These means that there is steady improvement in the development of AI and with time, if every company can afford to buy this robots, they will actually go for it, to reduce costs of paying workers which will reduce the rate of employment by private companies but I think government jobs will still be available because the government can not allow people to suffer without any source of income.

When we assume things this way, do we also consider the cost of affordability and maintenance cost? I'm just curious because I don't think robots, AI or whatever they are being called which can efficiently carried out the task in some companies can be that easy to afford. No matter how rampant it usage grows, there'll be companies that will not completely get rid of human labor. Most private companies here in my country underpay their employees and switching from human operation to machine operation will definitely cost them more when you sum up their monthly expenses and compare to machines operation cost.

Whether to use robots or humans as labor and which option is more beneficial needs to be considered based on many factors involved. What you say makes sense but if you look at it from another perspective, you will see that using robots also brings superior benefits compared to using humans. Businesses may have to spend more money on maintenance costs if they use robots, but in return they will find it easier to manage workers, reduce work accidents and can cut many costs such as insurance, pensions and allowance...Not to mention, using robots will help the production process run more smoothly, bringing higher productivity because they do not need to rest and are not distracted while working...In general, the benefits of using robots are numerous and that is why the demand for them is increasing.

Currently, the cost of using robots is still quite expensive and many businesses do not intend to use them en masse, but what if robots were mass produced at low cost?
There would really be those cons and pros on which there are really just that those individuals who would really be that only focusing out on the negative things instead on trying out to look for the bigger picture.
There are really those people who do really that being close minded on which they dont really tend to accept out on any explaination or in speaking about other things on the moment that they do make out some generalization or having those thoughts unto something. It might sound absurd but there are people whose really just that like that and there's nothing we can do if they would really be thinking up that way.
AI is really that something that beneficial for human kind in general sense. It doesnt really just make out work or jobs becomes even easy but also it is really that doing with efficiency on which human couldnt be able to do so but actually there are still jobs on which human beings will really be that able to do job well and this is something which is really that a certain industry that cant be replaced.
Dont be afraid if AI advancement would really be that moving forward on which this is something that inevitable and something that cant really be stopped in speaking about progress.
We do know that innovation is something that will really be continuing and this would really be able to benefit people or human kind on which this has been the primary reason on why inventors
would really be creating that something which is really that something useful or could make life easier.

A Bitcoiner chooses. A slave obeys.
When the first machine was invented, people thought workers could take it easy. But what happened? More factories appeared, the workload increased, and capitalists were all smiles, while workers still had to toil away. When computers first came out, we thought we could say goodbye to pen and paper. But what happened? Now, we can't even go to the bathroom without taking our laptops, afraid of missing an email. And don't even get me started on phones—we thought they would broaden our horizons, but our view has shrunk to the size of a screen. Many jobs are now completed with AI assistance, and tasks that used to take three days now have to be done in one. Keynes once said that by the end of the 20th century, technological advancement would reduce the average workweek to 15 hours, but maybe only the Nordic countries have achieved that.

I think that AI alone will not really take over any jobs. We currently only use it as you said, AI assistance. It has basically become a useful tool that helps us and makes the job easier. But the job still remains as is.

In the future when we have even newer technologies then perhaps a mix of those technologies will take over old jobs. But right now only humans are versatile enough to get any and all facets of a job done. That is not something AI can do.

In a place where there is problem, when a solution is proffer and executed, there will be another problem for sure. This AI evolution might be a good thing and perhaps helps mankind reduce their energy consumption, we need helps in some aspect but I'm sure that AI can't do everything, they are not as perfect as they are been displayed, and when AI are need, maybe humans will be needed more for creating more AI, jobs replacement of AI and creating more for humans.

As much as I don't like this AI taking jobs, don't you think it will helpful if farmers have AI robots that will help them makes mechanical farming even more easier. There are heavy machines available for men to do all the farm work they want to do but there is man power consumption at some points, I think it will be worth it if there is more of their extension to agriculture, believe me we will eat free disease food and others that man may not be able to do but there should be limitations in their usage.

