Wooo doggy - on a roll today!

Edit - ok maybe got a little overzealous cause I got the CKPool Monitor e-mail a second ago and it said "approx 1.5% diff" which made me think we nailed another one right after that last 5.962% block. Still... i stand by my original statement. Grin

This past weekend dry spell - was it just luck (or lack of) or technical? Both?

Also with the block we missed 402609 - is there anything I can do on my node (add CKPool node?) that might of helped get the relay out to more nodes?

THanks,

The last 10 payments in my wallet have all come from Kano.  Wheeeeee.  I see we're getting back towards the green.  Keep finding those blocks folks!  I hope to find my first sometime soon!

I do know my s5's have never found a bitcoin block in the year I've owned them.
Now i have a s7 pointed here, hopefully it finds a block for the pool someday.
The reality is that an S7 is expected to find a block every 4.7 years under the current difficulty. Think about that for a second. 4.7 years.

So sadly, no, your S7 is unlikely to hit a block here (or anywhere). And this is a good illustration of why most miners, especially the smaller ones, prefer pools to solo; a small solo miner can hash for months or years without getting any payout at all.

I have been mining for a bit and never found a block. Found block #601 with my lucky s7 with low error rates, it was a very lucky day for me, i haven't been mining here very long, i was kinda surprised, it got my day goin. so i'm gonna stick around on this pool, all in all, the luck here isn't too bad.   Smiley

Luck aside, you won't find better support anywhere!

Alright! Nice to see green blocks rolling in!  Grin

Also - nice to see a block solved by clgrissom3's rental earlier today... Taking a little break from NH right now, but I'm thinking I'll go for another round before too long.

Kind of been absent, didn't realize I had the lowest CDF! woohoo!

Block #622 1CA6Pam8LEbM1bwTBo5ETKfnipytzbRPrV with a CDF of 0.053 (5.445%) at 2016-03-09 02:52:40 UTC
Heh I was wondering about that for when we get to the end of the month Smiley

I purchased my first s7 in October and found a block in less than a month, my first and only block. sadly it was mining at anthole

EDIT: Hopefully Phil will do another group buy so I can weed out the antminers with Avalon gear.

Also, I find it odd that all the fear mongering going on over the block size limit debate never seems to touch on the empty blocks being mined. I even had a member of a prominent wallet company defending mining empty blocks. Seems like a lot of people have their own best interest in mind rather than bitcoins best interest. A wise man once said "..since we expect Bitcoin will last a long time, we don't do shit that assumes Bitcoin wont be here tomorrow"

Block solved by me with my 180THs!  Cheesy Cheesy
Well that puts you in the block list for the month at least Smiley
(even if it is in the middle)

Edit: list updated
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.8895607

... and I look at the last 10 blocks and what do I see ...

a 50 second block by us with 978.6 kB of transactions.

then ...

2 Blocks by AntPool/Bitmain.
Both SPV Empty blocks.

People, don't support them, don't buy their hardware and (certainly) don't mine on their pool.
