Guys what is  a good hardware wallet?  trezor ?  ledger nano s ?

I like my KeepKey...among other things it has larger text for aging eyes Cheesy
That certainly is an important consideration.

I'm using Trezor and I must say it's a great wallet. Good functionality, easier to use and supports ethereum dash and zcash

There was a DE node outage at 22:22 UTC for 15 minutes.
The VM server at the provider was off for 5 minutes (without any warning)

About 2/3 of the miners seemed to fail over to the NL node so they're setup OK.
Anyone using the DE node, who doesn't have NL or stratum.kano.is as their backup, I'd suggest you setup the NL node as 1st backup, since they are quite close together (13ms)

Edit: just got an email from them (almost 2hrs later) saying ... they had to reboot the DE VM server ... well I guess that answers that Tongue

Man, I love the luck in this pool but since I started my payments have almost been halved with the same hash rate Sad

Perhaps because of increased pool hash-rate. But an increase in pool hash, overall, means less variance in block-finding.

COMEONBLOCKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Grin Grin Grin Grin

It "feels" like a Four-block!  Cool Cool Cool Cool

Yup...way cool, Blockmines. Glad you're here.

Actually started to feel like this is a real job, trying to keep up with back-to-back-to-back blocks...oh, the labor of booking blocks every few minutes...LOL...

Well...we took down a 721 and older 741, and replaced them with two new 741s on separate controllers...I'm now at around 29TH. When these two older boxes get online in Labrador (we're idling two S7s up there to get the rack space, as they're full up...the S7s will go back online when the new transformer is in) it should still be around 31TH. Then, when their new DC is together, add the 9TH back on...

Life is good.
Ja it is Smiley
Since you do have both 721 and 741's you might want to refer to my post in the A7 thread https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.19567389 if you ever think about putting them together on 1 controller. Works well but a couple gotcha's...
Yup...aware. I ran the 721 and the 741 together on the same RPi for some time. I noticed that, although the autoclocking worked well, the actual throughput was not great. You were also booting ALL the machines on the RPi if you hit "Reboot". I switched to separate controllers about a week ago and saw a 20% increase in hash output. The 741s are on separate controllers now. Since the 721 and 741 are going to be "together again," I may spring for a second controller to go with them to the DC. It's worth it.
For all the 741's, they can run on one controller without any issues - up to 20 741's - 5 on each USB port on the RPi3
Quite true. I'll run the two 741s here at home on one, but give Alan separate controllers for the 721 and 741 going up there. I got a couple of Canaan's RPi's...nicely done. Actually cheaper than trying to build one yourself.

All in all, I'm pretty happy with the Avalon gear. It's been significantly more reliable, and easier to manage.

I have a problem.

I mined for a couple of months and I don't see the payments sent out to my wallet. I see all the block, but when I want to see all payment, there are no payments at all.

Any explanation?

'The right to privacy matters'

........

I consolidate 1 time a month pay 75 sats and use viabtc.com  so  if I have 60 payouts from kano

it is 60 x 0.004 = 0.24 btc from him  and the tx fees are 0.010125   if I pay 0.00000075 a byte

I don't feel it since the other mining income is about .75  and only 50 payouts so

say 1 btc a month and 0.019 in tx id fees

https://blockchain.info/address/16yLHLoeyuCLPMXkVpC3gyrRYvwRGwjKJr

worst part is using viabtc.com and spending an hour or more to get it in.

hehe... found that today's transaction fee is low (blockchain regular fees) and i consolidate those tiny mining payout, the transaction confirmed after 54 minutes with just 25 sat/ byte Grin Grin

Well I followed up on your advice  and did this transaction

https://blockchain.info/tx/9a521e067d377dae9f37438e4cfe7c788f8856a74defcd88c4ba067c94a1edb1

24 sats total Fees   0.0021257 BTC  or $5.52

   it would have been  8837 x 300 = 0.026511 btc or 69 usd
