https://blockchain.info/pools      37% unknown. More big farms. BTCS mining.

Blockchain is pretty unreliable for pool detection.

Most reliable is organofcorti:

Agreed blockchain is a bit unreliable in identifying the block finder summary, blocktrail.com is glorious Smiley

Also Kano love the pool, really impressed with the pool and proxy you and con have developed, its a honor to mine at your pool. Ill be grabbing some more rigs soon, hopefully bitmain will reduce the s5's they have to around 1/1.2btc and ill grab a couple, hopefully, I mean if this BTCGuild and all the pools shutting down I can grab a few preowned unit so win win.

Just an FYI: Not sure if anyone is aware of this...we MAY be picking up some more hashpower. BTCGuild is closing up shop.

Edit: not sure if I like that idea or not. Our luck has been pretty good and I like the bigger payout. Anybody else think that too?

Just thought I'd post an update in case anyone was wondering about it.

I've always used 1xxxx addresses (or course) for the block coinbase as you can see looking at the blocks we find.
This was the only part of the code, somewhat related to the 3xxxx addresses that -ck has made a change for in his custom solo code.
Thus kano.is was unaffected by it in any way.

The payouts I do, have had 3xxxx addresses in them since the very first block payout, and there's been no problems reported there either.

Edit: this is in relation to:

Man the variance is killing this pool.  But it seems to be everywhere.
Variance?

Our variance is really good for the last ... well ... all stat ranges on the blocks page Tongue

Easiest to just post it - even with the new (not very high) 230% block, it's pretty exceptional.
Code:
Description             Diff%    Mean% CDF[Erl]   Luck%
Last 5 Blocks          68.68%   67.26%  0.2490  148.68%
Last 10 Blocks         60.99%   60.25%  0.0856  165.99%
Last 25 Blocks        101.28%  101.10%  0.5484   98.91%
Last 50 Blocks        106.72%  106.33%  0.6862   94.05%
Last 100 Blocks       108.41%  108.35%  0.8012   92.29%
All - Last 250 Blocks  98.77%   98.01%  0.3835  102.03%

The last 10 blocks, which is more than 2 weeks, is 166% luck ...

All blocks we generate have been v3 since then.

What does that mean?
BIP66 will come into effect soon and pools mining block headers before v3 will fork.
(or in simplistic terms, if the pool isn't mining v3 blocks, no one will get any bitcoins when BIP66 activates)

So do I or we need to do anything?

Not when mining to kano.is
Thanks for staying ahead of the curve.

What a night-- I am finally back up on the pool!

The Internet went down around 4:10 and didn't come back up for a couple hours.  When it came back up I found one of my SP20s completely unresponsive.  SD recovery couldn't fix it, so I ended up making a SD boot which brought it back to life.

Anyway, I'm glad to be back.  Maybe my injured miner will find the next block for us (unlikely, I know)!

just the other day there was 3 blocks in a row.. plus with the hash rate of 800Th/s you can expect this pool to find a block once every 3 days..
we are actually ahead of the avg.

put this into google to see

(((((49692386354 * 2^32) / 800000000000000) / 60) / 60) / 24)
