1) He uses his massive investment money (5k BTC) to gamble, making it nearly impossible for him to lose (he just keeps betting until he gets ahead)

I'm sorry, but this doesn't seem viable to me. He's just like any other gambler.

Just tried to load site on my phone. It's broken in both chrome and Firefox. Looks like CSS doesn't load.

Confirmed on PC as well.

Nakowa came in while the site was down and stole a few more BTC from us. I think he's deliberately attacking the site so we can't divest. He's changing his name every time now so we don't get suspicious.

If I was Doog, I would not let him take that profit. We couldn't divest. In a real casino, if something goes wrong with the games, everything is null and void.

What exactly are you suggesting went "wrong" with the games?

The site is not working properly, thus neither investors or bettors should profit.

There is no question that Nakowa is attacking this site. He has the funds and means to do it. His goal is to destroy Just-Dice no matter how it's done.

He said last night that he wouldn't be back. People are watching for him so they can divest (see:https://twitter.com/IsNakOnline). He knows this so he changes his name and DDOSs the site FORCING us to take his "punishment." He is angry because people don't like what he did when the site first started (as Celeste).

1) He uses his massive investment money (5k BTC) to gamble, making it nearly impossible for him to lose (he just keeps betting until he gets ahead)
1.5) By doing so he makes everyone else take a higher percentage of his wins.
2) He reinvests, thus making it harder for the investor to earn back their coin
3) He scares off investors who then make his earnings at the site even larger.

It's not a coincidence that the DDOS attacks started almost at the same time as his new site.

The site is being DDosed and is down for some not all, there is nothing wrong with the games therefore he keeps profits, if you dont like it once its up divest for good.

Exactly. Divesting because a whale has a lucky streak is more like gambling yourself as long as there's nothing fishy with the game (which I don't suspect, it's just ddos).

EDIT: regarding page load problems: seems like ddos is in progress and random pages (also css) get the cloudfare "excessive load" page.

Yup.. The guy can't keep his hands off the cookie jar

He's nibbled away a good bit of my investment profits without losing his balance as yet.

Feature request: As someone else mentioned in chat, it would be better if the pop up for edit invest/divest didn't obscure the site info, like profit & one's own profit etc. I guess one could have to site open on 2 windows to try & time some of those fat marties or just pick a bit better entry/exit points in the short term.

What's a martingale system?

This was his betting pattern I believe, or at least some of it Cry

It's a gambler's phallacy semi-martingale system. The guy seems to deeply believe in gambler's phallacy, so he bets an arbitrary number (let's say 100BTC). As soon as he believes that the probability to hit a winning strike is higher because he just lost multiple times in a row (gambler's phallacy), he starts betting double of his initial bet (200BTC). After he won multiple times, he starts betting again 100BTC as he believes that the probability of losing is now higher, because he just won multiple times in a row.

Please nakowa: keep playing.

how did he do it this time ? martingaling or pounding max bet

Little bit of both actually.. Although he never went fully max bet.. He was martingale with 100BTC start for a bit there.. -_-

100 BTC start bet for martingale? That sounds like a recipe for quick desaster to me.

Sorry, didn't mean to sound angry at you.  It wasn't you who 'tickled' us again...  Smiley

It does make you wonder if the max bet should be lowered (though still kept much higher than competition).
