If the club and management have issued a policy then they must understand and comply and as players and staff no longer have problems with the policy. This salary reduction step was taken to safeguard the finances of the club which currently cant play competitively and even the club is faced with the potential to cancel the season.

Based on the news that I read from the media, there seems to be no problem caused by this salary reduction and this policy may have been adopted by several other big clubs in different leagues.

But from my understanding most of those players and staff members earn much more money than an average employee. So having a salary cut for a half a dozen months given the current circumstances shouldn't be so much of an issue to them.
I mean the whole globe is down to its knees and there are people who are so badly off right now, Any person with humility would understand the current situation.

When I say "high-earning individuals" I'm talking about their employees who aren't part of the main operation which also part of the salary cut they are doing, obviously these employees in Italy need money and this is the time they needed it the most with the lockdown currently in effect in their country. And from what I am seeing some of the clubs like Barca and Tottenham are asking their players and staff as well to have no pay check in the coming months so I'm really glad that the Juventus management is not alone with this. The dissatisfaction of their staff and players might be gone because it is now being accepted by a lot of clubs already I would expect majority of the clubs to follow what other teams are doing right now with no income going on.

People will remember who help them when they needed it and who failed them.
Some football teams, China, Russia, Albania? are helping Italian people and governments with money, medical goods and staff while European Union and European countries aren't giving much help which is shameful!
Germany help Italy to care of some severity cases. I don't know how many severe patients have been cared by Germany, as one of their supports to the nearly collapsed heath system in Lombardy area but their help is much appreciated if we know Germany has still faced with their own pressure during the pandemic in their nation.

Other teams should follow too, even some foods or surgical masks that costs nothing, not even a one month salary of the least paid player, will be much appreciated by everyone...
Kindly help will be always appreciated.

Good news, at first we have some signals for better results from the virus containment in Italy. Accoridng to ISS's updates, the new infected cases in the last 5 days have been in a mild downward trend but we need next 2 weeks to have a more confirmed downward trend. Let's see.
https://www.epicentro.iss.it/coronavirus/bollettino/Infografica_30marzo%20ENG.pdf

The expansive orders till end of April (if will be approved by the President Conte) will help the nation has more effective fight against the virus and this pandemic.

In the meantime, locals have to help the government and themselves by seriously obey lockdown's rules. Just obey rules next 4 weeks, then they can start to think of enjoying lives again.

I agree with you. According to the article:

Quote
Juventus' first-team squad and coach Maurizio Sarri have agreed to give up four months' wages to help the club manage the economic impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

It is clear that the players and the coach are synced with club about it. It's not like Juventus made it mandatory for everyone to do. Seeing the current happenings around the world, particularly in Italy, the home to the serie A league; they decided that its best not to get their salaries and that's fine. I mean, These are people earning thousands and millions of dollars/euros. Currently, there are people in different parts pf the world who are obeying the stay at home rule with nothing to eat. It's a case or die of the virus or die of hunger.

Let's not forget that Juventus isn't making any money as a club at the moment with all competitions/activities postponed.

Have you seen this news about Juventus reaching an agreement with their players on not having salaries on the months of March up to June? I was surprised that the players and staff even agree to this since they'll be losing 90 million Euros in wages and I know that some of their staff are not high earning individuals as compared to their players aside from that this will just give a big dissatisfaction towards the managent, some of their staff and players might leave the club because of this. Also with this news it already gives us a big hint that Serie A's 2019-2020 season is now over with the agreement of wages not being paid up until June which just marks the start of the transfer window for next season.

I think most teams are trying as much as they can to give up to the communities thou some events don't get much publicity. For example today i saw a video of As Roma representatives delivering care packages to elderly season ticket holders. It was kind of cool and soothing to see the elderly smile amidst this corona crisis that has hit Italy so hard
https://www.cbssports.com/soccer/news/roma-delivers-care-packages-to-elderly-ticket-holders-amid-coronavirus-lockdown-in-italy/
Juventus then AS Roma and we might see more football clubs in Italy do the same things. Not truly the same but in some types of different donations, and care packages or any other PPEs that are vital in the period of the war against SARS-Cov-2, as their contributions to help the communities and help their nation in general. I am proud of AS Roma, the club I love for decades because of their contributions as given by the news above.

