....................

Intermilan last season was able to impress us as a team that have a financial problems, but still Inzaghi was able to build the squad well enough to win the scudetto, what happened at the beginning of this season is of course very tragic for Intermilan, they not only drew from teams like Genoa and Monza but lost 3 points from eternal rivals is something that hurts very much after their dominance over Milan so far, this season Inzaghi obviously has a lot of difficult work to do and after the change of ownership of the team a few months ago, but what many fans expected of the new ownership did not happen and we can see how passive Intermilan was in the transfer market winter.

I think Intermilan will find it difficult to maintain their positive performance this season as defending champions, because with the absence of team improvement it will actually make them slump when other teams succeed in upgrading their current team, in a tight competition it is clear that retaining players and old coaches does not guarantee that a team can maintain their performance like last season, because other teams will actually improve the quality of their team for big ambition in the new season.

Inter Milan is really up against it this season. Having won the Scudetto last season despite the financial problems, the expectations were certainly high for them. However, they opened this season with that draw against Genoa, then another one against Monza, and it was so painful a defeat to AC Milan. It clearly indicates that Inter needs to do more improvements especially in the midst of growingly tight competition. If not a lot of improvements are done then it will be very tricky for them to retain the title especially when other teams are strengthening.

I was shocked by Varane retirement, i just dont see it coming.

I know injurys are a hell when they chase you but, i dont know he was that bad injured. 31 years old in modern football is "young".

I also was surprised by Varane's decision to retire, especially considering he is just 31 years old. In today's world game, many players are still at their best since that age is considered peak. However, constant injuries can indeed be a big Perhaps influencing factor on decisions like this one. That is felt by Varane maybe his body no longer able to compete at the highest levels and for, us as fans, this decision came quite suddenly.

What Atalanta experienced was indeed beyond many people's predictions, how could they lose to a team that had never won and they felt it when playing at home. Not only that, because in terms of the game they also lost statistically to Como, so this was not great luck for Como but they deserved this victory. At first I was quite confident when they were able to take the lead first, but their advantage was reversed by Como so that Como won 3-1. The goal scored in the final minutes was not enough to bring Atalanta to get points in this match. Atalanta must evaluate what happened in this match, because in my opinion they experienced a slight decline, they will be left far behind if they continue like this.
Not only in the match against Como but it has been seen since several early matches of the season that Atalanta's performance at the beginning of this season was very bad and I think the Atalanta coach must immediately make improvements to solve this problem.
If we look at previous seasons, Atalanta has also experienced something like this and the coach who has been with them for a long time has many ways to solve this problem so I still believe that Atalanta will be able to rise in the near future.
However, the defeat against Como was a big highlight because it was a bit embarrassing for the Atalanta team who lost at home against a promoted team.

Atalanta was really very disappointing in the game they played against Como and i can't really say it was fatigue that affected the players because the champions league match they played against Arsenal was about 5 days before they played Como so it is believed that the players has rested a lot. Atalanta even in previous season are always back and forth, they don't make much improvements neither do they drop so much in form and they have been like that for years if not that they worked so hard last season and won the Europa league title.
Ever since Atalanta won the Europa league last season, a lot is expected from them this season and starting up with this poor performance won't do the club any good, imagine playing 5 games in the serie A and winning just 2 and lost 3. The only game that they did better was the champions league match against Arsenal because they actually tried to draw that match so the coach needs good tactics on how he can step up their game and make better improvements.

What a strange start of the season.

While a not optimal start was predictrable for Napoli and Juventus, since they changed a lot in the pitch and their coaches too, this was not predictable for Atalanta and Inter.

Atalanta got 3 lost game in 5 games, and Inter lost around 5 point in comparison the past year.

It was fun to see 3 months ago that Inter's fan were calling out for giving the golden balon to Lautaro who scored 1 goal in the last 15 games.
Of the 4 teams you mentioned, there are 2 other teams that also experienced the same thing, namely AC Milan and AS Roma. Indeed, at the beginning of this season there were many teams that started badly and even far from what we thought. The beginning of the season is usually scary, because some teams are still looking for the best formula and if they are unlucky then they will get bad results. Even Torino, who is actually not much talked about to be able to compete at the top, can actually perform well and until the 5th week they can lead the Serie A points this season. I hope Torino can be consistent enough so that they can compete until the end of the season.

I was shocked by Varane retirement, i just dont see it coming.

This news is quite surprising, because he had just joined Como and only played a few minutes to help Como, but suddenly he decided to retire early at the age of 31.
I don't know for sure what the reason was for him deciding to retire at the age of 31, but maybe one of the reasons was because of the injury he suffered. It's rare for me to see a player who decides to retire at an age like Varane, so I'm sure he has considered this very carefully so that he made a decision that makes us a little surprised by the decision he made.

