IMO, I don't really care what people will talk about. They can gossip all they like until they lose their voices but I will still continue gambling and won't be shy about it.
I never kept it to my wife, she knows it and she also knows that I won't go far as being an addict. So why should I be ashamed outside while the people living in my roof already knew about it?

That's only natural, because everyone has their own perceptions and thoughts. Most people must have bad thoughts about gambling so it is not wrong to hide the gambling activities carried out. Because in my opinion it is also better to keep it a secret than to publish it, including the winnings too, if we get a win and publish it there are probably people who will not like it like our own friends.
There must be people talking about us from behind about what we do, because even in a friendship environment I am sure there are prejudices that our friends have against us, indeed they can comment until they run out of votes about what we do, but in my opinion if the gambling we do is not detrimental to others then just do it, I will also do it if it does not harm others.

But sometimes people look at me strangely when I say that I like to play at the casino. If you decide to keep your gambling activities secret, you must have a good responsible and self-control to protect yourself from the temptations of the gambling games because gambling can attracts yourself to playing gambling longer than you can thinks. You will forget about the rules that you already makes because you see gambling becomes more interesting and you thinks you have a chance to wins in the next rounds, but that's still not gives you the wins. My concern is about the gamblers who are not able to express their problems to the entire society or a loved one. But live the well-known life of an addict. And people are careless about recuperating their brains or thoughts. Generally, it's known that a player must be willing to be healed before responding to treatment. Yet communicating with the addicts who are not ready to change, can help reduce the period it'll consume for the player to redirect his thoughts to a better one. Neglecting them completely extends the period and makes the person act very strange. To the extent of hurting the society, he belongs to or finds himself in. It could be theft or selling of illicit items, for quick funds and wealth.
