AC Milan showed a great performance in the friendly matches. I, and probably you, did not expect to see such a good performance from them. Right now, it seems like Fonseca has managed to add good things to the team, but when the league starts, everything will start to become clearer. Because the teams will be on the field with their best squad to compete in the best way. For now, everything is going very well, but we should not forget that these matches were friendly matches. The opponents may not have taken it very seriously, the real struggle will be in the league.
AC Milan is always having good depth into Serie A as they are consistently doing good job in last few years even they are having some troubles on and off the field but still things are working as they are having good squad and performance with consistency their pre-season matches are showing how things will be in coming season because in last season they were able to have things well under control, but they were late so have to stay at the second spot.
Now in this season start is good, and they are also having few top players which are ready for having their best at this level Serie A is having good results in last few years even many clubs are suffering due to Covid era, but they are able to bring better results we can expect another good season at the top because few teams are trying their best for having top spots and quality performance.
If we look at Milan 4 friendly matches, we actually see an increase in performance that occurs from one match to another (LDWW) and they even managed to beat two big European teams, namely Manchester City and Madrid, but indeed the results of the friendly match should not make Fonsesca and the Milan squad proud, so that they close their eyes to several weaknesses that they should be able to correct before the real test they take on 17 August later, the friendly match must be utilized well by Fonsesca to continue evaluating every weakness that owned by Milan, so that when the league starts they will be very ready to face it.
We cannot use last season as a reference for assessing Milan performance next season, because currently Milan has started a new era with Fonsesca, yes, in the last few seasons they have been able to appear quite consistently as Scudetto contenders, but we might see different things happening to Milan next season in the hands of fonsesca as the new coach, so far he has made many changes in overhauling the Milan squad, so we don't know whether Milan next season will be better or will experience a downturn.