Inter has not been in a very good form since this season and its not been productive but then they have managed to show some average performance both in the champions league and their domestic leagues which i don't see as enough as they could achieve much better as a defending champion from last season, against Manchester city, they had a draw which i see as a considerably fair result because city is such a big opponent in their good form so i was expecting city to even win this game but interestingly they manage to get a draw and back on the domestic league, despite their poor performance, they have been able to still maintain a position around the top four so they still have chance to build.

I have the impression, like Real Madrid, of seeing a very tired team and also very exhausted from last season's effort
I always say that these poor players play too much and a lot, in my opinion that's the reason
I don't see any other reason, the team is the same, the coach is the same and they haven't suddenly become poor
After a few players were injured, the rotation in Real Madrid has decreased considerably. This puts Real Madrid and Ancelotti in a difficult position. Although they have kept the same basic squad as last year, they are far from performing as last year. Ancelotti is a very good coach and I am sure he will find a solution for this.

That's sad but I believe the club will learn to adjust without him after all they were able to do so during the time of his absence. He'd be greatly missed because he had such impact at clubs like Madrid and Man UTD (although the latter, not so much) but he'd still be missed and he won't be the first young player to retire too.
He must be joking, he only play for one match and now he want to retire, it seems he don't want to play football anymore and he use injury as the excuse he want to retire. I think he don't want to play in small teams, he never play in small teams in his whole career.

After all Como can win against Atalanta wasn't caused by him, so losing him isn't really give any impact to Como.
That's the point. He's retirement won't make any difference to the club. I'm glad he's retiring, maybe the injury is so bad that if he ignores it and continues to play, he may get more that could prove fatal to him so the best thing was to quit.
I just hope Como will pick up and continue to succeed and shock other bigger teams like they did to Atalanta because of a truth no one saw that win coming. If they can continue to use the element of surprise on other teams, I'm pretty certain they will become a club no one would want to jome with.

True. Atalanta started the season unstable several times from their four matches, they were only able to win twice and lose twice and now it continues to be three defeats from five matches. Atalanta as the defending champion of the European league seems to have no significant development at the beginning of the season if it continues like this I am not sure they can finish in the top four of Serie A, even in the European arena they will not be able to compete anymore. Atalanta needs to improve starting now because seria a is still very long, and there is still a lot of time to make the best squad and find their best game again.

The defeat from como must be used as a moment to rise in the next match, the defeat from como can be said to be very embarrassing because como finally managed to achieve its first victory in seria a. This promoted club finally managed to embarrass atalanta in front of its own supporters. Como apart from being a promoted club also started the season less convincingly, but they were able to give a big surprise to Atalanta, So atalanta must take this defeat as a punishment that they must rise immediately.

Inter players could be tired after the match with City, and I also think Milan was a little lucky in this match, a draw could have been a good result for this match, but for Fonseca the win was an important result, because of the bad start of the season it was important for them to get a win to show that they are able to beat big teams. I think that Inter will recover, and will be able to win, they will also beat Udinese, and I am not sure about Milan yet, but in the next match with Lecce I expect them to win.

She seemed very tired to me too, yes I'm right. In fact, you lost badly against Milan, which I would never have expected and among other things, all the predictions had you as a winner.
I believe there is a tiredness problem in Inzaghi's team and they should understand how to resolve this or everything can get out of hand.

This does happen but in rare cases and seeing it happening to Atalanta who are the defending champions of the Europa League is very surprising. They played well in the champions league and keep losing games or play poorly in the domestic league which is something worth mentioning. If they really want to compete for the top four this season, they need to top up their performance and become resistible to score by their opponents, most especially the mediocre teams. The league matches is not up to ten yet, they still have lots of time to improve their performance in order to finish in a better position in the league and also continue their good gameplay in the UEFA Champions League matches too.
Actually this result really surprised everyone. Como is a promoted team and they have not won a league match this season. Atalanta is the UEL champion last season and although not one of the best teams in Serie A but they are still a very strong team in Serie A. This defeat was beyond everyone's expectation. But I think Como deserved to win this match. They played impressively with two quick goals in the second half. They scored 3 goals in 20 minutes and it was really amazing. I see Atalanta has not had a consistent performance this season. The draw against Arsenal was quite good but it seems like some players are tired which makes their performance decrease in this match.

Meanwhile, we know that Inter Milan is not as strong as last season, the last time they lost in the derby match against AC Milan, it was indeed a bit surprising because previously they managed to hold Man City to a draw in the Champions League. I predict that Inter Milan will be able to win the match with a narrow score over Udinese this weekend, so that the additional three points can improve their position in the standings. Personally, I would consider the match to be relatively easy for Inter Milan to overcome, because at a glance the gap in squad depth between the two teams is clearly visible.

