This and that. Roma can beat Bologna in a direct match and take over a fourth position from Bologna by having same points but with better goal difference. However there are more matches till the season ending and Roma will have to meet some big opponents too (I didn't check their schedule but assume your information is correct) so they will have risk to lose points.

This will cause them to face with risk of being flipped by Bologna and even by Atalanta, Napoli. Assume Juventus and AC Milan will take the second and third position, Roma will have to compete with Bologna, Atalanta and Napoli for best, a fourth position, and worse the fifth position. If Serie A ends this season well, they will have five spots for Champions League 2024 - 2025 but Italian clubs have to fight for it in Europa League and Conference League.

I don’t think there is any point in predicting or discussing who will be the champions of Serie A this season because it is pretty much clear at this point that Inter Milan will be the champions of Serie A this season. The point gap is too huge and 9 matches are not enough to coming close to Inter Milan let alone prevent them from winning Serie A.

The relegation battle is rather more exciting. It is getting very spicy out there. There is only a 4 point difference between the 13th placed team and 18th placed team. No one in this range should be feeling safe about their stay in Serie A for next season. I believe Salernitana will be relegated this season. They have only 14 points right now. The comeback from this will be too hard and pretty much impossible.

The 4th place fight is also very exciting as Bologna and Roma are fighting for it. But I think the way Roma are playing right now, they will take it.

Even though Napoli were ideal last season, they are still not one of the clubs that can be consistent, because competing in Serie A requires a long lasting mentality and reputation. For example Inter, Juventus and Milan, even though they lost last season in the race for the trophy, this season they still exist and in any situation in Serie A these clubs have become an inseparable part. After Inter failed to extend their trend in the UCL, this made them even more focused on locking up the trophy this season. So I'm sure Inter, Milan and Juventus will secure UCL tickets next season.

First of all, I would say this is not impossible to win against every single opponent. But the likelihood of that happening is very unlikely. And they will also have to play the Europa League quarter-final against Milan. And the matches of both competitions are going to get quite congested. That will probably mean a few players getting injured. So looking at all the facts, I think Roma will probably not finish in the top four and they will be very lucky if they are able to hold on to their fifth position, to be honest. I also don't think they will be winning the Europa League as well.

Seria A is difficult and challenging for everyone this season. It takes only the strong to survived. We can be easier on these teams but not when we're guiding  our odds which will results to profits for us. Napoli have failed to utilized their chances of winning this season, they lost points against easy opponents due to underrating percentage on these opponents. Perhaps Napoli will bounce back stronger but definitely not this season, we have watch closely how this particular elite team failed to meet the top after one brilliant season.

Damnit! They have tougher games ahead than I thought, how they handle these game and pressure would definitely show the strength of De Rossi as manager.
The last six games looks crazy and it looks like they'd only be able to win two out of the last six which would be against Genoa and Empoli.
Also I wonder how they'll cope with the pressure amd games of the European Europa League Competition without a proper squad with depth, they could go forward and also fall off. Anything could happen in these times.

Ac Milan and Inter Milan are separated by 14 points at the top of the league. Though Ac Milan is still competing in the Europa League while Inter Milan only focused on winning the Seria A championship this season, Ac Milan's remaining nine games are more tougher than Inter Milan's. Inter Milan will win the title this season despite everything.


Napoli simply looked like a squad that had just been promoted to their league this season, and their performance was very poor, i did not see Napoli as a team that has return to their winning ways after their Champions League loss to Barcelona. Napoli is struggling to get into the top of the league this season despite winning the Seria A championship previous season. Napoli is nine points out of the top four in the league right now, in seventh place. I didn't expect Napoli to struggle with their games this season, even if winning the league is going to be tough to achieve again this season, at least they should qualify for the next Champions League but i don't see any chances again. In their upcoming match, Napoli will play against Atalanta, I can see if they are back to their high level of play.

De Rossi’s Roma has a great chance to finish in the top four. They just have to be more consistent. They cannot afford to lose or drop points at this moment. The team that is ahead of them, Bologna, has a 3-point advantage over them. Bologna is also performing well at this moment. So it is going to be hard for Roma to actually finish in the top four. But it is obviously still possible. And the way Roma has improved, I think they have enough time to achieve the fourth position and finish in that position.
