How could block 39848 (2016-01-11 16:06:09) be found after Kano's 392849 (2016-01-11 15:58:46)?  This is craziness!
Because the time stamp in a block header doesn't really mean much.
It's not when the block was found, it's simply the time that was put there by the pool or miner.
It has certain limits but they are quite loose limits.

If we continue at the rate we're going, I would have no problem paying for 1000 Amp service upgrade 21 days from now.  However, I'm only getting 800 Amps.  Actually, 600 amps worth of panels at first with an 800 amp fused disconnect switch.  I'll add the other 200 amp panel a few months down the road.  I don't want to draw too much attention from an inspector with 800 amps out the door.  I'm leading them to believe I'm changing out my gas furnace to an electric furnace and I'm adding a server rack in the garage to fiddle with.

They will have no idea what's in the recreation room.  In fact, I'm disconnecting and pulling out all of the 30A circuits that are in my present panel going to my existing mining closet as well to avoid attention.  That will not occur until just before an inspector is expected to arrive.  Which means you will not see me mining on the pool for 24 to 48 hours.  Bummer...  I'll keep you updated on when that occurs. [Hopefully, no more than 2 to 3 weeks from now.]

I'm going to install a couple of 30A outlets overhead in the garage where I will place a server rack and mount a couple of PDU's on it for looks.  No equipment will be on the server rack.  Also, thanks to that 7 block run in less than 24 hours, I'm getting french doors this week to install downstairs in the entrance to the recreation room where the mining closet is located.  That should cut out a ton of noise from coming upstairs.

Happy mining everyone!

David

Wow sounds like a lot of work.  Good luck with it all!

Yes, agreed...  This is the first time for me to deal with an Engineer from the power company and multiple electrical contractors to get a quote for the labor cost.  I'm providing all the material.  I got my old electrical foreman [when I used to work for an electrical contractor back in the 1990's] to come out to my house and put together a material list for everything I needed for 800 amp service.  I simply hand the electrical contractors a copy of that list to help them determine labor costs when they give me a quote.

My last electrical contractor just came out this morning.  I'm expecting 3 more quotes via a phone call or email this week.  All of this has been a great learning experience to prepare myself for the move to Washington State between August 2016 and May 2017.  I wanted to move out there the end of 2015 but it just didn't work out.  I'm not sure exactly when I would move there.  It all depends on the difficulty, price of rigs and price of bitcoin.

Please make sure you have your main pool backup in there, since I don't have an alert on this type of failure that's occurred suddenly in the last hour.
It is yet again running OK for now and back up to the same users and connections as before.

As a NiceHash rental user I have no choice with the backup pools, but I am hedging with orders connecting to main and DE node.
Worst case scenario, it stops mining for a while until you fix the issue. No problems.

Kano, is DE node down. Nicehash disconnected 20 min ago!

EDIT: It just came up.
Yeah it was down for about 10 minutes, restarted and still had a hiccough, but been all ok since UTC:
[2016-01-11 12:33:27.325] Passthrough ... recovered

Edit: no still having problems ... I'd make sure you have failover to the main pool while I try to sort out why it keeps losing connection.
I've updated the code on DE and also removed IPv6 which up til now has had no problems on DE, but since IPv6 was indirectly the cause of the initial SG problems, I decided to remove it from DE also just in case.

Please make sure you have your main pool backup in there, since I don't have an alert on this type of failure that's occurred suddenly in the last hour.