Along with the convenience that technology brings, there is also a problem. With these two, development continues unabated. Here, preferences manage the work and these preferences are directly proportional to the convenience or how the problem is used. As always in the examples you give, when something new emerges, something else emerges.

Only development or only the solution are very difficult possibilities. When there is a problem, development also emerges as a solution over time and this process continues in this way.

Don't bring government into this discussion because they don't seem to care and no one counts on them again as concerning their survival. I can only see this things coming to reality in western countries and not probably in Africa.

The invention of Ai has certainly made humans put minimal or no effort to do some specific things. But a lot of people are of the opinion that Ai might take over a lot of jobs in the future. I think this is actually a fictional thing, artificial intelligence cannot take over every job.

AI cannot replace humans in all positions or all fields, but with its development, it has been and is making many people unemployed. The development of AI brings us certain benefits, but it also threatens the future of many people, especially manual workers.

You just have to make sure that what are into isn't replaceable, there are certain jobs that would always require human input to achieve.

Not everyone is highly qualified, not everyone gets an important position in the company and many people do not even have the right to choose their own job. For example: what do you do and are you sure that your job will definitely not be replaced by AI in the future?

There's also a theory that Ai's might start malfunctioning and this might result to an outbreak of war between robots and humans, is there a possibility in this?

The AI era has just begun and right now things are still very basic, they are not as perfect as in science fiction movies. And it's hard to say what will happen, but bad things could happen if someone uses AI for bad purposes or harms our planet.

Yes but we can't relay on it alone by the way it can't function on is own unless there is an input of man power who installed it and whatever have not been configured inside it cannot just come up by itself, so if human beings make mistakes during it's configuration, differently the computer is bound to make an error or mistakes too, that's why you see sometimes they say our system have been corrupted, and it's Malfunctioning any how. Therefore, AI cannot stand on it's own without the input of humans, so Artificial intelligence cannot take over work but rather they are just there to assist, to reduce and makes works easier and faster for us but man is the wisdom behind AI and no doubt about it.

That is the kind of development people want, so that they can upgrade to the next level in the country, and it will make many people to learn more about technology so that they will be able to flow with their online job because there are many online jobs that is more paying than the physical Jobs, which you need to be going to work by transport every day before you will be entitle to your wage or salary. You can see what is happening in bitcoinstalk, where full members above are wearing signature and avatar to earn bitcoin weekly, which is more higher than the monthly payment of some people in their working place, why are you afraid? all you need to do is to upgrade yourself so that you can be fix to where you will be earning dollars weekly or monthly in the future.

Illusion. A very naive illusion. Your "paradise" can disappear faster than you get the rank of legend. You mistakenly think that by working online, you can be irreplaceable by the same AI robot. Unfortunately, many do not understand that it is physical labor, everything that a robot cannot skillfully replace with human hands, that will be the most in-demand labor. For example, in our time, in our very nervous and stressful times, people very often need the help of psychologists. Can AI become a psychologist and really provide the help that professional psychotherapists provide? Therefore, take off your rose-colored glasses. Everything that you do on the Internet, thinking that you are "earning," will, very soon and faster than everything else, replace you.

At first when AI began to trend, I thought the idea behind this AI were limited to online AI were you can chat with a programmed and get your responses base on improvement but after seeing Elon Musk Optimus and the Robots car, I was shocked, surprised and have changed my ignorance of this AI. There was one robot serving drinks in the opening and I have to agree with you that if this things get improved, humans wouldn't get a job again.

The price of those Optimus was price to range from $20 to $30k, now imagine if you buy 5 of that and use them in your restaurant, you are done for life paying wages to your workers and they don't need to be tipping them like many workers do in their job. Just charge them and instruct them to work as you want and you are good to go. People will even be fascinated to come to eat in the place where this AI robots works than see human interfere in their things. The world is rapidly changing my friend.
Despite of having those kind of replacement of jobs but doesnt mean that it would really be stopping there on which there would really be still jobs that it would really be that still requiring some human intervention or operation on which we can say that it would really be that still relevant. We are really that progressing forward in  terms of technological advancement and creations on which there would comes a time that everything
will really be that automated and that will really be bringing out that kind of convenience in life.Who doesnt want that? The thing on here is that people do really think off that well about those negative or effects that it has. It cant be denied that it will really be affecting human being labor and intervention on which it will really be causing up even more higher unemployment but this do really falls out on someones personal problem.
Therefore, if you do find yourself working in job on which you do seem that it will really be replaced by some robot in the future then it will really be that ideal that you should really be that getting prepared.
Always set up back ups in terms of potential side hustles or jobs on which it could soon later to be your full time job. It wont really be easy but there's nothing we can do if that day comes on where tons of people
will be laid off because they've been replaced by robots.

