I don't show anything on the rewards page. Don't know when payouts are so I don't know if I didn't make the threshold or not. Can't tell by the shares either.
You see rewards, on the "Rewards" page, after every block you were mining and submitting shares to the pool (and for some after you stop mining)

If they are above dust, more than 9999 sat, then you'll get them in a zero confirm transaction payout 100 blocks after we find the block - then later in your wallet when that transaction confirms.

If they're dust, then they'll join any other dust you have awaiting for me to complete the accounting changes and then finally send it to you.

Math doesn't care what you believe.
Don't remind me. My Avalon6 is down to ~0.0003 BTC payouts... Blokforge does have the 841 for $1550 now. Crazy thing is, though, that they're only netting ~$30/week now due to all this increased difficulty, which means it would pay for itself in almost exactly one year at current BTC prices. Cry

Actually, the 841 is down to $983 now at BlokForge.

RE: "Dust"......So if I'm running two S3s I'm basically only mining dust? Contributing to the pool reward?
If you're getting payouts, you're out of the dust threshold.

Check if the following is over 0.0001:

Hey Kano miners, new to kano and is wondering when do you get paid.  I cannot see any payment option under reward?  Do you have to reach a certain BTC amount or you can withdraw or transfer your BTC to your wallet any time?

cheers.

Help -> Payouts goes into great detail on how payments are made.  The 5Nd stuff throws a lot of people, but its basically just a 5 block average.  When you first start, you "ramp up" your average.  If you ever leave, you will "ramp down" your average and continue to get paid (a decreasing amount) for each of the next 5 blocks.   Note this affect fulls payments after you increase your farm size as well, since your average will increase over the then next 5 blocks.
that decryption is a great summary, but in the interest of accuracy, it is not really about blocks found, but something to do with your share contribution  percentage for the last 5 times the difficulty worth of shares. Very confusing, and if you prefer to think of it as blocks, whatever helps you understand.

Thanks Nazza.. thanks for your response.  So what's the suppose "DUST" value??

cheers
If you're mining with an s7 or higher, you're above dust...although the s7 is getting closer and closer to dust levels now.

T1 is pointed to Kano's test proxy so he can evaluate the best and most secure way to enable version rolling.

Mine on!

All these sounds great, but when do you get paid.  I cannot see any payment option under reward?  Do you have to reach a certain BTC amount or you can withdraw or transfer your BTC to your wallet any time??

To answer the question - you get paid after a block found by the pool matures (100 confirmations), each and every block if you're above the "dust" value.

Dust is still pending Kano figuring out how to use a slide rule.... *g*

Edit: you also need to specify a payout address in settings

Was just thinking abandoned pizza shops are a dime a dozen where I live. If they have that huge hood type ventilation system and power for electric
ovens they might make excellent lease sites for bitcoin mining on a small to moderate scale. Just need to get rid of the big windows and secure the place
up and you have almost instant cheap small data center.
Well, can dream, can't I?

I was thinking the same thing when I drove behind a building the other day, and it had bunch of aluminum pipes sticking out of it, and I thought, "Woah, that could be a mining farm!" I turned around and heard air rushing out of the pipes! So, I drive around the side of the building... It's a laundromat.

I'd happily expand my mining operation if I could get one of those laundromats ... a few started closing down in my area ... crime is a bit too high though, I'll have to stick with mining from home

On another note, I had two machines that didn't recover well from last night's shenanigans on KDB/ckpool - rebooting didn't help, I shut them down for 20+ minutes and then powered them on again before they were happy again. Fortunately I use a wifi enabled power switch so I can just remotely power cycle stuff (TP-Link HS110 if anyone's interested, these easily handle the load on an S9)

LOL,

My miners were cycling, and I immediately thought that kano was down again, then I started checking, and could not get to the miners web-page interface.

Then I had that AHA  moment. The wife had come down to the basement to get some clothing which is on poles I set up decades ago. I had strung one of the
Ethernet lines over the poles to a switch that had a very short power cord. Sure enough the switch was unplugged.

I took the time to reroute things so there was no tension on the power cord and once everything was reconnected all was happy.

Hopefully this extremely minor incident is last the bit of unhappy excitement for the day.

0.2+EH!!!

Figured I'd go ahead and start measuring the Kano Pool in EHs. Hehe Wink

Edit: I noticed the user count dropped to <1200. Interesting that there were like 200 just hanging out doing nothing, I guess. I dunno. This wouldn't happen to actually be more like a worker count, would it?

The app shows 11:08 for me. So maybe there's something off in how it's add/subtracting your timezone from the original time zone.

I sure hope that is all it is.

Really it doesn't matter what time stamp is on either of the apps...they're just portable references anyway.  The main thing is what's on the blockchain and on Kano's website and it looks good there..