Wow this is clearly not true Varane clearly suffered an injury while defending his new club Como and that is not new to him he is often injured both in the national team and the club he defends, he is having a hard time and he has been playing football for half his life defending a big club you clearly do not respect him he is one of the good CB players of course you have to respect him.

Varane decided this also has a reason maybe for him in football is enough of course football players also have their hobbies besides that it could be that with what he experienced he wanted to focus on himself and his family especially players his age it is natural to make that decision, Como can be better without him that is a good thing their victory over Atalanta is quite clear so don't blame Varane that he made the wrong decision

Is very funny seeing how the whole thing about Raphaël Varane turn out because is been long I saw this kind of thing in football were a club will signed a player and after playing a match he decided to retire because is something that cost alot of effect on a club, imagine spending the kind of money Como did while signing him and they have never even enjoy or benefited any positive impact from him, is actually very bad for the club.

It will certainly affect the club in so many ways because they use the opportunity they would have signed some other players to signed him, so this means that they are back to square one were they started, well I wouldn't blame Raphaël Varane, perhaps he has noticed that the injury will pose a serious threat on his health if he continues playing because there should be a reason for taken that decision.

But i have bad news for Como fans because their player who had just joined from Manchester United Raphaël Varane has decide to be retired and since joining with Como Varane only playing 23 minutes because after his debut match Varane got heavy injury and this makes him have to retired from football and at the beginning of season when Varane has decide to joining with Como i thought he will bringing positive impact for this team but unfortunately he was frustrated with his injury and decide to retired

Real Madrid were smart to sell Varane and Casemiro to Manchester United with not cheap costs. They very likely knew very well about physical conditions of those players and don't want to take risk to sign new contracts and pay these players high salary. They smelt risk that these players will soon have bigger problems with their bodies and fitness so that they will less be able to play in many matches and will have less contributions with time.

Manchester United were stupid as they did recent seasons in many player transfers, not only in these two transfers for Varane and Casemiro. About Como, it's bad news for them as Varane, if can play, will help to make their defense system better. About Varane, I guess he saw things wrong with his body and felt it's enough, so he decided to stop his player career. With many seasons in Real Madrid and especially in golden era, Varane already won many titles at club level, and at national level they won World Cup 2018 with France. It's a dream of many players so Varane with these achievements can retire with happiness about his career.

The current score of the Atalanta vs Como match is completely unexpected, namely 1-3 and the advantage is for Como in this match. And now there isn't even much match time left.  because the match has entered the 86th minute. It seems like this is the only and most surprising match this week. Because how could Atalanta experience defeat at home and even by an opponent who is one of the promoted teams this season.
Atalanta are still struggling with their uncertainty. The loss of Scammacca seems to have had a big impact on Gasperini's squad at the moment with Lookman now back in the side and not breaking down like before but it wasn't enough to get them back on track at the start of the season.

It was definitely unexpected that Como could get 3 points from Atalanta although this kind of thing always happens for a surprise but still it was a big loss for Atalanta when they lost their home match.
With this result, Atalanta was thrown to 12th place and of course this is not comfortable for them considering 5 matches with 2 wins and 3 defeats as well as being the weakest club in terms of defense because they have missed 11 goals, obviously this does not reflect them as a dark horse club in previous seasons.
Atlanta who is currently Europa Cup winner having their fourth defeat of this season with play just seven games which is clearly indicating how awful they are specially after losing against Como things are going from bad to worse, and they needed to think about their strategy because if they are fail to do required changes then surely we are going to have them into problematic area.

Their finishing is completely out of the way as they are having in last season and return of Lookman is surely going to have good impact on them, but they need to work on their defense which is giving them not good support they already concede 11 goals from their 5 games with performance like this we can't expect them into better place because now in this season things are going to be more challenging as many teams are preparing for the better performance, and they are also ready for this.

~~ Snip ~~
Udinese will definitely fight to get full points during the match and playing at home gives them a great chance to win. But on the other hand, Inter Milan will also play more carefully because they need a win to move up to a better position in the standings. The match is indeed difficult to predict because the appearance of both teams is not much different in the previous matches.

My prediction is that the match will end in a draw because Inter Milan will definitely play better so as not to lose full points in the match even though Udinese has the opportunity to play at home.
I think it is difficult for Udinese to beat Inter Milan even though they are the hosts. On paper, Simone Inzaghi squad is more favored to secure full points, Udinese chances of creating a surprise are relatively low, although it is possible that the match will end in a draw. In the last five meetings between the two teams, Inter Milan managed to win 4 and lost once, Udinese clearly needs a lot of luck to get an additional 3 points, not just hard work. Currently, Udinese is ranked third in the standings, with slightly better statistics than Inter Milan, but that does not change the fact that they are a mid-table club.

Meanwhile, we know that Inter Milan is not as strong as last season, the last time they lost in the derby match against AC Milan, it was indeed a bit surprising because previously they managed to hold Man City to a draw in the Champions League.
