Interesting...my first stab would be "kah-no" because (1) I live in Hawai'i where that is the way it would be pronounced in Hawaiian, and (2) the little church I try to help out with is mostly Japanese Hawaiian folks.

I hear ya,  though. Peace.  Kiss

Um ... it's another pool.
Not sure why we are even discussing it.

By the way, I've never understood why every in the USA calls my name and pool "KayNo" - it's not Tongue
It's Ka like "Car" without the "r"
There is no way to say "Kay" in Japanese, the sound doesn't exist.

Sorry just never heard of it and it popped up on the list while I was looking for us.

I'm norwegian and dont call you any "Kay" alike. Kay is my bros name and my uncle and his bro are old sailors and talk quite a bit japanese, I heard it yesterday latest  Smiley

No the pronunciation comment wasn't really directed at you Smiley
It just reminded me about the fact that every US person I've met who has said my name or the pool name before I've told them, has said KayNo

It was a general thing - yeah canoe isn't pronounded KayNoo, it's KaNoo
I've no idea why so often I hear KayNo - there's no 'y' in Kano - so I never understood where the pronunciation came from.

Well I don't know this for a fact, but I'm pretty sure it's yet another fake, pirate, knock-off scam-o-rama of Kano-san's greatness and should be shunned immediately.

"Namelike" is almost accurate. They use Kano's open-source software, but otherwise it appears bogus. You can search it on the thread, as there were a couple of explanatory posts about it.

So simple yer gonna kick yerself....
Main tab > Options > External Miner
It will display all the miners. Select the miner then click 'Remove'.
Can change the IP's there as well.

I am going to have to recheck that because I swear I haven't seen any Remove option. I thought that maybe the free version didn't allow you to remove them. I will check tonight, thanks for the info!

It seems that BTC.c om does have stats for Kanopool

https://btc.com/stats/pool?pool_mode=week

I contacted bitmain support a while ago about btc.com and they emailed me back and told me to do what I did:
https://github.com/btccom/Blockchain-Known-Pools/pull/10
Well that was pointless - 24 days later and they've still done nothing.
I might harass Jihadn when I see him next month Cheesy

I'm pretty sure I sent Blocktail a message also, but they're owned by Bitmain now and probably don't do anything at all any more on the web site since they're the above site also and probably just bought blocktrail.com to control it into nothingness.

My fave is Awesome Miner for remote control of my farm.

How do you remove miners that are no longer running or have changed IP's? All I can find is to disable them but the still show up. I use the trial so it counts towards the 10 free ones. Other than that I like it as well.

PS. Man this forum seems to be really slow.
Well...if you're referring to post replies, one should keep in mind that our users...regardless of their native language...occupy a number of timezones on both sides of the Dateline.

You should maybe look for a software to manage your miners when it comes to such a high number. I am sure that some automatisation can be done.
You could still change a few per day  Roll Eyes
