Hello. I have a problem after copying the 2 files over the ixcoin installed wallet.

Need version of Windows?

Do you have the older installation of ixcoin?
i copied over the old installation first, then deleted all the files and copied the 2 files in program files\ixcoin . Should i delete ixcoin folder from appdata ?

Friction,

There's gonna be a fix for Bitcoin's malleability problem next week, can we add that to the final 8.6 client version before we launch?  It would be nice for IXC since there's so much bad press regarding this code error.

Thanks!

I will check.

Please let me know your thoughts Smiley

Regards, Luke.

I like it, now.. about that windows wallet...  Undecided

Hi,

Thanks. What is your public address from the windows wallet. I'll try to send you 10 IXC to see if mine works.

if you can send OK, then obviously the problem is contained to my own system... hopefully we'll get this working soon.

Ok all sorted.I sent you IXC$5

OK, it's being confirmed...
please let me have your wallet address, and i'll try to send it back to you!

Sure. Unfortunately I'm in bed so it will have to be in 8 hours. Need a nice sleep. Talk to you soon.

no worries, later.

Hi my address is xcKFNjh8du5SJZMMCvibVQ4EQEYEtCM1cH I hope you were able to receive the 5 test coins. Now the ultimate test is whether you can send them Smiley

I guarantee you guys this will be yet one more massive and great advantage in favor of iXcoin.  Because the difficulty was so high early on and besides me, I never found a single person accumulating iXcoin, like they used to do with BTC, few will have large positions.  BTC and all the fancy "popular" ShitCoins with all their worthless features ensured nobody was crazy enough to ever accumulate iXcoin and so 18+ million coins have gone to hundreds of thousands of miners, evenly distributed so when ixCoin passes $100, there will be many, many millionaires instead of the few dozen created by BTC.

"As of Dec. 3., using a price of $1,000 (which is basically where we are now), and assuming 12 million Bitcoins in circulation, here's the breakdown: 47 individuals own 28.9% of the approximately 12 million Bitcoins in existence so far. Another 880 own 21.5%, meaning 927 people control half of the entire market cap of the digital currency. Another 10,000 individuals control about a quarter. And the rest of us (around a million of us) get the crumbs (500,000 are out of circulation, whether through government seizure or people losing their passwords)."

Luke,

What's the BlockChain tab in the nerve center?  It's not populated yet but I'm curious what that could be?  Is it just a breakdown of all the coins being sold or transferred or is it something new?

You blew me away twice with this new site already so that's why I'm wondering if you're gonna release yet one more totally unexpected and Amazing thing.

The same for the Shopping tab.  Nobody really accepts [or even knows about] iXcoin right now so I'm wondering what you're gonna put in that tab.

Thanks!

"To know iXcoin is to know Money, Banking and Bitcoin."

I don't know who came up with that on the education tab of the new site but it's great.  I love it!

You're welcome. Time to educate the world

Luke, quick question.  I see the new site still shows LukeConnell.  That's not gonna be the IP address when it's done, right?  What will be the home address?  I know we have the dot co domain but it would be great to get the dot org one back.

I've been trying to reach Thomas but no luck at all.

Rumors are iXcoin was a contract job by a mystery entity, so we have no idea who the actual original dev was.

Just as mysterious as Bitcoin.  Quite rhe twin.

Hi Vlad,

If by IP address you're referring to the web address Url then its going to remain long until the website is finished. It was not intended to be used to promote the site and is purely for the iXcoin community to contribute and follow the sites development. Once the website is finished www.ixcoin.co will become the main address .co representing community.

We will also create custom domains targeted to specific markets in non english speaking countries.

Excellent.   Yes, that's what I meant.  Thanks for the clarification.

Anybody notice we're up roughly 25% today on about double the normal volume?

And not a single peep out of anyone.

I've been sending out links to the awesome website to a lot of people but I'm not sure if that's where the sudden buy interest is coming from.

Let's hope this is for real and the price is about to blow.  I think we're maybe 2 weeks away form a total relaunch due to delay with the new wallets.  Not a lot of sell orders, hopefully we can blow through them and get to $1 before we even launch the site.

That would be very doable and ideal as then we'd only need a 10-fold increase to my $10 price target.

Download here:  https://sourceforge.net/projects/ixcoin-ng/files/iXcoin/ixcoin-0.8.6/beta/

Enjoy!

Hi,

How easy is it to change the application icon and the taskbar icons from a red dot with a white letter I to the new red or black ring with IXC in the middle?

Regards, Luke.

The icons can be found here:  https://github.com/FrictionlessCoin/iXcoin/tree/master/src/qt/res/icons

They just need to be updated.

Then we can perform another build.
