What just happen to iXcoin?

I was talking it it up on Twitter today but I always do that.

It's at 23,000 Satoshi and that's after the huge buy earlier today.

Someone is buying big and doesn't mind laying a lot.

Could it be that someone finally WOKE UP?

WOW!

I need a little dream cause this time I do NOT know who this is.  Haha!

[FYI:  I'm a man of my word and I've got my sell orders set at ~$10]

nice arb opportunities beween cex and cryptsy some hours ago, should have been prepared for this cex launch, my cryptsy account does not hold btc  Tongue

some ixc changed hand today for a price above 0.004, not a lot, im glad someone crashed the market fast enough on cex.io or more people would have been burned

on the other side, if they just buy a coin without thinking maybe they deserv it a littel bit Roll Eyes

I saw that too but too late.  It would have taken me half hour just to transfer Bitcoin.

He who is vigilent and quick to act deserves the prize.

Congrats to the quick thinker, I would have done the same if I had seen it early enough.

Announcement:  The standing nomination for the iXcoin Foundation Board seat offer for Thomas Nasakioto has hereby expired.  Luke Connell has declined, citing other current projects he is currently involved in; therefore, we currently have no additional pending Foundation Board offers.

This removes some uncertainty and it allows myself [and others] to actively continue searching for talented individuals who believe in the future of iXcoin.

Like always, if you believe you know a good fit for iXcoin, then please don't hesitate to nominate that individual.

Regards,

Vlad [the Cryptian from Cryptlantis] ; )

Confirmation:  The large buys today were not an accident.  They were bought and are being planned for long term holdings.

Looks like the large sells at Cryptsy were also eaten up!

I know 2 of the big sellers.  I wish they had waited a bit longer.

Maybe they'll get to buy back in lower.  You never know.

You know the buyers and the sellers?

Yeah.

I hear things.  I see things.

So in about five months (near end October) the network stops giving bribes of 96 or 48 shitcoins when reward goes to zero.  What's then to keep people mining (or even merge-mining) it?

Transaction fees are gonna go through the roof (at 2 txns per block, perhaps 25 IXC per txn fee needed?) or merge mining is gonna be dropped.

What happens to shitcoin then?  Best get out before everyone else figures it out.

The date has now moved to August, so terminal mining is 2-3 months away.

It's 96 coins now, BTW.

The largest merge mining pool on earth, CEX.io (Ghash.io) with over 40% of the total global Bitcoin mining power is sitting on our board.

So, my question to you, good sir, is:  Can you add?

Nope it's October.  Can you add?

Yeah, can you?

21,000,000 coins total
205799 blocks now = 19,756,754 coins
difference of 1,243,246 coins = 12,950 blocks @ 144 blocks per day = August 26th.

In reality it will end up being closer to Late July - Early August since we're dealing with a moving target.

Now show me your math, genius.

I want you to know that IXC has in fact done quite well in the last down turn.... just compare:

Ixcoin   -  $ 1,838,534

Devcoin  - $   569,154

Absolutely.  Look at the last CryptoBoom high-flyers:

Mega

World

Quark

Digi

Max

Feather

Frei

And other hot namebrand coins [with not features, big communities, big name devs]  - They have all sunk to new lows while iXcoin, a coin with nearly ZERO awareness and development has managed to stay ahead of the best coins out there.

So I can't wait to see what this new boom brings for iXcoin [later this summer].  If we could only get the awareness we need, I think iXcoin would easily go to $10.

BTW:  The new Terminal Mining date has moved to August!

Not much Time left to buy cheap iXcoins.

A quick question guys if I may

I have downloaded the IXC wallet and got my self some coins, but how long should it take to receive them ?

I requested them from cex.io an hour ago, and as of yet they have not arrived in my wallet.

Is this a problem or me being impatient ?

Thanks
Mark

I feel pretty confident to say that this problem lies within CEX.IO. Ive never had problems withdrawaling IXC but have had problems in the past with DVC and BTC. With this said, i use to follow the cex.io thread fairly closely and have come across a number of occasions where guys are stating withdrawals are sluggish. Again nothing to do with the network but with CEX.IO. Be sure to check your spam folders in your email because cex.io does require you to click through a link that is sent via secondary email verification.

NICE price jump  Grin

Price of ixcoin likely went up, because someone made a mistake and thought it was xc coin,

and as you can see, XC coin is quite popular today.

XC coin inadvertently provides exposure for ixcoin, how about that.

Then again, I really don't know why someone may have bought ixcoin up today and that is up to them.

Just my thoughts.

XC coin might be a good speculative investment, I think

That's a possibility but I've been working hard behind the scenes to get some big players to buy.  And multiple guys whom are involved heavily with other popular coins have told me they were gonna buy and hold iXcoin.

It helped that I told them some interesting things, of course.

Haha, still a risky investment but when they see [pics] how over 90% of my Bitcoins (70 BTC) are in IXC, it makes instant believers out of them.  lol.

So the volume today could very well be intended for iXcoin.  We will see.

Thanks for your input!

It's like asking us how long until Crytpsy sends your coins to you.

Give it some time and then contact CEX.io customer support.

Good luck!

My money says their ticker will be all about X as well.

Should be interesting if I'm right as right now that should NOT be in their top choices.
