Yes, is one of the best options because bitcoin for the long run is a win-win game, we can be sure about some facts bumping the price, like the day when the last bicoin get mined, that will send the price to the moon. So, save btc for our kids mean save them for more than 15 years, there is no way to see a loss in this move.
Honestly, I would agree with this idea with the time before, but at this point I was somewhat less confident about it when the price of bitcoin was dropping sharply.

This is a such a good idea , when your friend started to save money for his son through investing bitcoin. It is just fine because bitcoin is a store of value, the best thing that he will not paying anymore taxes. It is really helps fulfilling your friend’s dream for his kid. Think wisely, when the price is high ,just take that opportunity to sell it high and use profit for buying a car , a house and going to university. AFter that, then buy again bitcoin and hold them again until the price will getting high. This way , he will recover himself from any worries.

If its last year investment, That would possibly okay to invest in Crypto But now, I don't think it's a good time to go with the chaos that's happening now on cryptocurrency world.
I agree with this fact to save my BTC for children, and I understand his concern, and the question is what to do? I think it's best to keep that money and hope for the best, but it's a game with the nerves and the brain. All this process must endure with the hope that the BTC will again be the top of the task. My conclusion is: if bitcoin was purchased when it was over $ 3,000, then that money should definitely be kept for children, if it was purchased while the price was below $ 2,000, it may be time to spend that money.

I really do not see the excellence of Bitcoin in a long time as you say, what I see in the moment is a very clear fact, the value of bitcoin seems to be weakening over time, and the bitcoin savings for our children in the future, it would probably be a useless thing when bitcoin is not really reliable to become a long term investment. We should have other plans for the children, the assets that can invest in long-term, gold and real estate, that would be better choices and help our kid get a lot of money in the future

I don't think so that would be a good idea to do because first and foremost saving money in btc wallet is through online and its amount affects to the actual price of bitcoin.

As much as I love crypto currency when it comes to my kids future I wouldn't put it at risk,

Yes the bitcoin is a good way to save money for our kids because, in bitcoin it is not necessary first to make money for it just need to be diligent and persistent in ourselves if we want to earn money we need hard work and patience. To get money for your children? for our family? and of course for ourselves! It's very easy to earn money here on bitcoin just by scaling and you get what you want.
But? bitcoin is weak this year because of its very low price. but hopefully we will not lose hope because bitcoin price will increase too! We will earn more and more money.
