now, but with many other big teams making improvements, especially in bringing in new players, of course this has the potential to make Inter unable to defend the Serie A title. Currently, the most prominent challengers for Inter Milan in the fight for the Serie A trophy next season are AC Milan and Juventus.
Inter is a tough team that is expected to defend its title next season, but Milan and Juventus can be considered its toughest competitors considering the performance of both in the previous season. Inter is still strong based on the depth of its squad, but Milan and Juventus seem to have big ambitions to win the title next season.

The recruitment of players carried out by Serie A clubs is very promising which will make the league more competitive. With several confirmed star player recruitments and even several other rumors circulating from clubs such as Juventus, AC Milan, Inter Milan, Lazio, Napoli, AS Roma, Atalanta and Bologna. So the Serie A competition map will experience major changes in the fight for the championship title and Serie A will certainly be much more competitive than last season. because these new players have the potential to have the biggest impact on the performance of their respective teams so that it also has an impact on the league which becomes more interesting and tight.

Of all these names, the most prominent is certainly the top scorer in La Liga last season and Arthem Dovbyk will certainly shine much brighter in Roma. I can't even imagine how Roma can win his heart so easily and it seems that Roma seems to have a surefire way to melt his heart, even though Roma's competitors are also elite European teams, but here Arthem Dovbyk prefers to study in Italy.

Arthem Dovbyk certainly also wants to face other challenges with a different environment and because of that, this is also a good provision for him if later it is possible for him to go back after his good achievements with Roma. On the other hand, this can be considered a good investment for Roma because they will definitely make a lot of money in the future. We still remember a few years ago Mohammed Salah performed so brilliantly that in the end Liverpool had to dig deep into their pockets to buy him.

And I think that Dovbyk made a huge mistake by swapped Atletico for Roma, firstly he had several chances to stay in the team that will play in the Champions League (this is Girona), and there was a chance to go to Atletico, also a team that will play in the Champions League, and quite often their performance in the Champions League is successful, they often reach the play-off stage. But instead he chose Roma, which will play only in the Europa League and besides Roma has no ambitions to fight for the Scudetto, so I do not understand what Dovbyk was guided by when he made his choice.

Yeah actually first Dovbyk seemed like he would sign for Atletico Madrid. I really don't know what happened in the meantime. Considering for how much Roma has signed him, I assume it wasn't a money-related problem. After not signing him, Atletico Madrid preferred Sørloth instead. And I agree, Dovbyk was going to play Champions League football if he stayed in the La Liga.

I respect his choice but I hope he doesn't regret it later.  Sad  I really want to see Roma also in the Champions League. But we will see whether they will be able to make it this season. We need more progress from De Rossi first to believe.
What Dovbyk chose is quite questionable. And actually, after Atletico Madrid failed to get Dovbyk, it turns out that now they have got a much more experienced player who was obtained from a big club, namely Alvarez from Man City. And it's just a matter of time until Atletico Madrid officially announces it. Yes, I also respect Dovbyk's decision to prefer Roma over Atletico Madrid and Girona. And Dovbyk even sacrificed the opportunity to appear in the UCL just to join Roma. And actually, although Girona is a small club, I think they are developing and could become a big club one day. Roma is indeed very lucky this time.

Serie A is a competitive league, we can see from the last few season that the clubs that won the scudetto always change clubs and are not only dominated by 1 club, but yes, the strong candidates for winning the scudetto are only those such as Inter Milan, Juventus, AC Milan and Napoli, Maybe there a club that will be a dark horse next season? we don't know what will happen next, who knows Atalanta will show their impressive performance because they were able to win the Europa League title last season, so even though Inter Milan is still quite strong, it does not guarantee that they will win the title again because as far as I know, the elite Serie A clubs are quite difficult to predict their performance.
I am very happy to see the improvement shown by the teams in Serie A, because they are able to develop and that is a breath of fresh air for the league itself to be more competitive than before. After the loss of Juventus' glory days, we began to see quite competitive competition, but at the same time we also had to see Juventus experience a decline so that they had difficulty competing, especially when they had to get sanctions. Serie A is currently even more interesting to follow, especially during this break, big teams are starting to make moves to recruit famous players to make them more solid to face the 2024/2025 season. Inter Milan are the defending champions, but they will have difficulty defending their title because there could be other teams like AC Milan who have managed to become champions this season.

Juventus's main problem is still remain the same compared to last season. It's on their attacking line. Vlahovic has been the worst of Juventus's players in this game. Vlahovic's first touch is terrible, and his movement to create space is totally woeful. Also, I can't believe he can't shoot or pass in this game. It's making me doubt if he is the right striker for Juventus..
Motta's strategy won't work if he still keeps Vlahovic there. Thuram and Douglas Luiz are gaining my trust because they are performing well in this game. ATM destroyed Juventus. But it made clear a problem remains.
Performing poorly in a match like this does not guarantee a big problem when the season starts later. Vlahovic is not a weak player and actually he has very good talent but unfortunately a player like him needs to be able to improve his talent and be able to score more goals.
Juventus did not look too strong last season but getting the top 3 position is proof that Juventus is still a strong team in Serie A. Although the coach has just joined as Juventus coach, I have a little faith that he can make a contribution that can make Juventus perform even better.