AI is a great gift to humanity but the creators of it also put out the notion and mindsets that terrifies us. Truly it improved a Lot for humans but the question is that is it worth it?….because of Ai originality and authenticity in a lot of things has dropped and that is a major problem that we overlook. The fact is it will keep getting modified and improvements on it will increase so will the creativity and thinking capabilities of those who excessively depend on it will also depreciate, it’s a give and take situation and a few years from now we don’t know what the situation will look like entirely, but to be very honest I don’t think it’s worth it.

Innovation will never stop, it will continue as long as human life is there on the planet. Just like Uber and Airbnb have not destroyed the already existing Taxi and Hotel industry rather they have transformed these sectors, on same way AI won't eliminate the human factor in any business. We still need humans to monitor or manage the AI based processes. As human we must accept this change and get ourselves ready to adopt this new technology otherwise we won't be able to survive in coming era which will be dominated by AI. A classical example is the downfall of Nokia mobile, which refuses to adopt the new emerging Android OS while Samsung adopted the change and is ruling the current mobile market.

It seems like every new tech just adds more pressure instead of making life easier. We need to find a balance and not let it dictate our lives. But I don't think they'll replace us afterall.

New technology created by smart people in this world will indeed not be able to replace the role of humans as a whole in all sectors of life. But we who have seen new technology being created at this time must see for which sectors the technology was created so that we can know that certain sectors may rely more on technology than human power. So each of us must be able to become smarter so that it is still used in managing technology and also in using it for something we consider important.

And now we all just hope that the presence of technology at this time will not really have an impact on the loss of our jobs as humans who need income. Because when the presence of technology can make it easier to complete certain jobs, it is clear that everyone must also be able to use it in order to increase their own income. So we should not consider it as pressure in life because we also cannot reject the development of technology that over time continues to be created through fairly skilled hands.

Dude, I'm not even mad at you for using AI to write this thread (I mean, come on, we all do it). But seriously, if we're both utilizing AI and still whining about its effects... that's just us being lazy. with the way things are going, your "job" is basically a ticking time bomb waiting to be replaced by some super-smart AI.

It's now official that elun musk has launched the project he has been working on and people were thrilled to see that the robots are actually capable of doing anything they are programmed to do. This can actually pose as a serious threat to some jobs in the future, a lot of people wouldn't even see the need to employ humans in their industry if they are rich enough to afford These robots. When it comes to programming Ai's are now writing codes, this is certainly going to affect the software developers out there in the future. I hope the invention of Ai wouldn't cause more harm than good.

it does make life easier for people who actually needs it, definitely not for the average people though, at most it's just LLM that can help us understand things, the other AI like those tailored for specific task, will be a tremendous help for company that want to improve efficiency by cutting budget for paying employees, which is a bad thing for the average people.
it seems nowadays' technology didn't cater to make things easier for the average people but instead focused on boosting the profit for companies, to be fair though, they are the funder that could make AI happen, so it's to be expected that it will be focused on giving them benefit first.
but it could also make many people that worked blue collar job struggle at the end of the day.

The first two creation that you've mentioned, the machine and the computer,, helped people do their tasks, its different with these AI's that's coming up, they are actually replacing people from their jobs, they are competing with people with their jobs; machines and computers are human-reliant but AI's are not;; they are self reliant and they have intelligence to perform better than computers and humans.
The human work force is now worrying more than ever because AI's are outperforming humans, and many companies and industries are preferring them because they can save a lot, and we all know companies will always look for something that will cut their cost to gain more profits.
