Since Nicehash is no longer letting us mine to it without an account, I have been trying to make Unmineable work with Awesome Miner. It would be really nice if Unmineable was supported by Awesome Miner.
Good point - I will investigate.

...so I'm guessing it's having the same issue xmrig is having and nothing you can do .
The most recent XmRig version has finally resolved the API monitoring issues. It's included in the latest software definition update. Please give it a try.

Thank you I saw that it works great .

Couple things that still haven't been added to AM that it could really benefit from.

A way for AM to access a basic external API and retrieve/send data to use in variables. Very important for triggers or automating work. AM has it's own API, but can't communicate with external ones.

A 'WAIT' event for Triggers in rules. This allows you to set an amount of time in which rules need to be true (or false) before it triggers. Right now there is no way to do this and it just triggers.
Thanks for the feedback. Both requests make sense.

1) Getting data from extenal APIs typically requires some processing of the result, for example processing a JSON result set. It would be possible to do something custom with the C# scripting feature we have today.

Sending HTTP POST requests from Awesome Miner is possible via the Webhook rule action. Variables can be used here as well.

2) Good point. A workaround today would be to make use of variables that you increase like a counter or reset based on certain trigger conditions. You can then have another rule looking if the variable value is above for example 100, indicating that the conditions has been true for a period of time. Yes, it's a bit complicated but it's possible today.

Does AM support the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X it doesn't show power usage or temperature with any of the miners I tried but does show hash rate and coins per day. .
SO my question is , is it AM or the Miners ?.
the two I tried were SRBMine 2.6,6 and xmrig-6.22.0 with the upload tool in AM .

No Biggie if AM doesn't support the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X , just asking.

I mine mostly  Qubic now with Remote desktop thu AM.

and I also noticed it's still @ SRBMine 2.6.4 , so I'm guessing it's having the same issue xmrig is having and nothing you can do .

I've not been able to verify with the Ryzen 9000-series yet so it's likely not supported yet.

I've just pushed a mining software definition update to include the latest SrbMiner-Multi and more. It's only XmRig that we keep an older version of now due to monitoring issues in XmRig itself.

is there any chance to add own API Access to miners that are not supported yet?
Thanks for the question. This is unfortunately not supported. Please also note that ASIC miners may have their own authentication concepts, request tokens and other concepts that makes it more complex than just picking a few properties from a JSON response.

you got PM already but the FW i talk about is able to give me API token

Hey Patrik,

1) I just wanted to use the Rigel Miner for dual mining, without ZIL. Any combination I tried AM just uses the single mining config instead of dual mining config:

Command line parameters:  -a fishhash -o stratum+tcp://de.ironfish.herominers.com:1145 -u xx+xx -p x --api-bind 0.0.0.0:4029  --no-watchdog

In the performance tab AM already prints the MH for Ironfish and a 0 for the second coin. In the pools tab below he prints pool 1 Herominers and pool 2 the second pool, but with a "Disabled". Maybe this helps.

Can you check that please? In the old versions 9.x it worked, I think... Always used it with ZIL, never had that problem.
I noticed that the dual combinations have been reduced in more recent versions. I've pushed a definition update where Awesome Miner will list a bit fewer dual algorithms. However, there seems to be some dual combinations that are working and some that isn't.

Can you please try with EtcHash + Blake3 (Alephium) for example just to make sure the dual concept works in general?

Hey Patrik,

I updated the definition update and already made my text. But after stop/start a few times, it works now. Every time Smiley Tested with ETC+Add and IRON+Add and on different rigs. Everything is fine.
So, if it was on my side: I'm sorry! If it was the update: Great job and thanks Smiley

2) And a strange bug. In the newest AM version, if I right click on any column to open the menu, I only gets a white box with a red cross inside. No text.
The only color scheme which works is the "Blue". All others are broken. I'm on Win10 latest build, restarted everything a few times, nothing helped. Only the "Blue" scheme.
Hello.

I will investigate point #1. For point #2, can you please upgrade to the latest version? We made a change in the new version that hopefully resolved this problem.

Hey Patrik,

the menus are visible again in all schemes, thanks Smiley