Motta currently does not need to have too much difficulty in strengthening the attack line because I am really sure that Vlahovic can still be relied on as a reliable scorer.

Other painful defeat for Motta in the current pre-season match, although in this match it can be seen that Juventus game has improved compared to the previous match, we can see that in this match their game has actually improved with can dominated the match but there is no capable striker in their current attack line make their cannot to goal, in fact the lose which is very natural if you look at what is currently happening with Juventus, because they are still in the transition stage after a complete overhaul of the squad, Juventus has sold and released many of its players this season but they have not yet got all the players projected to replace the players who are leaving, according to I can't say that Juventus will be worse next season, because at the moment the squad they have is not really perfect and before the transfer market closes of course the squad that Juventus currently has is not final.
By looking at the results of this pre-season match, it seems that we can't really expect much from Juventus for Serie A this season. Because it looks like they still need time to adapt and even the chemistry between the players hasn't looked that good in pre-season matches. But one thing that has indeed improved is that Juventus doesn't make many mistakes in possession of the ball. It's just that they are still dull in the attack line. And the pre-season match against Atletico Madrid is actually also the last match for Juventus in pre-season. Because next week Serie A will start and Juventus will directly face Como, which is a promoted team this season from Serie B. And we know that it will probably be a match that is quite difficult to predict. Because Como has also made quite thorough preparations in the transfer market. Meanwhile, Juventus doesn't look perfect at the moment. It's just that the players owned by Juventus do look higher quality compared to the players owned by Como. But we'll see.

Juventus defeat in their preseason friendly game against Atletico Madrid didn't come as a surprise to me and that's because the club's new manager is still Thiago Motta is trying to find the playing style that'll bring out the best from his players. That being said, I think the club management needs to make few significant signings this summer since they've already listed out some players of the club they'll not want to continue with next season. I think the
quality of the  team is too weak to compete with other top Italian clubs. Thiago Motta with what he did at Bologna has shown that he can manage the best teams in Italy but he's not a magician that will improve a team of average players to conquer more quality players in one season.

It is likely that there will be fierce competition next season in the fight for the Scudetto and it will be different compared to last season but we also have to see it realistically that among the top Serie A teams that are now starting to rise, only Inter Milan has consistent performance and strength in the last few seasons so it is natural that they are more favored than other teams.

Juventus and AC Milan seem so serious in improving but there is no guarantee that the team can be as consistent as Inter Milan last season and even several other teams also seem to be making improvements for the better so it is likely that Serie A next season will be much more competitive with fierce competition in the fight for the Scudetto, I think it is much more interesting and good.

I think the new season they are going to face challenges that are obviously going to be new. In the last season, they were able to run away with the title. But in this season I highly doubt that it is actually going to happen again. I am expecting good competition from other clubs this season. I am not saying there is no possibility for them to actually defend the title successfully. But there is every chance for others to actually compete very closely for the title and actually win the title.

I have the biggest hope from Ac Milan. Juventus have improved their squad but I am still very doubtful about Juventus actually being able to compete closely for that title. Maybe they will be able to finish in the top four. But for the title is going to be a very hard job for Juventus.

Inter Milan will only have difficulty defending the Scudetto if many teams are involved in the competition, last season there were no contestants who were really serious about pressing their dominance in Serie A. Juventus and Milan can probably be relied on in the competition, I'm a little doubtful about Napoli after last season they experienced a rapid decline. Atalanta, Bologna and Roma might be temporary threats at the top of the standings, but it does not rule out the possibility that the Scudetto will be won by a team that is not favored.

Napoli can actually freely rise and become a title challenger, because they do not play in any European competition, but until now Conte has not completed all the transfer plans to build his version of the starting XI. Without meaning to underestimate any team, Inter Milan still looks more dominant than all the other contestants, because they have not experienced many changes in the team. Overall I think the competition for the Scudetto next season will be fiercer than last season, and this is the reason that makes it always interesting for us to follow it.

Inter has been on a roll, sure, but lets not start too far ahead. Serie A's always been a wild card. Keep in mind Juventus's nine-year run. Empires in Italian football come and go. AC Milan and Juventus with new management? Though its a risk, change can cause a turn around. At Bologna, Juventus's new coach performed admisitely and might surprise us. Im not stating they'll win the league tomorrow, but a mid-season surge is not out of impossibility. IMO, Inter's good; but, count out the competition not here. The fans will benefit much from this season's nail-biter nature.
