i try out this pool with some miners. so right now i am not disapointed.

This pool isn't for those who want to mine here for a few hours even 1 or 2 days.

Correct. You need to see how the luck balances out over a period of time to get a real feel for performance.

You can look on the main page, under "Pool", then "Blocks" to see what our luck has been like over the last 50 blocks (and other ranges as well). In other words, we have pulled in 50 blocks in the last 8.5 days. 123.20% percent luck in the past little over a week. Can't beat that anywhere else for a pool this size. (Not too big, not too small.)

Try our pool out for 7-10 days and see how you do. Chances are you will do better here than at other pools.
Keep on mining, and GOOD LUCK!   Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

13h 11m.....    hmm

Past results have no bearing on future performance.
We have had a few very nice lucky days in a row, 11-block and 8-block days included.

Can our luck change? Maybe. Will it? Who knows.

In the mean time, keep on mining!

What a hash jump!  So at close to 60 PH/s we should be expecting 6 blocks per day.  It is also very nice to see all luck back above 100% again!

DE and FR are currently not responding to miners at all.
Working on sorting out why.

Edit: miners now getting through.
Looks like a short network problem across the pacific (for 10-15 minutes) but seems OK again now.

Oh and in general, anyone who didn't notice Smiley
The hash rate at the moment means we expect 5 blocks a day.
My calculator shows that with the default value when you enter the site then press enter.
http://tradebtc.net/bitcalc.php
It copies the current pool hash rate at the time you first go there.

Edit: well it's actually 5.5 at the moment.
Basically 10PHs, at the moment, averages one block a day.

I recall you prefer max PH at 80PH-ish at the pool.

Given the increased hashing power available after halving, S9 & Avalons, current diff levels -- is this preference still true?

I think the planet's total hashing power to the blockchain is now 1.5 Exahash/s

No.

As I've said a few times, 10% of bitcoin Smiley

The servers can handle a few hundred PH in the current setup, and I am, yet again, working on performance at the moment Smiley

Yo, carl, you ever sleep?  Love the block popping action! Block on everybody! Grin

That 240+% block has been absorbed into the stats and is gone.  Poof, like magic!

4 blocks in 4 hours...who can sleep!  I've been staying up late watching the Olympics and keeping an eye on the cgminer monitor.  I'm about to pass out right about now!  Grin

going with -ck suggestion, don't micro manage. Back to zero. Let pool decide.
Crap, how do you reset the worker diff?
On the pool page, under the Workers tab, use Management. Set the diffs to zero and update.
I set to 5000 and then set to zero but the diff on the worker page stayed at 5000
Takes a while to change after you set it there if you want it to go down.

But the more relevant point would be that diff affects variance, not expected payout, so just ignore it, it'll switch back soon enough.
Everything working well, I'm very pleased. Like to see one of my s9's hit a block for the pool.
