Now, not only the crypto world is experiencing problems with falling prices, on all the world stock exchanges there is a drop in shares. Many analysts predict a new global economic crisis. Everything is very bad.
Yeah I've seen that in the news, it's quite heartbreaking to see what's currently happening with the world's economy. I read an article that the reason for the falling prices of the stock exchange was because people were putting their money on cryptocurrency but when I check the current price of btc and other alts it's still tanking so I guess that article wasn't that reliable anyway it's unfortunate that there are a lot of prediction regarding a new global economic crisis, I really hope this won't happen though, I think that will be horrible for the cryptocurrency market I think that will really cause btc to immensely bleed out.
No, that's because of the expected rate hike. The stock markets fear that the time of cheap money is over. Many expect that, especially in the US, interest rates will rise faster than expected. More concretely, it is the rising interest rates on the bond markets. Another factor is that most exchanges were at record highs, it was only a matter of time for a correction. Also the automated trading on the stock exchanges, through computer programs, is a factor for the falling. Many of the financial markets are controlled by these computer programs and when certain price tags are breached, the Algo Trader throw more securities on the market and thus increase the price erosion. That really has nothing to do with the cryptocurrencies.
