Bounty hunters should come together as one from now on to avoid developers and bounty managers that are treating hunters very wrongfully for example many bounty projects ends up breaking their very own made rulesafter bounty ends or even before bounty ends and secondly we need to start RED TAGGING projects account or bounty managers account that did awful things to bounty hunters or not paying bounty hunters fully after bounty ends.

What do you guys say? do you accept or not?

Some members are already doing that, but these are not participants of that bounty campaign, they are pretty much afraid that they are not going to receive their rewards if they made a complaint or report that bounty campaign, they either create that with the help of their friends or scam busters who are active in reporting bounty campaign.

What do you think about bounty hunters that promote scam companies, where what you are doing might lead to a big loss for someone, should they rally against the bounty hunters to stop this?  You are engaging in a risk type proposition when you promote for someone you know nothing about.  Take the good with the bad.

The bounty hunter must do his own research before participating in any bounty campaign. This research must include the quality of the project, its potential, the pool of tokens allocated to the campaigns and so on. This would help the hunter to avoid wasting his time with worthless projects.
In addition, there are many bounty managers already tagged for promoting scammy projects.

This has already been done. Many members care about this and give many warnings. Bounty managers who are less professional, violating forum rules, etc. must have received red trust from the admin and moderator or the authorities. I am very grateful to the members who took the time to analyze a potential scam bounty project, you are amazing.

Knowing you right and you have the right leave reg tag with them but it looks no effect at all without the help of DT's which are the most capable of tagging them. Only we can do is to report them and give some proof that they are untrustworthy, and crypto police could decide what action they take on it.

As a bounty hunter also before, I'll accept the risk that we are doing. And for us to keep safe and not just wasted our time promoting their project, we identify first their capability and not just we participate because of its attractive rewards which somehow mostly end up into nothing.

This rule already applies, but managers are smarter.
they can change the campaign rules in mid-time. they are innocent because of their record in every campaign that rules can change.
other than that the manager only runs commands from dev.

many have experienced things like this, worked for several weeks and didn't pay for a variety of reasons and then disappeared.  but it's not just the bounty hunter that they don't pay but the management bounty is also not paid in full.  But we can't do anything except just mark the project as a fraud and not pay bounty hunters.

If there is an accusation against any bounty manager, it will be good for a thorough investigation to be done, before red-tagging, because some accusations might be wrong. Although, scam projects are almost every where. Someone can devote some time and this is also the duty and all to everyone to stand their grounds against scam projects and bounty by fishing them out.

There are volunteers of the forum that do this as long as you provide valid proof, they can get negged for those activities.

But as a bounty hunter, you should also be aware on how to choose the projects that you will support from the very beginning. Choose those bounty managers that has standard of choosing the project that they will work with.

he is right because even if you tag that person. after that what? , you still do not get a reward and the project is still a scam and there will also be other bm who will experience the same thing, the only way to avoid is to do your own research on projects that you want to follow and have to take risks.

True that. Bounty managers are same as us, they are also paid and are just hired by them as well. One thing that I hate these days is that the team can just decide to ask KYC from bounty hunters, when it should just be considered sent to their employees.  They announce they are not asking KYC but just when they are about to distribute they suddenly ask which the hunters end up not collecting the tokens in the end.

We should better research projects and if we took part in a scam, it is only our fault. You cannot just enter every bounty campaign and hope that you can get up to 1k USD from each one. Be patient and everything will be great with hunting.

Unfortunately it's usually too late to tag some projects or their managers after they are finished and they understand this... They violate the rules so often just because of this impunity Sad

I agree with your thoughts, but just red tagging has no effect. We need a regulation/rules that can complicate a scam project. For example a new project must have a permit or certificate indicating the project is eligible to be given to the bounty hunter

Good answer, but who do you think is capable of creating such rules or the legitimacy certificate? this forum or SEC? even if there will be anything of such it will still take time, bounty hunters need to safe themselves from scammers until any form of regulation takes place God knows when.

No need to take action as a bounty hunter, the conditions are not good yet for the whole market. The market is not prepared well by the big whales and altcoin prices go down every day. Bounty hunters are a victim of the bear market. Changing the bounty campaigns require an experience by the related board of the team but they usually prefer to ignore this part.

Of course, i agree and this is already happening, i know bounty managers get tags because their cheating sometimes change the rules so participant gets less reward, and he already stops as bounty managers because no one hires him. If you think bounty managers cheating participant, open scam thread, if true, they will get tags

There is no legal backing or undertaking by any project developer to hold anyone responsible that is why there are certain flaws in the system. I do not think any of such protest or unionism will hold waters since we all have different interest and there will be certain persons that will flaunt certain orders if given. Let just leave it the way it is and continue to play the game and take the risk involved

The bounty managers have mentioned a general rule they can change the rules anytime. All the bounty participants have to agree to participate in the bounty campaign. You can choose legit bounties with good projects. They really look good. Then you have to do your own research about the project before working on bounties.
They can change the rules but its not good to change the rules if its against the major rule of the campaign, it can make the hunters be mad for sure. All we can do here is to study first before you participate and don’t just join because your friend told you, i usually join bounties with the top manager because they are very professional on handling the campaign.

If you are participating in a campaign where the manager can change the rules at any moment you are asking to be scammed. What if they change the rules so that they don't have to pay you? They can give you a month to complete the task and after 3 weeks say that it's no longer a month but 3 weeks and those who did not finish everything are not getting paid.

What OP has stated is needful to make the Bounty hunting without issues. Same time we cannot flag or point managers for delay in distribution of the rewards. In most of the projects managers were same as the participants. Managers are requested to calculate the stake for each user based on the participation period. Further the distribution will be done from the project authorities. As everything is on trust we cannot complaint managers, there are managers who have given participants from their own funds to avoid the red tags.
