A boring draw; but a deserved draw as Cristiano Ronaldo brace in the first leg of the semi final was enough to send Juventus to yet another final for Ronaldo; and also Pirlo first shot at a trophy as Juventus coach. Problem lingers on for Inter Milan who are inconsistent in the big games. I think Napoli would join Juventus in the final.

Milan are going to play an away game against Spezia this weekend. Milan are the leader with 49 points and Spezia are the 16th with 21 points. Spezia are an interesting team. They managed to beat Napoli and Sassuolo away with the same score (2-1). But they also lost to Inter, Juventus, Roma and of course Milan (away). I think Milan will be beating them in this game also. But it might not be a very easy game for Milan.

Juventus vs Inter 2nd leg Coppa Italia clash begins in about 15 minutes. I just saw the starting lineups of both teams and I'm not really sure what to expect as both teams are fielding a pretty strong team for tonight's game. The moneyline odds for Inter are much smaller than that of Juventus which makes me think we might see an upset. One thing I know for sure is that Inter would want to fight back after losing the first leg. I placed a small bet on BTS. We should see some good attacking football and goals in the match though. Btw, I'm rooting for Juventus. Big fan of CR7.

Today in the Italian Cup Juventus is playing their second game with Inter. If it was a match under the leadership of Alegre, then we would probably see a match with a minimum number of goals and excellent defense from Juventus. But the team with Pirlo concedes a lot, and therefore I assume that Inter will score a goal, Juventus will try to do the same. In general, I suppose that the teams will exchange goals and the match will be rough with a lot of violations.

Looks AC Milan will be safety on the first position standing place because faced with Spezia, I think Ibrahimovic will make new record again after last match success make brave when faced with Crotone. How ever the last year for Ibrahimovic to give trophy or scudetto for AC Milan because next year maybe he will be end in football with old age. Can Milan consistent and keep with good performance until 38th week or Juventus got keep touch their trophy.

Ibrahimovic is doing an awesome job despite his age. He already has 14 goals in Serie A and he is fighting for being the top scorer. You can't find easily a player who is this good at scoring while getting closer to his retirement. He is a really special player for sure. I wonder at what age Ibra will decide to retire.

Milan is keeping this season very competitive. It was not a difficult match against Crotone yesterday, particularly because Ibrahimovic and Rebic were truly inspired. Crotone had no chance to win this game and their relegation is almost near.

There are still 17 games left. There are still many opportunities for other clubs to win Serie A. Milan VS Inter is an exciting match that determines the first place in the standings while not determining the champion (imo). If Milan want to win at least they have to play stable and get full points in the rest of the game. If you expect Milan to win, I look at the history of their duel, Inter have won more. But that's history, this year Milan may be favored more than Inter.

It is a huge game surely. Juventus couldn't get a win in their last 2 away games against Napoli. I think another difficult game is waiting for Juve. I won't be surprised if it ends in a draw.

There is 38 games in a season, and even though we didn't had games back to back constantly for the whole year, the remaining 15 or so games will be played until late May and we are going to finally see who will win. By the time Milan-Inter game comes it will be 25th game of the season, which means 13 more games left.

I am not saying a 3 points there wouldn't be crucial because it is one of the most important 3 points there is, it is actually a "6 points" as we call it, but it is still not impossible for either team to make a comeback in 13 games, we all know teams lose points and there is a chance both Milan and Inter (and even Juventus) could lose points from 21st of February until end of the season, 13 game winning streak "may" happen but I doubt so, I think teams will keep on losing few points here and there time to time so Derby won't be end of the season for neither team if they lose.

What a solid performance from Milan! Ibrahimovic had an another superb game here. He scored 2 goals and now he has 14 goals in 11 Serie A games. Calhanoglu and Rebic were also very good in the game. Calhanoglu is one of the best midfielders in the world with quality attack minded tactics that back it up and it is no surprise that his first match since injury; Milan scored 4 goals; Milan has not had more goals or chances created in a match since he was out injured. He is still yet to sign a new contract but yet very pivotal to the team; if he keeps fit; then there would be no unsitting AC Milan from the top spot.

The table can be splitted to two: AC Milan, Inter Milan and Juventus for Scudeto. AS Roma, Lazio, Napoli and Atalanta for the last spot to Champions League. The difference between them can become bigger after 5 more matches. I think first three teams deserve their positions as they more stably win and get points. AS Roma, Lazio, Napoli and Atalanta are weaker and less stable.

Lazio-Cagliari game was really exciting in the second half. Cagliari found important chances (3 of 6 shots were on target) but they couldn't make use of them. After Lazio have got rid of their mediocre form, they started having a great performance and they have been the winning side in Serie A for 6 weeks. Their next game is against Inter in Giuseppe Meazza.

Apart from his skills, Calhanoglu has successfully adapted to Pioli's schemes and strategies. If AC Milan does not succeed in extending his contract, Milan's strategy next season is likely to change and may be not solid as this season. Let's see in the match when Calhanoglu didn't play, AC Milan seemed to have difficulty attacking against big teams. Indeed, for Crotone's, even without Calhanoglu at the start of the match, Milan should have won in quality. He is the key for AC Milan, and I wish Milan considered to extend him.
