I didn't notice all the invalids on the pool stats, odd.
Remember invalid shares and hardware errors are two different statistics.
I have this on an A741:
51260: Shares
395: Invalids
19: Stale
Which I think would be 0.008% invalids, though HW is around 2-3%
I don't see any Discarded stats.

On an S7 I have:
42,708: Accepted
166: Rejected
188,230: Discarded
Quite a high number of Discarded
HW is around 0.07%

could it be an issue with that s7?

Time for a good block solving here.   A GI Joe with a kung fu grip has been sacrificed for the good of the order.  No pics.

On the shift page there is a metric called "PPS%"   What does that stand for?   I know there is a payment scheme with the same name but since we use PPLNS I figure it must mean something else in this particular context.

Also, on the blocks page there is a percentage called PAPPS.   What does that stand for?   Google is surprisingly silent on this acronym.

Thanks!

He shows you the PPS, Pay Per Share, rate for comparison so you can see how much your being paid vs. PPS.

There is a question mark next to PAPPS so click on that for an explanation.

Thanks - missed the question mark on the "last N" blocks table.  I guess I look at the monthly block table more closely.

Carl, aka Sonny :)
That does bring up something I've noted in the past. All my s9/t9's have invalids around 0.079 and lower. All my Avalons: around 0.875%. Last time this was brought up Kano said that Bitmain miners do not report all invalids. As to what this means - ? ? ?

My equipment shows the same thing, Ants show 0.070% and lower and my Avalons show 0.900% and higher.  Biteme's hardware has been notorious for under-reporting invalids and over-reporting hashrate.  They do this so their machines look better than they really are.

Guys, doesn't it look for you like we have some issues with invalid shares? Huh

That's how pool looks right now:

KanoPool:     22,098.71THs
Shares:     703,336,606,279 (51.55%)
Invalids:     25.4M (21.5%) · 104.5G (12.9%)
Last    Block
Pool:     40h 56m (495143)
Network:     2m 27s (495434)

My three S9's are at .075% for invalids...much lower than the older hardware.

Odds are it is old hardware. For example, Canaan has removed a majority of their hardware, but they probably leave old S7 or stuff running which would have a lot of invalids. Same goes for Cobra etcetera. That is my guess.

I know that and that was I was trying to explain to the first guy commenting about it, telling him that it doesn’t update until the block is found,  I said it would be like 20 expected when we hit the next block and then the Vblob said I was wrong and that it would be 13.6 expected, after that I corrected myself self saying that I just realized that it was only 4 days but seemed like forever. After that the Vblob started insulting me with his correct calculations,...  and he was still wrong! It isn’t 13.6 it is 13.78! But close enough!  I just might hire that boy to calculate my profits for me, I’m even willing to pay double of what his s5 dusts out!  Lmao!  Cheesy

Yeah, I was replying to him, I know you know what's going on.
"Vblob", that's the best you can do??  And 'AT THE TIME' my calculation was spot on.  It's only basic math, duh.

You both deserve the ignore button so goodbye math clowns!  Cheesy

Oh no, we’re going to miss you Vblob!   Cry. Lol Cheesy

PM me if you need a job!  Cheesy

OMG I think I might blow a gasket!
I also got the email, I wonder what the "recompense" would be.  Roll Eyes
In the past it has been things like t-shirts, caps, one of their old stick miners, so who knows. At least they communicate vs what I've been reading re: Buttmain

I have not received payment yet either.  Block hit over 24 hours ago. I am in no rush I haven’t touched any of my payments from Kano in over three months but it normally doesn’t take this long
I am still a bit green, but my philosophy has been to assume that you will receive all payments for blocks with 101+ confirmations within minutes of the Kano family finding the next block.  Look at the Pool / Blocks page to see the number of confirmations.  Since we are a lower hash rate, be prepared for several days and perhaps a week or more before you see it in your wallet - then be pleasantly surprised if someone else picks it up during their mining.
Yeah it's just that with no fee for me, I can't actually draw any BTC out of the block (from my fee) to pay a transaction fee.
(which of course isn't much but it's not zero Tongue)
It will confirm with our next block, but I guess I'll need to modify the payout to draw some out of the dust and put that back into the pool from my previous fees - since the transaction input is (of course) only the block itself.

Looks like the demand is picking up big time on any and all viable Bitcoin miners being made right now.

__________

Dear Minerwarez and Minerwarez Customers,

First off I want to thank you for the great job you are doing serving the smaller miners. As bitcoin continues to rise, the demand for miners continues to grow exponentially. I want to apologize for missing the shipdate on this order. I know all your customers will be disappointed and some will be justifiably angry. Please keep a list of people who were made to wait longer than we promised. I will find a way to make it up to them.

Dear Minerwarez.com Customer,

Thank you for your support and enthusiasm to continue to expand the blockchain. We realize timing and difficulty are crucial factors that go into your decision to operate servers. The next two batches that were scheduled for shipment November 20th and December 5th have been delayed by approximately two weeks respectively. In order to fulfill orders as quickly as possible we have brought in additional staff so that as soon as we receive shipment from Canaan we will be shipping all orders out immediately. We appreciate Canaan’s pledge to find a way to make it up to customers and have included all customers of these batches on the list for recompense.

International Customers arranging their own shipping will be receiving a separate email with shipping information within the next 24 hours.

Customers inside the USA who have paid for shipping will not need to do anything further and will receive an email as soon as we receive the batches, shipping will follow immediately.

Sincerely,
Laurie
Shipping Director