Forza Roma, Forza Italy, and go onwards to beat the epidemic.

Ok now is official, Juventus is always the better team in Italy.

Official note is here: https://www.juventus.com/en/news/news/2020/company-notice-2803.php

Players, coaches and Juventus made a historical deal, they all gave up their wages for the final part of this season and saved around 90 million euros to the company.

You have to realize it is not same for Serie A as to other leagues, Italy is under a lot more trouble with corona than all other nations, hell there are like 10-20 nations who are seriously considering lockdown that doesn't have Italy numbers COMBINED yet. Italy was just a cautionary tale for all other nations to close borders and keep everyone at home because they saw what happened in Italy when you do not take care of it very quickly.

Maybe UK will be back in few months, maybe france? Germany could, but I doubt Italy could comeback this season, their nation is going through something catastrophic right now, close to a thousand people die every day, let me put it this way, war between USA and Iraq and there was less Americans death in decade long war than people who died in Italy this past week alone. In one week Italy lost more lives to corona than USA lost in all of Iraq war. Doubt they can start back the league that easily honestly.

Juventus exec predicts NBA-like trades during the summer transfer window due to COVID-19

Could the world of soccer take a page from the NBA trade deadline during the transfer window?

Smart is not enough, there must be skills

Many other players will follow them next weeks. I don't understand Italiano so does it mean they agreed to cut their salaris for 45 days only or cut and allocate those amount of salaries for charity donations to fight against the Covid-19 in Italy.

Juventus and president family already donate over 10m $ for Covid.
That money are saved from the balance of the team.

Players are not playing even training so they want to save money for next year, they are talking probably about 35-40m € with taxes saved.

That's a brilliant idea. When a sporting event is not happening, the cost of operation and management is nil, but the budget to conduct that tournament is already allocated, so it will be better if those funds or part of those funds can be donated for the cure of Covid 19 virus or help in building of hospitals or safety equipment for doctors.

It should have happened because now people are in dire need of donations at this time in almost all countries raising funds to heal from Covid-19.
Are other clubs also doing the same thing to raise Covid-19 donations because in Italy there are currently so severe death rates due to Covid-19.

My honest opinion is the league will not end, if they will able to play they will play Euro cups and not the league.
It is a hope of all football fans.

Anyway, according to onefootball CR7 Buffon Chiellini Bonucci already agreed to a cut on their salaries equal to 45 days.

This ofcourse is very important if it will be true because the initiative is from the player with a big "image" and othes will follow them.

The president of Serie A alredy said he will give the title to someone, somehow.
The cancelation of this year should be a not valid option.

I just hope every league is able to finish. Even if it takes another 2-3 months to get back started then that’s fine. We have to finish the season.

Better option is they extend this season or cancel because right now Juventus is leader but Lazio and Inter Milan are also doing very good  we have very good end of this season if they cancel then Serie A can face some financial deficit but this is manageable and they can set this all and if they extend this season then its also could be very good for all teams.

I think more or less every league is over.I don’t know if it is right to give the title to Juventus although I believe they have played better than anyone else there are still a lot of games missing and the points difference is low. What I find strange is that in the news yesterday someone was saying that England may have not a champion for this year while Liverpool is 25 points ahead and it is clear they are the Champions.

That depends on the regulation of every nation, for example in Spain they already said: "We will never do playoff".
In Italy, for example, they always used the "title to the 1st with the same number or played games" but hey, the rule can change but in the past, they used this one.

The only logical thing is to give the title to Juventus cause is ahead or eventually, a 2 games between Juve and Lazio the other teams are too behind.
Lazio is doing great work and deserves to have a chance imo. I am a supporter of that opinion and 2 games between Juventus and Lazio is the best option tho, however the other teams can complain too about this which will be problematic. Complex and unclear situation  Undecided

I do not think it is fair to be in favor of voiding the league, it will leave the clubs side with so much deficit to fill and repay.
The best case scenario remains to play out the season whenever the pandemic is over.

The lower tiers like serie d with less budgets can be voided with a grant issued to each clubside, just like the england national league side.
This season 2019/2020 must be played out completely.
